Hey Zach. I ordered a pair of the Revolt 4.0s but forgot to use your link. Thanks for all the great info!
Hope you like them, and thanks for the Super Thanks!
Just a suggestion that I think would be cool and informative. When you cut open a shoe, you could take the uncut shoe and instead of cutting it down the middle, separate the upper from the midsole. This way you could go down the layers and remove the shank as a whole, cause a lot of shanks have extra parts that are harder to see from just a side profile. So that way you have the side profile and a look at the entire shank
If I get two pairs I will - that also just takes a lot of time haha so if there’s something I really want to see I will
Another good one Zach - keep tearing them down!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
I started using them for playing padel and I loved them i’ve got the coral/navy colorway
Love the video🔥🔥
Can I ask if you could possibly make a video about the Asics Gel Challengeer 13🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yep for sure
Hi Zach, You should review a very underrated and lesser-known tennis shoe -- the Prince Advantage Lite 2. It's my go-to for pickleball because it feels like a hybrid between a running and court shoe. Very lightweight but with decent stability.
Great shoe review, exactly how it should be, great job mate!🔥👌
Hey Zach. Thanks for the vid. I’m considering these alongside GR8, Barricade and Lav V2. I tend to bottom out the mid soles before anything else wears out. Not a fan of GR8 feel. Barricade mostly feels amazing but a couple of niggles -forefoot pinching and high heel sticking in Achilles - the Revolt Pro 4.0s feel great wearing in my house. Any thoughts on which of these four will have the most durable midsole cushioning?
I would think LAV but depends where you lay down the most force
Hi Zach, I just found your channel and I love your content. My feet have abnormally high arches, most of my foot doesn't touch the ground when I stand, and sometimes it causes issues when I play basketball. Do you have any suggestions for basketball shoes that could better support my weird feet?
I’d have to examine you to make any recommendations but usually people accommodate that with a combo of orthotics and thicker midsoled shoes like the gt jump
@@FootDoctorZach ok, thanks so much for the advice, I love the fact that you are engaged with your community!
The Babolat Propulse fury is also an amazing shoe
Tks man. I really believe head revolt pro series is one of the sleeper hits on the market. Light yet durable and ticks almost all the boxes. Plus not overtly long unlike some of the mizunos or the newer ascis which kind of make me feel like I got duck feet 😂 🌟 👍
Yeah they don’t get a lot of love because it’s a racquet manufacturer brand so a lot of times they are afterthoughts but these are the real deal
@FootDoctorZach hey zach! I am interested in these or the gel resolution 9. I have a chamce to get them at a good price but the asics are 20 dollars more. I am going to use these for advanced pickleball (5.0). Which one would you choose?
Just used these for the first time...incredibly plush and comfortable IMHO straight out of the box. A really supple upper means no break in. I used them on clay and grip wasn't an issue.
That’s good to know about the clay performance
@@FootDoctorZach yup....sliding was controlled, no unexpected slips. As you say, it's pretty much a herringbone pattern so pretty clay friendly. Trying grass and acrylic next week.
Dude I'm literally on the edge of my seat waiting on your new diadora reviews. The lotto was a solid call but idk I just feel a bit slow in them? Looking for a shoe to commit to and ride through the rest of the year
Thanks! Yeah the icons look tough but I’m not gonna be on court till next week to use them so I’m excited myself
Hey love the video great job! Wanted your opinion on which shoe is better for Pickelball for both indoor and outdoor use these Revolt 4.0 or the Babolat Jet Mach III love to hear your thoughts thanks much appreciated
Of the two the revolt pro probably has better indoor grip but neither will really grip hardwood well but these are a good alternative :
ruclips.net/video/N0573-ywLY0/видео.html
@@FootDoctorZach hey thanks for the prompt reply much appreciated! These ones you suggest aren’t they more basketball? So between the revolt and the babolat you would say the revolt?
I ordered these literally 5 mins before I saw you put out a review. Thanks for putting out the great info. Curious - you mentioned this isn't good to ankle sprainers. What are some other shoes that are a better options? Currently using the Court FF2 but nothing is in stock.
ruclips.net/video/Y0FitApDvEA/видео.html - there’s a list in this video
what is their weight? can't find the weight of them anywhere.
@@miguelroda8779 I’ve just got these. They’re just under 400g - 396!
How is the durability? Comparable to resolution from Asics? Better-worse?
Could you do the Head Sprint Pro SF please mate??
Hi zach, do you know any tennis shoes with support in the inner part of the arch? I got recomended the asics nimbus 23 as a daily shoe by my Fitness and movement coach but I cant use that on a clay court all day. Im a tennis coach so I spend most of the day with tennis shoes. Thank you
Solecourt boost
I prefer maximalist uppers. Great in-depth review as usual!
Also! Would you consider these a good pair for those that play on both hard and clay courts?
Yup
are air jordans possible?
Still loving the Diadora blushields…any chance you’ve got the new designs? The Torneo?
Review on the new icon will be out in the next week or so
Not gonna lie, your the only person I’ve ever seen that does such detailed sneaker reviews. Although my comment will probably be lost in the sea, I have a list of basketball shoes that I’ve heard good feed back on and I’d love for you to make videos on them
Them being:
Jordan 34
Jordan 35
LeBron 17
LeBron 18
LeBron Soldier 14
Jordan Why not zer0.2/SE
Jordan Why not zer0.3/SE
I’m also curious about:
Jordan why not.5
LeBron Soldier 14
Zoom Freak 1
Zion 1
Adapt BB 2.0
If, by chance you somehow see this comment, pls do at least one of thes shoes.
Thank you that’s very kind- for sure a few of these are already in my garage just haven’t had time to make videos yet and I’ll be doing every jordan too as a series so be on the look out 👀
Ordered these in size 14 & elected to return as too snug in toe box area & felt 1/2 size too small. A pretty snug fit throughout too imo. Ankle area is pretty low on sides too as noted in video. My usual size is 14D. Otherwise a cool looking shoe & a pretty light feel imo. Thanks for the review.
Glad it helped!
When can we get your opinion on the Diadora’s B.Icon? As it seems impossible to get my hands on a pair of blushield 5’s
I have them just haven’t been able to get on court with them yet- soon
Will you do the new Diadora? Two new models just hit the market. Thanks 🙏
Yep i have the Icon now just havent had a chance to get them on court yet
Hey zach Can you do 15 sec lateral side shuffles for these test
Sure
Best shoe I tried
Do you think they’re better than the Adidas sole match bounce?
Ummm- different- bounce has better lateral stability but not nearly as durable, nimble or fast so depends what you want
Bro can you say where is the part where you remove the sticker and activate the head cooling system in shoes. Please I just bought them !!!!!!
Under the insole
I’m frustrated with these shoes. It’s a really great sole grip and outsole but I feel the shoe is a bit too stiff for my liking. I normally wear the ASICS Solution Speed FF2s and are light weight and better toe box space. My biggest complaint is the Head Revolt Pro 4.0 outsole ridge is so stiff and stable which is good but causes me to roll my ankle easily due to lateral movement. The arch support is great for plantar fasciitis but the profile and weight takes some getting used to. I think it’s a clunky shoe for the 4 hours of play I’ve had in them. I want to like it but it only solves one or two issues for me and is not a complete shoe. If Revolt Head 4.0, ASICS FF2, and Montis Drop 1.0 could combine the best of each then that’d be awesome!
Speaking of new shoes, when can we expect your review of the new Diadora Speed B.Icon ?
Sometime soon- I have them just have been busy with other shoes
I am a big fan of the 3.5 for pickleball. These 4’s seem even better
Yeah for pickle these are top 5 for sure
@@FootDoctorZach im on Tennis Point now 😂. The blue colorway is nice.
@@FootDoctorZach you were right. These 4.0’s are great pickleball shoes.
I’ve never heard of this brand before. Nice review and breakdown as usual. Thanks, gonna do some research on them.
Thanks! Yeah they’re sneaky good outdoor shoes
Head makes sneaky good products. Clothing too.
Head missed out a chance to first release these in a lighter color, then later release them in the black/neon yellow colorway and call it the "Nite" like they did with the Extreme racquets!
Haha yeah that’s a good point- there actually is a light grey colorway of these too that released at the same time
do adidas 4D
Do babolat fury
Looks like the old Iverson answer 5
The tech looks promising but it looks like a work shoe😅 color ways do really matter.
Come to think of it, you can do a review of a work shoe instead of performance shoes for April 1st for funsies😁
Haha that’d be a good idea - theres actually a light blue/ grey colorway of these too
Looks like not only good racquet head also started making good shoes also 😂
I just got the Boom's so Im hoping they live up to the hype - yeah the 4.0 is actually a players shoe now
Nike Court Zoom NXT: ruclips.net/video/CrqlwAbW27s/видео.html
These shoes had the shortest lifespan of any tennis shoe I've played in. I wore through the outsole in less than 25 hours of play; most shoes I get closer to 150 or so hours.
😮
Love the video. But man this color scheme is hideous
It’s either a love or a hate for most- they have a greyish blue colorway too that’s more subtle
