    Just a suggestion that I think would be cool and informative. When you cut open a shoe, you could take the uncut shoe and instead of cutting it down the middle, separate the upper from the midsole. This way you could go down the layers and remove the shank as a whole, cause a lot of shanks have extra parts that are harder to see from just a side profile. So that way you have the side profile and a look at the entire shank

    Hi Zach, You should review a very underrated and lesser-known tennis shoe -- the Prince Advantage Lite 2. It's my go-to for pickleball because it feels like a hybrid between a running and court shoe. Very lightweight but with decent stability.

    Hey Zach. Thanks for the vid. I’m considering these alongside GR8, Barricade and Lav V2. I tend to bottom out the mid soles before anything else wears out. Not a fan of GR8 feel. Barricade mostly feels amazing but a couple of niggles -forefoot pinching and high heel sticking in Achilles - the Revolt Pro 4.0s feel great wearing in my house. Any thoughts on which of these four will have the most durable midsole cushioning?

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  2 года назад +1

      I would think LAV but depends where you lay down the most force

    Hi Zach, I just found your channel and I love your content. My feet have abnormally high arches, most of my foot doesn't touch the ground when I stand, and sometimes it causes issues when I play basketball. Do you have any suggestions for basketball shoes that could better support my weird feet?

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  2 года назад

      I’d have to examine you to make any recommendations but usually people accommodate that with a combo of orthotics and thicker midsoled shoes like the gt jump

    Ordered these in size 14 & elected to return as too snug in toe box area & felt 1/2 size too small. A pretty snug fit throughout too imo. Ankle area is pretty low on sides too as noted in video. I’m frustrated with these shoes. It’s a really great sole grip and outsole but I feel the shoe is a bit too stiff for my liking. I normally wear the ASICS Solution Speed FF2s and are light weight and better toe box space. My biggest complaint is the Head Revolt Pro 4.0 outsole ridge is so stiff and stable which is good but causes me to roll my ankle easily due to lateral movement. The arch support is great for plantar fasciitis but the profile and weight takes some getting used to. I think it’s a clunky shoe for the 4 hours of play I’ve had in them. I want to like it but it only solves one or two issues for me and is not a complete shoe. If Revolt Head 4.0, ASICS FF2, and Montis Drop 1.0 could combine the best of each then that’d be awesome!
