What is the best pair of orthotics to get for tennis?
Yo los he probado para jugar al pádel en Argentina y la verdad que me han sorprendido. Los utilizo en pistas indoor de alfombra sintética y excelente agarre. Definitivamente un 9.5
wowwwwwwwww, most insane shoe review i have ever seen. respect!!! i will check out ur other videos. thanks
Great review Dr Zach 💪🏿🧠
Cannot wait for the review one the most popular in China by far many other shoes the Li-Ning (Edge Sharp 3) V2 heard those are 🔥💯
Zach, your reviews are just amazing! I've been watching them for years now, it's always so helpful when thinking about getting a new pair of shoes.
I was wondering... do you plan to make a review on the Nike Vapor Lite 2? They are too cheap to be true, I'll only trust them after you review them lol
I think I will - I liked the original well enough
I have the pro's and the regular one. Both are great shoes for outdoor PB play. Works indoors as well, but there are times where the shoes don't have the traction to work indoors, but everyone else is fine with traction.
Love your videos. I get lower back pain when playing Pickleball. Looking for a shoe recommendation. I try so many shoes and they all seem narrow in toe box. I used to have new balance 796 size 9 wide, the only shoe that felt right in my toe and they have been discounted.
I watched your video on Mizunho Wave and gave them a try. 2 days after playing I had huge callouses and black and blues under my toe nails.
I had a prior back surgery and really need to find a new shoe that provides the support and cushion that I need with comftorable room m in toe area. Appreciate your consideration
They are awsome just got a pair for myself and they only cost me $86 total best value for a tennis/pb shoe i think. Im very pleased with the comfort and play
UPDATE #2: I have bought the Viper Pros and they are much different than the OG vipers. The Pros are absolutely worth checking out. They lean to a more traditional tennis shoe. They are my fav PB shoe, but the OG vipers still have the most comfortable sole for the PB shoes I have tired. I bought the Game Days (not the pros) as replacement insoles for my the OG Vipers size 8.5. The size 8 -8.5 fits perfectly. I liked the stock insoles but the upgrade to Game Days is immediate. They are thicker so the shoe fits tighter but they are defiantly worth it due to their quality. The Vipers can easily be worn as a light daily sneaker. I can also see how people don't like them because they do not feel like a traditional tennis shoe the way my JetMach 3 and GameCourt2's feel. They are thin in the midsole, very light and the soles are cushier than normal 'tennis' shoes. As the play session goes on, the foam feels like it molds to my feet, dialing in the stability. I like how they don't have that extra rear sole extension that 'tennis' shoes often have which is more suited for longer/wider tennis movements. The relaxed fit is sized perfectly to me. BTW if you need a true wide they do offer a true wide! I found the arch support comfy with their insoles but they will wear out. I watched Tyson's vid where he talked about them and was very impressed about how skechers worked with him to improve the shoe (ex., extra mid stability and extension of toe treads). Seeing how different the Pros are from the OG vipers its obv that they built the shoe from the ground up rather than slapping on a few upgrades. I got the pros with all the sales/discounts for about $70 and they are a great value at that price.
Hey doc can you do a review on the lining sonic 11 please cause I want to see how they perform because Im planning to get one
Love your reviews. Still hoping you'd review more trail running shoes. I'd love to see the insides and find out if their claims of "rock plates" etc. are legit.
Yeah I’m honestly trying to wrap my head around how to approach a sustainable running series- which type/ terrain to do and the number of videos per month to do- they’ll be coming - just working out the logistics
Each video I watch I'm pretty impressed at how good of an athlete Dr. Zach is
I'm a great pretender - haha thanks
Hey Zach. I’ve got a pair coming back with a friend from the States for me, in the Tyson colourway. Looking forward to trying them out on the PB court after my retirement from tennis to play/coach PB seriously in the UK
What made you make the switch?
@@FootDoctorZach to be honest, I loved the pickleball so much and the coaching opportunities just exploded. Couldn’t risk paying tennis and picking up an injury to prevent me working. I get a little wistful when it’s grass season here but the insane growth in pickleball has quietened that down. We are just short of 1000 players for the English open, including some APP pros: biggest tournament outside the US.
Can you do a review on the Nike react infinity run flyknit 3 please?
that back heel part makes it look like the Mizuno Wave
What do you think is a good budget option that compares to these for racquetball and pickle ball? Thanks
If the arch is part of the insole, dont I hose up the shoe engineering by replacing the insole?
hey can you do converse bb shift thanks!

@@FootDoctorZach aaah okay :)
Can you do a review on the ONs roger clubhouse pros
Pls try the new puma all pro zach
Hey doc can you do jordan sb 4
Thank you for the video. I am looking for a Christmas gift for my husband, and debating between these and Babolat Jet 3 (your recommendation). He plays pickleball once-twice a week indoor and outdoor. Which one would you recommend to pick? I like that they both come wide, that's what we usually get for him when shoe shopping. Thank you.
I don’t usually give specific recs but between those two the Jet Mach 3 is in another league but neither will do well indoor- the NB two wxy 4 is a good pick up though for indoor that comes in a wide
@@FootDoctorZach Thank you. I will do more research on NB
Do you have any interest in reviewing the MB.02 Lo's or are they too similar to the mod-top version to warrant it's own video?
Yeah not much new to talk about but Sammy at the sole drop did a nice video on them
is the lockdown still suitable for baskeball? for Guard positions.
I have a question about the way of wade brand. I wear a size 11 in Nike but I’m not sure what size to get in way of wade because you can’t try them on in a store
What I have found works best for me is to ignore the US sizing and buy based on EU sizing. My EU size is a 44.5 which is most commonly a US 10.5 but with some brands (head, puma, vans, etc) it's a US 11. As long as I buy the 44.5 EU the shoe is correctly sized length wise. But Way of Wade is odd in that they don't even have a 44.5 EU. They have a 44 1/3 which is their US 10.5 and a 45 which is their US 11. Know your EU size and then Google Way of Wade's size chart as you might get lucky in regards to a direct match.
What about NIKE FREE?
It’s been two months since I started my tennis warmup with NIKE FREE RUN 5. They let me improve my movements making me addicted to them. Now I’m considering testing FRE METCON. What’s your opinion?
I have seen a lot of professional soccer and basketball players wearing them for their workout
Whatever is most comfortable for you, no one bet product , just the best feeling for you
Are you going to be reviewing Ubersonic 4.1 ? Thanks
Next one up
@@FootDoctorZach Very strange but some people are totally trashing this newer version, saying it is completely different in a bad way
Hey Doc, great review, but check the spelling in video title!
Lol good call - whoops
I don't think they're worth remotely the $130 asking price, especially if there's no warranty replacement. I can consistently find the Nike Precision 5 or 6 on sale for $50, and they get the job done just fine.
I got mine for $110 which i thought was a decent price for the versatility - but yeah if you're looking for indoor hoops as well then yeah the P6 is a steal comparatively
Exactly, I'm not paying north of $100 for any shoe without an outsole warranty as no shoe lasts me more than 3 months. Further concerning is the wide/deep treads that leave less rubber on the medial side of the forefoot. I bet I'd wear through the outsole in around 30 hrs of court time.
How about the Viper Court Reloads? Any good?
I just bought them and I can’t find much info on them. I will test them out in a couple days.
I have a pair of the Viper Court Skechers it says that they are wide with arch fit they are neither. I have wide feet with a bunion which the side rubbed it raw. I took out the insole and it has no more arch than a regular running shoe. I tried my podiatrist perscription insoles for arch support in place of the regular insoles but there was no room. I have shelved them and when for aFitville pickleball shoe which has more room and fit a lot better. Skechers is highly overrated and expensive.
They aren’t for everyone that’s for sure
skechers is such a dogwater brand🗑
