Got my Edge Paris now thx to your and your reviews lol I’ll try them during my next training block… I used the VF3 at Paris and they were great … my best marathon shoes was the v2 … but the 3 is lighter, softer, bouncier… very protective .. I could keep the pace when I was in the hard end hillness sections … I just compared the Edge and VF3 side by side walking in the house … the VF3 are more smooth stable bouncier…will see … currently I’m still resting lol 👏👏👏😉💪🇫🇷 bon week end 😉

I ran a PR in Edge Paris 2 weeks ago. I’m looking for a more substantial or softer shoe for future marathons. Loved it, but need more shoe for last 8 miles.

Great video, is the plate in the Edge Paris more flexible than the Edge Plus?

I don’t think so. Similar plate rigidity, but the upgrade in foam is a game changer.

Has the Edge the same mid to forefoot Cushioning in comparison to the Endorphin Elite? Im a Midfoot to Forefoot Striker and like the Endorphin Elite very.
The Only Interessting Part on this new Edge is its so damn light.

I wouldn’t say it’s the same cushioning; the “flavor” of it is different. I think the Endorphin Elite feels more cushioned. There are others who don’t think the Elite is cushioned enough for a marathon, but it was my silver bullet for my PR in Chicago this past Fall.
While I don’t have the Speed Paris, its late stage rocker is more similar to the Endorphin Elite, but I think it still might be stiffer, albeit lighter, like the Edge Paris is.

I compare the Edge Paris and Endorphin Elite side by side if you skip to 8 minutes and 11 seconds on this video:

I've done a PB Marathon (2h35) two weeks ago in the Edge Paris. Great shoe and super feeling but the front of my legt upper tight was aching very much beginning at 38k. The reason could be the aggressive rolling. In the former three Marathons I had more problems with camping hams in the Sky Tokyo and Sky+.
Normally I'm a midfoot striker but from km 30 on I'm more and more on the heels.

That’s good info. Yeah, the Metaspeed series seems like a great choice for 30-35k of a marathon, but you have to be okay with being beat up for the last 30-40 minutes. However, it’s still a big step up from the pre-supershoe days of racing in racing flats. It’s just that there are some more forgiving options out there now for runners who might need or want a little more protection.

@@thecaptainchas2820 with the Edge I was able to hit a high cadence. My stride was shorter and the shoe helped to increase the cadence. So I've lost "only" 20s per k.
