  • Rodríguez House, in Mexicali, is the home of a young family that values outdoor living. With spaces organized around a perimeter garden, the house features curves that guide circulation and naturally illuminate the rooms. The entrance leads to a double-height living room with a skylight, connecting to the integrated social area with a patio. The ground floor houses the master bedroom with access to the backyard garden, while the other bedrooms and living room are located on the upper floor. The house is characterized by reinforced concrete walls on the ground floor and cement and dune sand plaster on the upper floor.

I love the model. It allows you to see some strange encounters that occur in the project.
The intention to create something special with all those curves is admirable, but the plot is too small and the building ends up eating most of it.
For my personal taste there is too much concrete and too little vegetation.
