As a third year pharmacy student, your videos are so informative on what life is really like as a pharmacist! I actually watched one of your videos before my placement with a mental health pharmacist and it was really helpful! ❤️
thanks so much for this! i’m starting my work experience tomorrow for the first time and i’m so nervous i can’t even sleep lol! this has helped me so much, thank you i’m so grateful! xxx
as a current 3rd year pharmacy student i can’t thank you enough for these videos!! i’m hoping to get a pre-reg in hospital😭 could you talk more about your pharmacy diploma / further studies routes please??🥺✨
Heyyy! Thank you so much for commenting! I will talk about the diploma, but only once I have completed 1 yr and 6 months! Currently, I have only completed 1 yr. Love Reginaaa
I’m a 4th year pharmD student and it seems that I have good knowledge but my supervisor says that I’m too slow analyzing files. It may be because I don’t work enough (I just do locum tech some days). I plan to apply in one little pharmacy the most that I can to get to do all pharmacy stuff and get better comments for my internships. What do you think ?
Hi, thank you for your videos, they are extremely helpful. when do you think its useful to do work experience or start looking for work experience? im currently in second year.
Thank youuu! I work from 9:20 to 5:30 a week, and one weekend in six...It is a 9-5 job but if you're doing diploma etc like me then it does involve work outside of hours!
@@KOREginAPharmacist Do you get paid extra for the weekend and is the weekend full time or on call? Lastly is the weekend both Saturday and Sunday or either? Thanks
@@stacyuviasah3090 It depends on the hospital, but for the hospital I was working for, you'd get paid per call/however long you took to answer the query! And it was Mon-Thurs, or Friday-Sunday :)
Hi I am currently a 2nd year student and I am applying for a hospital summer placements. Any tips on how to make the applicant look good would be great.

Hi Gina, is it possible to do a split pre reg between hospital and industry and can you make a video on this. Please and thank you 🙏🏻
Hospital and industry is quite unusual I think! I don't think it is impossible, but mostly it's community and hospital or community and industry.

Whenever you feel is necessary! There is no right or wrong time.

Send me your application, I am reviewing them all at the moment if you need any help :)
Would an independant or large chain pharmacy be a better place for pre-reg training?
Not much difference but the benefit of larger chains is that you can become familiar with their systems across the country :)
KOREginA London Pharmacist thanks. Damn didn’t notice you had whole vid on pre-reg placements,
@@ME-xh5zq Hope it helps!
How necessary is it to secure work experience ? Does it affect my pre-reg year acceptance
It means you have more to talk about in interviews etc!
Can you do a video with a pcn or gp pharmacist talking about the job role.
Need to find one that is happy to collab!!!
Abraham the pharmacist is a gp pharmacist
do you have an instagram? love your content!🥰
I don't put it on here but I will for you! It's regina.hj.lee :)
