Congrats on the 14K subscriber milestone. The Vevor circular saw sharpener would be something interesting to review. If it is something you don't already offer, it might be worth a check. With youtube search, having titles and descriptions that are keyword rich makes life so much easier. I watch youtube on my desktop computer so accessing the channel search function is straight forward for me.
I bought one of them as well. Originally was trying to get the Bucktool, low speed but it has been sold out for weeks. Loving the Vevor unit so far. Got mine for the $188 price you mentioned. Mine is non magnetic and I have made a new platen with threaded studs on the side that can accept the angle guide. So far it’s working great. Thanks for your videos. They have been very informative and helpful.
I bought one right after watching your review. I had been on the fence but you pushed me right over! I just got my machine modified and got a package of belts and strops from Cliff. I literally just came in from my little shop after practicing on a handful of thrift store knives. I have to say, you and Cliff sure make it look easy! It’s gunna take some time to develop the muscle memory. I’ve got my TSPROF all figured out. Now I feel like I’m back in kindergarten! 😳
I get a lot from your videos and really appreciate your efforts. I'm thinking about starting a business. I'm part of the reason VEVOR sold out. I got one, and quickly realized that I wanted at least one more. I was so pleased with the price. Mine was $188 I think, without a membership and, it was from Amazon. I also just got my Wen wheel replacement and bearings.
Well, I took the Vevor bait also. I was going to get one anyway, so no big deal. I also purchased the Wen wheel and the bearings. I am more satisfied with the stock wheel and tape solution though, so I am running that. I will replace the tensioner spring as there is too much "bounce" for my liking. I had much "tuning" to do as my unit was, sadly, assembled rather loosely. I use it in combination with my 1x30 Harbor Freight to get my edges ready for refined sharpening on a K03. Congrats on your subs, btw.
@@user-rf7kc4ev6t yeah unfortunately that’s how it goes some need nothing some need a little work to get just right- wait till you see wat I did in my video coming out soon to the stock wheel that has worked perfectly- for me fine tuning them is still part of the fun especially if the purchase price was acceptable
I tightened the wobble on my WEN wheel by adding a washer on each side of it and that took up all the extra length on the shaft. Adjusting the tracking is very touchy! 🤬
mine doesn't need big adjustment when adjusting tracking some may be turning it to much .Thats the only difference I have seen in my Toolcker and my Vevor is my Toolcker has a stiffer spring
@@ALXSHARPEN I took about 90% of the bounce out with a higher compression spring and reduced the sensitivity of the wheel adjuster with a higher compression spring as well. I have also replaced the mount bolts through the frame to now go through and added lock nuts. Eventually I will upgrade all fasteners to ensure less potential for loosening due to vibration. I like the machine well enough to invest a few dollars more to stabilize it.
New subscriber love your channel. I just go t my vevor 1x30 sander and am in the process of getting it tuned up. As the platen goes I stopped at a local welder and asked if he had a piece of scrap 1 inch x 1/4 flat bar and he even cut to the 4 inch as needed. Was easy to polish up with the vevor . Used a m5 tap for treads worked great.
I had been looking into one of these 1x30's for awhile. Your video put me over the top. I got mine around the first of the year and it meets all my expectations. I also got the $188 deal. With tax and fee's I was delivered to me at $205. It's a very cool tool.
Hey Alex I think I was the one to turn you on to that vevor after you were good enough let me email you the ones I was looking at on Amazon … funny thing is I couldn’t find it on there website when I looked but did on eBay which was cheaper than Amazon
@@buckstopshere7305 you may have been someone ask me if it was the same so I purchased one to find out but they are already driving the price down of the higher priced sellers some have dropped their prices. Their website is not easy to navigate then add to the fact they have 20,000 products the search on it is not good for finding things but it’s getting better every day when I first went to it all the languages were mixed up then the other day they got it fixed I was shocked to see they even have lasers they told me they don’t keep a large inventory or the expensive items so probably won’t ever get one to test . The sweet spot for them seems to be products in the $200-300 range but I did see they had a 100 watt fiber laser for a good price but if I was spending that kind of money I’m not getting one from a relatively unknown company in the laser market. I can see how their model works for them but on the really expensive items like they’re 100 W Galvão fiber, laser that was $5000. I bet they sit around for a long time before they sell.
I think you need to make a video for cellphone and computer navigation for your channel. There are people who love one or the other and I have both, but would never consider watching a RUclips video on a phone. I'll spend hours a day on a computer, one with two 27" monitors or a laptop with a 17" monitor, but my Sister will use a 6 inch phone 16 hours a day and refuse to turn on a computer because she doesn't make it convenient to use.
Actually just chopped off the spring on my angle guide and attached it with the giant square magnet like two hours ago. Thanks!

@@gfrances1 I know it’s been sold out since Cliff showed it but i honestly feel Vevor/Toolcker is far more useful
