Back in '69 I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing the Vancouver, BC ladies pipe band in competition at Portland, Oregon!! They had the greatest digital dexterity!! They won a couple of those competitions in those years!!! I've loved the pipes since first I heard them!!!

26yrs ago after the nine solemn bagpipers returning and entering the city gates, shortly after two ambulances and then a single hersh arrived from the eastern front during the battles of 1998. Scottish children would throw handfuls of flower pedals towards the hersh, freshly fallen from trees nearby to hungry hands. Relatives of the fallen arrived, nearly 100 in wheelchairs to pay homage to their blood kinsman fallen.
