I had many McDLT's! I do not like raw onions or McD's little bitter pickles on the current Q-Pounders.
When you order things these days, it doesn't matter if you say "no onions!" they just robotically make the burgers.
When they switch to robots it might get better
I don’t remember the McPlant because apparently Milwaukee (where I’m from) wasn’t one of the cities where it was test marketed, but two major problems with it were probably that it had a slice of dairy cheese rather than vegan cheese; and that it was probably grilled on the same grill used for the meat.
Yep, fried in that burger grease, I am sure this is the Sam sue every fast food place because, you know that their not going to buy a new grill to cook one burger! I didn’t think they put cheese on those plant based burgers!
Oh well let them eat grass.
I must say that I'd love to see the double down return once again, it's iconic!🍗🍞

Krystal, which is a lot like White Castle but in the South, had a sandwich back in the 90s called the Big K, which was basically a regular sized burger with all the fixings. It had diced tomatoes and onions instead of slices and bacon and it was really good, it was always my mom's go to back then, but sadly Krytal stopped selling it
I loved the Big K but feel terribly ancient for remembering it from the '70s.
@Skrub Tre It's such a shame when a favorite item disappears from the menu. The Krystal Big K sounds like it had a unique twist on a classic burger. Maybe one day they'll bring it back due to popular demand!
I miss the ORIGINAL Burger King Yumbo from the 70's. It was basically a big handfull of shredded ham and shredded cheddar cheese perfectly melted together on a Whopper bun. It was incredible!

Since you did include The Double Down, I was hoping that you would've shouted out BK's Chicken Burger. The spiced just right meat on a fancy roll with mayo was my jam.
Also, maybe you can help me. I recall a burger from somewhere actually being a patty made, not from ground beef, but from tiny pieces of steak(?) magically held together. I have vague recollections of it. I think that I really enjoyed it. Have you ever heard of such a burger?

McD's reintroduces the Small n' Spendy

The Jack In The Box Bunch [1970s Jack In The Box Restaurants, they were super cartoon-y, had fun personalities, and were voiced by Paul Winchell, voice of Tigger! They even had a female character years before Mcdonald's introduced Birdie.]
The California Raisins [They had the best covers of vintage music, and had so much fun personalities! A.C. is my personal favorite.]
The Noid [despite what happened, I still think The Noid is a fun mascot. He's like the Wile E Coyote of mascots!]
Donny & Dottie Domino [it's the 30th anniversary of their ads this year, I hope Domino's does something with these characters!]
Loveable Truly [the Gomer Pyle of cereal mascots, Loveable was cute an funny, and even if Post still couldn't keep Alpha-Bits around, they could've at least made Loveable Truly the mascot of the Post brand in general]
Linus the Lionhearted [The mascot of Crispy Critters, and once was popular enough to get his own TV show. Since 2024 is the anniversary of the Linus show, Post should bring Linus and his cereal back for a limited time at least].
That's all I can think of for now, but please use these mascots in a Discontinued Mascots video!

For me its the uniqueness of the Double Down. As good as it is on it's own, its best with gravy. In the Philippines, some even order rice to compliment it.
The Big Bacon Cheddar's combo of bacon and cheese with hamburger ensures it's success.

The reason the Big N Tasty was discontinued is because the price went up. When it was 99 cents we sold a lot of them but as soon as the price raised to almost $4 no one would buy them.

Also, in the late 2010's, my mom and I were coming home from the movies when Wendy's had the Baconator, my mom told me our Wendy's Baconator had mold in one of them, 😢☹️🤢.

I remember the two things that I enjoyed the most that were discontinued Burger King had chili on his menu that was way better than Wendy's it had somewhat of a sweet taste to it it's really good but it wasn't on the menu very long and also McDonald's at was called a shaker salad it was served in a plastic cylinder and you put your dressing in cylinder and shook up your salad it was really really good but that didn't stay on the menu long either

I can see why the KFC Double Down was discontinued: Two fried chickens with all the fat,cholesterol, and calories is a heart attack and quad bypass surgery waiting to happen. KFC definitely didn't want to deal with its consumers keeling over at their restaurants.

@@BabbleTop I think if the fast food industry offered more healthy options that taste good with maybe some modifications I think portion sizes could cut in half but it's fast food and I understand that it's not a five star quality meal but there could be improvements made though.

I would love to see Burger King get the Shaq Burger back again. It was so good when I was a child/teen in the 2000's. The fries were a little too salty though 😵.

I think this item from KFC should come back: the Krusher, KFC desert only have chocolate and lemon cake and those not too good at all. (The fact that one of my kfc location still sell Dutch apple pie which is was discontinued too but they still sell it).

Ahh yes, the McSpaghetti.. literally.. the worst possible form of spaghetti there is. Makes Chef Boyardee look like it came from a 5 star restaurant. It looks awful.. in the advertisement! How? Dude, the tv dinners from Banquet look better.
