Great job... really in the ballpark. Looking to see how you approach his clean tone. His lead is just OK to my ear, but his clean tone KILLS me.
Loving this series. I’m going onde by one as I’m not a musician but a mesmerized spectator who is amazed by who can play well. You mention that you removed your compressor from this preset and I’ve been thinking, since I’ve started watching your videos, wouldn’t it be better to have a real compressor out of the pod go output? Or better use on in the loop? Again, questions from an unskilled player that is a luthier on the side. I am musically deaf but i can fix and improve a guitar’s sound and playability that amazes the real players. Take that player! LOL. I’m like a mechanic who can’t drive, I’d say. Thank you for such East to understand explanations.
great tones.. try to use pocket fuzz and replace the valve drive ..
Really close to the EJ tone. Having said that, here's a controversial statement - I've always thought EJ's tone is similar to taking a good gain sound and turning down the tone knob on your guitar. I personally like more high midrange. I have seen EJ live, and I think he's an amazing, amazing player and a good singer, too. It's hard to make your own sound on a Strat, but he's done it.
Not controversial at all - I was waiting for him to do the final highs roll-off.
`I followed qlong and did every single seting for every block on My Helix Playing my 79 Fender Sttrat and I sounds like CRAP ! I don't get It WTF?
