Yeah I was thinking the very same thing. I don't think anybody would really want what he described unless they were completely selfish. I mean if a guy can psychically anticipate your every want and need but you didn't possess the same intuitive knowledge of his innermost desires you would feel terrible every time you hurt or disappointed him. He would be perfect and you would be just ordinary. He could have any woman and you would be driven crazy trying to keep him yours. Unless you were totally selfish. Then you could just lock 'Mr Perfect' in your house as a love slave and have him feed chocolates to you while you took a bath! I couldn't agree more with this video. Everything is soooo true!!! I've been with my husband for 14 years since I was 15 and he was 16 years old. Omg! I hate people who are our age and are single because their partner disagreed with them. My gosh my husband and I have fought and have argued but at then end of the day we let each other that we love one another. We make fun of each other like best friends all the time and we laugh at each other as well lol. People find it weird but it's how our relationship works. He goes out with his friends and I go out with my mine or my mom and our daughter. We need our space. We give each other the freedom to be our own person. He needs to go to the gym and I need to go for walks and get clear my head. He makes my life so easy when it comes to parenting as well. I'm a stay at home wife but yet he cooks his own food and washes his clothes. He always says "my mother didn't do this for me so why should my wife" he's also feminist so he believes I'm equal to him and believes that my role as a stay at home wife is just as tiring as his job and 4 hour commute daily. It's not always rainbows and butterflies but he's my bestfriend and we love being with each other. I can't stand relationships where if the husband is off that means they can be around friends. My family and friends find it odd that I don't rush home when he gets home from work but he isn't handicap so he's capable of doing everything on his own.

I know, my boyfriend is everything described here. He even says he's my best friend and that I am his. He is great to me aside from his moods he needs meds but were working on it, he just moved here and needs to get insurance and all that fun stuff that comes with changing states.
The most important thing a man can do to show that he loves me is a reaffirming touch. If we've both been at work for 8 hours and maybe we don't have a lot to say on this particular day, the simplest touch on my lower back or holding my hand while watching a movie or a hug from behind while I'm washing the dishes. That type of touch lets me know "I may not be saying much today, but I'm still here and I'm enjoying your presence".

Completely agree with this. Being flexible is also a great quality. Compromising and meeting someone you love in the middle too. Many people nowadays think if things are not their way that means, they do not love you. You are right on the money with this! I was an 'infatuation junkie' and believe for far too many years in the Cinderella story. So much that I would dump a guy the second things took any work or he did not meet my every need. After many mistakes and a reality check, I finally grew up and got over that fantasy and met a really amazing guy who is my best friend, love, confidante. We share just about everything together, but we have no problem giving each space to do the things we love. We have formed a deep trust and are sensitive to each other's need. He makes me feel special and we are both very affectionate. We are the best thing that ever happen to each other. We both have grown by leaps and bounds as individuals. He puts me in my place and vice versa. This is more than I ever dreamed love would be like, much better than the fantasy. I have peace, love and happiness with a genuinely good man. I think really listening to your partner and getting them to open up and build trust, I’m in the beginning stages of a relationship and I am falling in love with him and it’s a great feeling, this is all new to me as I’ve only had not so good experiences with relationships and this one is completely different and I really feel like I’ve met my best friend and soul mate. So to me actions definitely speak louder than words, so showing your partner that you love them is definitely key. Also i feel like when it’s reciprocated, it’s a sign that things are going in the right direction. I think taking it slow, seeing your new partner once or twice a week is perfect, sometimes you want to see them more, but I think the build up of missing them is incredible and needed. Just being there for for them and I think getting texts good morning and good night and little check in’s through out the day are important too. Communication, action and loyalty is all key to showing your partner you love them. Thank you for this video 😀
Being with a person for more than 28 years and he just called me to ask if I am doing well and frankly, we talked through Skype for hours! We always did before. We maybe apart but we always keep in touch. He wants to know what I need but I do not need much actually coz I hate taking too much advantage of him. I never seen him hanging around in bars and having met too many women in his younger life, he thinks that they all want his pocket than him but he got good looks too. One thing I can say that I am indeed lucky. There are a lot of good things in him that is hard to find in a man.
I think you are 100% right. For me, all those traits/behaviours are actually attractive. I think nobody should forget who they are when they are in a relationship. That's what makes it unique and interesting. That you have your own opinion, your own point of view, your own life, your own friends. I think more women should learn how to stay, I guess, kind of, independent in a relationship. It makes the whole experience a lot better when you don't rely on someone else to constantly be there for you. You should be there for yourself. The most important thing a man should do if he loves me, is to let me KNOW (not only think) that he loves me and wants to be with me only. Plus let me know that he is one I can rely on and trust, and would be there for me. Although he knows and acknowledges that he is not perfect, but strives always for improving without stressing himself. I would also do the same things for him.

I agree 100%..I've been married for 12 years, and I feel that we fall i love more and more, as time passes by.I think the key is communication and compromise. We have 3 children and we both are 34. We both have jobs and with everything else, our days could becoming pretty busy. The things that i love about my husband are: 1.He always makes time for me. Sometimes, I can see he is super tired and he still makes the effort do dedicate time for me only. 2. He will not let me do anything that will affect me in a negative way, even if we end up on an argument. 3.When life gets really busy, he goes out of his way to help me with the house shores and kids, so i can get my "me" time(so I can work out or go do as I please).4.He prays for me. 5.He has taken the time to know me soo well, he knows when I am stress or as little as if i feel like eating ice cream. I like what you said in the last part about how even when you are committed in a relationship is still okay to spend many nights apart. Lots of people think my relationship is a bit weird cause we aren’t as clingy with each other, he does have an unusual situation that prevents us from seeing each other as much as we like, and we live in the same town. But I respect his situation and I stand by until he is available to spend time with me again. 🙂 I thought it was weird that whenever I talk about my relationship that most people think he should be my servant. Is not just weird, but that is uncool and disrespectful to your loved ones. We still talk almost everyday over the phone whether in text or voice. And we truly appreciate and cherish the times we can be together. We enjoy it more and appreciate it more because we been apart for a bit. Haha I watched this and it's just made me have a sudden realisation. my boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months now, he's told me he's scared of saying "I love you" as he's been hurt bad in a past relationship. I know him quite well now n he's not the type to show affection all the time or to be romantic he's laid back and likes joking around. but it's the small things he does to make me feel good that mean the world. simple things like cuddling me when we are just walking down the street or both of us being daft walking around tescos and supporting me with work by telling me that I'm doing awesome. I know he loves me by his actions even though he said he cant say it just yet. he shows me in other ways. I haven't had much experience with long term relationships.. I guess what I'm trying to ask is that.. how can I help him reassure him that I'm not going to hurt him like his past experiences?

Hi Meagan, As a guy I would say that you should sit down with your man and have an honest conversation with him. Tell him how you feel. Tell him how much you love him, how much he means to you and then say something a long the lines of "I know you may not feel like or want to talk to me about what's been going on in your life, but I love you, want you and need you and I need you to communicate with me (or at least try) because I am your woman, you are my man and we are partners. We can depend on each other and are here to support each other". I might be wrong but I would listen if my girlfriend said that to me. Just gently encourage him to commincate more. Best of luck.

Adam, what you are saying is so true. It's the best thing to be friends as well as lovers. My late husband and I could talk about so many different subjects. You should be able to balance each other out in a relationship. When a couple has different strengths and weaknesses, they learn a lot from each other. It is very true that a man who loves you does like to kid you. That's how men play. Men can be a bit gross at times, but it's ok. It shows that they trust you. It's like they know that you are not going to be judging their behavior all the time. Let them show you how they care by doing it their own way. I'm Finnish (we Finnish people are quite reserved to say the least 😅) so we don't tell each other "I love you" every day 😬... but I think actions speak louder than words!!! For exemple I love when my husband takes care of my car that it is safe for driving (we have cold and snowy winters here) or he slightly touches my big toe when he goes to the bathroom when I read in bed ❤️ or he sends me sex texts when I'm at work 😍... the list goes on and on! I couldn't agree more with this video. Everything is soooo true!!! I've been with my husband for 14 years since I was 15 and he was 16 years old. Omg! I hate people who are our age and are single because their partner disagreed with them. My gosh my husband and I have fought and have argued but at then end of the day we let each other that we love one another. We make fun of each other like best friends all the time and we laugh at each other as well lol. People find it weird but it's how our relationship works. He goes out with his friends and I go out with my mine or my mom and our daughter. We need our space. We give each other the freedom to be our own person. He needs to go to the gym and I need to go for walks and get clear my head. He makes my life so easy when it comes to parenting as well. I'm a stay at home wife but yet he cooks his own food and washes his clothes. He always says "my mother didn't do this for me so why should my wife" he's also feminist so he believes I'm equal to him and believes that my role as a stay at home wife is just as tiring as his job and 4 hour commute daily. It's not always rainbows and butterflies but he's my bestfriend and we love being with each other. I can't stand relationships where if the husband is off that means they can be around friends. My family and friends find it odd that I don't rush home when he gets home from work but he isn't handicap so he's capable of doing everything on his own.

If we've both been at work for 8 hours and maybe we don't have a lot to say on this particular day, the simplest touch on my lower back or holding my hand while watching a movie or a hug from behind while I'm washing the dishes. You are right on the money with this! I was an 'infatuation junkie' and believe for far too many years in the Cinderella story. So much that I would dump a guy the second things took any work or he did not meet my every need. After many mistakes and a reality check, I finally grew up and got over that fantasy and met a really amazing guy who is my best friend, love, confidante. We share just about everything together, but we have no problem giving each space to do the things we love. We have formed a deep trust and are sensitive to each other's need. He makes me feel special and we are both very affectionate. We are the best thing that ever happen to each other. We both have grown by leaps and bounds as individuals. He puts me in my place and vice versa. This is more than I ever dreamed love would be like, much better than the fantasy. I have peace, love and happiness with a genuinely good man. I think really listening to your partner and getting them to open up and build trust, I’m in the beginning stages of a relationship and I am falling in love with him and it’s a great feeling, this is all new to me as I’ve only had not so good experiences with relationships and this one is completely different and I really feel like I’ve met my best friend and soul mate. So to me actions definitely speak louder than words, so showing your partner that you love them is definitely key. Also i feel like when it’s reciprocated, it’s a sign that things are going in the right direction. I think taking it slow, seeing your new partner once or twice a week is perfect, sometimes you want to see them more, but I think the build up of missing them is incredible and needed. Just being there for for them and I think getting texts good morning and good night and little check in’s through out the day are important too. Communication, action and loyalty is all key to showing your partner you love them. Thank you for this video 😀
Being with a person for more than 28 years and he just called me to ask if I am doing well and frankly, we talked through Skype for hours! We always did before. We maybe apart but we always keep in touch. He wants to know what I need but I do not need much actually coz I hate taking too much advantage of him. I think you are 100% right. For me, all those traits/behaviours are actually attractive. I think nobody should forget who they are when they are in a relationship. That's what makes it unique and interesting. That you have your own opinion, your own point of view, your own life, your own friends. I think more women should learn how to stay, I guess, kind of, independent in a relationship. I agree 100%..I've been married for 12 years, and I feel that we fall i love more and more, as time passes by.I think the key is communication and compromise. We have 3 children and we both are 34. We both have jobs and with everything else, our days could becoming pretty busy. The things that i love about my husband are: 1.He always makes time for me. Sometimes, I can see he is super tired and he still makes the effort do dedicate time for me only. 2. He will not let me do anything that will affect me in a negative way, even if we end up on an argument. 3.When life gets really busy, he goes out of his way to help me with the house shores and kids, so i can get my "me" time(so I can work out or go do as I please).4.He prays for me. 5.He has taken the time to know me soo well, he knows when I am stress or as little as if i feel like eating ice cream. I like what you said in the last part about how even when you are committed in a relationship is still okay to spend many nights apart. Lots of people think my relationship is a bit weird cause we aren’t as clingy with each other, he does have an unusual situation that prevents us from seeing each other as much as we like, and we live in the same town. But I respect his situation and I stand by until he is available to spend time with me again. 🙂 I thought it was weird that whenever I talk about my relationship that most people think he should be my servant. Is not just weird, but that is uncool and disrespectful to your loved ones. We still talk almost everyday over the phone whether in text or voice. And we truly appreciate and cherish the times we can be together. We enjoy it more and appreciate it more because we been apart for a bit. Haha I watched this and it's just made me have a sudden realisation. my boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months now, he's told me he's scared of saying "I love you" as he's been hurt bad in a past relationship. As a guy I would say that you should sit down with your man and have an honest conversation with him. Tell him how you feel. Tell him how much you love him, how much he means to you and then say something a long the lines of "I know you may not feel like or want to talk to me about what's been going on in your life, but I love you, want you and need you and I need you to communicate with me (or at least try) because I am your woman, you are my man and we are partners. Adam, what you are saying is so true. It's the best thing to be friends as well as lovers. My late husband and I could talk about so many different subjects. You should be able to balance each other out in a relationship. When a couple has different strengths and weaknesses, they learn a lot from each other. It is very true that a man who loves you does like to kid you. That's how men play. Men can be a bit gross at times, but it's ok. It shows that they trust you. It's like they know that you are not going to be judging their behavior all the time. Let them show you how they care by doing it their own way. That way they know that you want them to be their selves. Don't expect them to act like women. And, when you are in a relationship for along time, take the time to have date nights. That way, you are reminded of why the two of you got together in the first place.
I totally agree with everything you said in this video! I have been married to my best friend for 21 yrs! I'm Finnish (we Finnish people are quite reserved to say the least 😅) so we don't tell each other "I love you" every day 😬... but I think actions speak louder than words!!! For exemple I love when my husband takes care of my car that it is safe for driving (we have cold and snowy winters here) or he slightly touches my big toe when he goes to the bathroom when I read in bed ❤️ or he sends me sex texts when I'm at work 😍... the list goes on and on! But the most important thing is that we can make each other laugh so hard 😂 Teasing is the best! Have nice day!
Petra Rosenqvist I agree with you! I love a man to take care of the car, or makes sure things around the house are safely taken care of so that he doesn't have to worry about me trying to do them. But unfortunately my husband does not do that. I have to do it.
Me and my beautiful better half Abby, have had our problems over the last few months (breaking up for a few days) but the moment we realised our undeniable, true love for each other was when we saw each other at our friends party. We went outside and spoke and we both revealed how we felt - we both felt sick and empty - and now things are better than ever. I realised I've made mistakes (I'm lousy sometimes, she deserves the world) and she realised she'd made mistakes. We've never been happier 🙂
