Regulating an Orient Kanno

My Orient Kanno (reference RA-AA0915R19B) has always performed within specification but hasn't been as accurate at timekeeping as I would like (running too fast). So, I decided to break out my timegrapher and regulate its movement (caliber F6922) myself.

Good job 👍. Greasing the o ring is a good idea to help the back tighten without tearing it.

Good point, I do have my grease and totally forgot about it since I did not remove the ring from the back but the stuff is cheap and a good addition to a kit if one opens watches a lot!

Do not worry when I got home I opened it up and greased it. Now it is very shiny and slippery. And some grease got on my rubber ball and did not want to seal anything but that is another story!

@@WatcheswithDennis Oh that isn't good, did the ball clean up OK? I keep meaning to buy a ball like yours, they are much safer than my steel tool.

I try to come in at a shallow angle so I more slip off the top than downward. Most of the time if I do hit below it's just into the exterior of the balance wheel.

My colour is diferent ring red, fabrique 5s for day Kanu is more beautiy than Kamatzu, but Kano is from worst material. I never have accurate Automatic than 6922.
