I was 7 when I first heard Paul and the lads in 1964. Now I'm 67 and it's like no time has gone by when we listen to this timeless music. They tapped into everyone's hearts.
I agree totally! And, I feel, as you likely do as well, the other most heartwarming thing is the staggering, genuine love FROM one man... so grateful to have been alive during his time!
NO solo es un genio y una leyenda viva sino que es quizá uno de los poquísimos artistas que puede conmover tanto al público. Se observa a la gente feliz y entusiasmada en este concierto.
My wife and I went to dozens of concerts over the years, seeing all of our favorite performers from Leonard Cohen to Weird Al. But seeing McCartney in front of 30,000 fans was the perfect concert experience. The biggest performer in the world, and he was on for over 3 hours. He did hit after hit after hit. And when it was over, peopler were saying, 'but he didn't do this one. He didn't do that one." And I don't think anyone enjoyed that concert more than McCartney himself.
The only that I can say is only a word: RESPECT: and a second: LOVE, and a third: THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE SO GENEREOUS IN ALL WHAT YOU DO: " GREAT AND ONLY ONE PAUL McCARTNEY !
Fantastic! A True Artist of All Time! He can communicate through music to anyone. A culture is only as good as its dreams. And its dreams are dreamed by artists. And that is what Paul is. Love you Paul, Juanita, Gregg and Steven. I would be an true honor to meet you!
What a tight band. What impresses me is not only the amount of teens and pre-teens in the crowd but they are actually mouthing the lyrics! It does this old heart good to see that.

The very first album I bought ever was "Magical Mystery Tour". That was in 1967...I was 6 years old. I saved up my allowance money, went to The Record Shop on Route 38 in Cherry Hill NJ and bought it. My father was not very happy because it cost me $4.00. In 1967, $4.00 was a lot of money for a 6 year old to have. What memories.
I was six In 1967 as well but I wasn’t buying any records, but I sure love those Beatles songs on the radio. Love Them just as much today. I remember buying the single of get back and thinking it was the best song ever made, as Well is Benny and the Jets of course. I think I was in fifth grade I’m not sure sure. Great memories. So cool that you were six and knew you wanted the album, I’m sure you’re a pretty smart guy.
@@lindapelle8738 I have a degree in music with a concentration in orchestral and choral conducting. But I do still love good rock and roll, jazz, blues, etc. I also love literature and cooking. Incredible...I had not seen this before now....Wow...!! I'm 66 so I have known Paul McCartney's music since the early 1960's. I remember riding my bicycle to the local skating rink and hearing this song playing over the loudspeaker and I thought, hey, I like this song, but who is it? Ha...it was the Beatles with one of their first hits like " I Wanna Hold Your Hand" or one of those first ones. I have a grown Daughter and a couple of years ago Paul came to Little Rock, Arkansas and we very much wanted to go, but sadly, just couldn't afford the tickets. I had never gone to one of his concerts so this was probably my one chance to see him live, but it just didn't happen. Oh well...that's okay because being able to watch one of his incredible concerts like this one is the next best thing. The cameras showing so many people in the crowd, singing and dancing their hearts out, people crying from the emotional impact of Paul performing those amazingly beautiful and touching songs, had this old man choking up constantly. Yes...music ( good music...there is lots of horrible and terrible junk that people try to call music...but it's not...), is I believe, a Universal and Spiritual thing. Scientists cannot put music in a test tube or measure it with an instrument...it's not physical...it transcends physical. Yes, of course music is 'made' with physical instruments or sung with vocal cords in one's throat, but what a person creates with those instruments is the Spiritual part. I absolutely loved this video...Fantastic, incredible...words do no justice as to how this concert made me feel..Wow..!!
I connect to all you share. I call Paul the timeline of my life from 13yrs of age. He is such a delightful, brilliant person, who has provided so much pleasure to our lives, and his superb marraige to Linda, leading to the evolution of Wings, topped it off - the Marraige of the Century.
This has got to be the BEST MOVIE of a concert by Sir Paul McCartney. The other movies or coverages of his other concerts showed Paul and his band MOST of the time. What the movie directors of the OTHER MOVIES of Paul's concerts CLEARLY MISSED Is the fact that a LARGE PART of the APPEAL of such movies is the SHOWING of the HUMAN DRAMA that unfolds in the AUDIENCE during the entirety of the concerts. See, as nice as it is to watch Sir Paul playing the piano or guitar while singing, one gets a little tired watching him and his band for over an hour. But watching how the audience reacts to his MASTERFUL SONGS, is SUPER ENJOYABLE. While, as a lover of human beauty, I take enormous pleasure in watching the beautiful females in the audience, I also find it IMMENSELY DELIGHTFUL to see even young children singing his songs all throughout his concerts, which unarguably proves that Sir Paul's musical masterpieces appeal to ALL GENERATIONS, or people of all ages. Furthermore, it is ENORMOUSLY PLEASURABLE to see friends hugging together, grandfathers acting as if they are drummers or guitarists, while their grandchildren are watching them, lovers kissing and embracing each other, etc. Only this movie, among many movies of his other concerts, has SHOWN many of such LOVELY HUMAN DRAMA, and much more. How we wish that the directors of the movies of his past concerts had enough SMARTS to know that the audiences' reactions to Paul's exhilarating concerts, are part of the MASSIVE APPEAL of a Paul McCartney concert. Paul clearly LOVES people, and movies of people loving each other during his concerts only confirm that Paul's Mission on earth of love among all, is being realized by his concerts and albums. Peace and love to all. God bless us all.
It’s true. I’ve seen Paul in concert three times in the past 11 years, three different states, and I enjoy watching the crowd, almost as much as I do watching him perform. So much love in the room! It flows from the stage to the audience and back again, over and over til the roof almost comes off the place !

Many of the music experts featured in this film failed to mention that Paul borrows much from the styles of the greatest classical music composers, particularly, but not limited to Mozart, Bach, and Puccini. This has got to be the BEST concert review and FILM of Paul McCartney for the MOST OBVIOUS of reasons, which somehow ELUDES too many of today's FILM makers and VIDEO producers. What is WORTHWHILE and FUN to film is the HUMAN DRAMA that unfolds while the concert is going on. We can only watch, for example, the singers, guitarists, drummers, and keyboard players, etc., for too many minutes before we START to get BORED. But the human drama that unfolds is always wonderful to watch, like friends bonding more and more and HAPPILY SINGING together, fathers, mothers, and sons and daughters hugging each other HAPPILY while singing to the tune of the lyrics and melodies. All those make for good and interesting FILM MATERIAL that is always INTERESTING and CAPTIVATING to watch. God bless us all.
I come from the other side of the world, from Germany. So we have different cultures and speak different languages. But we both love listening to Paul, and that's very special I think. It's another reason why he is a very special person, because he unites all the world with his music! No matter what culture and language.
Have to keep watching this....were you lucky enough to be here? If you were please post the time you were..captured for posterity. So many beautiful people, and I'll guarantee not one bad person in 22,000!!!
An amazing thing happened with Paul. He had musical talent. Then the family had sing-a-longs at night with his father playing piano. After a while Paul took over. Listening to so many English folk songs around the house growing up. All of those melodies penetrating Paul's young heart and mind. Then - he heard Elvis and Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. Well, the universe cracked open and Paul fell in. Just like his stage! All of the wonderful melodies growing up mixed with Rock & Roll. And the world received this incredible gift of Sir Paul McCartney. ✨️ Then of course two musical planets collided when he met John and even more creativity happened. 🎶 🎵 So cool 😎 a blessing. 💖
First we saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan February 9, 1964. My 7th birthday! On our little black and white TV 📺. Then A Hard Days Night and Help! we're movies. Then in 1970 I was 13 and got my first portable stereo record player. Rubber Soul was one of the first albums I got. I put it on and "Drive My Car" came on. Followed by that amazing album. He was actually almost the iconic age of 64 by June 18, 2006. So 63, here on this video. This concert was shot back in 2005, I believe. The notes above list that even though it's in Spanish.
Koncert McCartneya rewelacyjny.McCartney - to klasa sama w sobie.😎

Was lucky enough to see this tour in Detroit where the couple (who we'd met in the hotel bar before and after the show) got engaged on stage with Paul's help. Also think on the tours after this (after the difficulties with HM) Paul struggled with vocals, so this is how I want to remember the man! Love him to bits ! ❤

Magical mystery Paul
Was lucky enough to see this tour in Detroit where the couple (who we'd met in the hotel bar before and after the show) got engaged on stage with Paul's help. Also think on the tours after this (after the difficulties with HM) Paul struggled with vocals, so this is how I want to remember the man! Love him to bits ! ❤
simply fantabulous! 😃
Paul at his best. An amazing Concert/ Doco. Loved it - thanks for sharing.

Great concert this ! Saw Paul and his fabulous band in June 2019. He brought horns which really added that extra dimension. So special.
Enjoying every note!

MERVEILLEUX MUSICIEN
Muchas gracias ❤
💜
