Same age as me! I’m from their home city of Liverpool, I did see them once, I was a schoolgirl at the time. I waved to them when they came back to Liverpool in a Rolls Royce which drove very slow so we could all see them. There were hundreds of people waiting to greet them. A very exciting time to be a teenager.

So many happy memories and nostalgia every time I listen to their great lyrics. The more I listen to Beatles' music the more I am amazed at their incredible talent. Definitely the best and most influential band in history.

I'm absolutely feeling blessed for having raised with the Beatles. My brother and I just loved and admired them so much! From Twist and shout up to Let it be...
There will not exist such talent and freshness and creativity. They are the Beethoven of this era. Pay attention how they choose the words, the sound of each word, the vocals have a deep vibration. Very musical. Just genious. How much we loved them, and still they give me great joy their songs. Now I'm 73. Imagine, I lived their whole evolution. Thank you!!!

As a matter fact I think it was their last outdoor concert at Kominsky Park in Chicago and was it fantastic !!! a fabulous Beatles live and after that show they announced they were doing no more touring , all their work would be studio release songs !!!! I felt so lucky to see them lie and I’ll remember it forever as a matter of fact when they left the baseball field, they played right at second base and I was between third base and the coaches box they came through that entranceway to leave the field and I got to shake their hands cause I was that’s why I was sitting And I couldn’t believe it. I shake John Paul, George and Ringo as they left the field at Kaminsky Park in Chicago. What a great memory.

    They're the ones that started it all - - - --
in 1963, just after JFK was shot. There was already a trans-Atlantic
"Buzz" about them, and then when they made that first appearance
on the Ed Sullivan Show they became instantly famous that night.
They were the ones who really set off the Rock revolution.
What they did was to separate the "Rock" from the "Roll". This
was Rock music that you DIDN"T dance to. You listened to it.
You appreciated it. The early Beatles made everyone sit up and
take notice. But in 3 short years with "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul"
they started experimenting, going off in new musical directions
with great success, culminating with their masterpiece
"Sgt. Peppers" in 1968. They were really the inspiration that
so many other groups who came after them cited.
But this was the Beatles when everything was still new and even in 2024, at
71 their music sounds as fresh to me as if it was just released yesterday.
Woodstock, the Hippie generation, the Swinging 60s - you can
trace the beginnings back to the. These are the guys responsible for all of it.
    Thank you Beatles.

I miss John and George so much. We are blessed to have Paul and Ringo still with us. But the chemistry of The Beatles can never be replicated again on any level. Those who have witnessed this since the early days know but I think even future generations are with it as well. This discludes the "Paul is Dead" idiots still falling for a hoax that was debunked like 1/2 a century ago.

Nice compilation of songs! They started off with a banger like I Saw her standing there!
Right off the Bat they were exciting and grabbed your attention!
Then they got better and one upped themselves with brilliant ballads like Yesterday and I love her!
And then In My Life and Day Tripper then I Feel Fine! Amazing songs! Then and now!
They were and still remain the best band ever!
What a musical odyssey they took us all on! Never to be repeated! 😮😊
I for one am forever grateful! That lunatic who murdered Lennon didn’t affect his Musical legacy and genius! It’s all intact forever. It’s just sad because it was so senseless and brutal. Lennon didn’t deserve to go out like that but I guess it was his horrid Fate. He even said some nut was going to shoot him one day. He knew he was controversial. But he deserved better and was robbed of 40 years of living. He is definitely missed! I miss you, man!
You said the world was run by insane people and you were right! Look at whats going on now!
Lennon told the truth! And people resent it especially the crazies in charge!

In a film documentary about the Beatles several years ago, I was really impressed with the performance of John Lennon at the concert on the roof of their Apple store in London in 1969. His heart and soul were totally in it as he played in unison with the other three so that the music really flowed.
