I'll be interested to see how the results compare to the Arctic Liquid Freezer III AIO before I get excited.
Tough to compare since the LF3 is a regular IHS coldplate while this is direct die. The LF3 is bigger than the normal lux though but thats because of the fact instead of the radiator being 27mm, the LF3 is 38mm thick. So of course it'll be better.
If you set it up right, this direct die AIO will dumpster any regular AIO. Framechasers used the DD AIO with a 14900k and his cinebench temp results were the AIO was hitting 100c, the DD AIO was 85c and then an full custom loop was 70c. The thing for me will be that if you're considering this and already have a good AIO, you might want to delid it first and see how the temps change doing that before buying the direct die AIO.
@@bigpoppa1234 I think for me being a casual, not wanting to have to delid, etc. Buying an AIO that just does superbly without me having to modify it just makes sense for me.
Yeah, you can tweak even a 14900k to run on say, 220w and get almost as powerful a result with something like 5.4ghz all core with 4.whatever on the e cores, can get lower power with undervolting as well depending on the board.@@Tiltingyousoftly

I ordered mine should be in May 26th the lm+copper IHS wasnt enough.
