Nice to see how the Italian car culture is loved in every part of the World! Greetings from the Belpaese!

Nice content. I regret selling my GTV when the oil ran dry on a roundabout knocking the bottom end for 6. Still have my 159 sw ti owned it 12 years from new. Keep up the good work.
Those early phase 1 GTV V6's are already extremly rare to see as most early models were in 2.0 T-Spark form. Lovely V6 colour, nice wheels.
Looking forward to this progressing, Good luck with it Mate!
I recently spruced up a very similar GTV also in Sargassi Green for a friend's customer. Similar miles, too. Beautiful car in every way especially with the Busso.
Will be following this with interest, great work Neil
Such beautiful cars and the Busso is such a fab engine. The colour is fabulous, thats a proper restoration car there
Save it..... absolutely. They are getting quite thin on the ground and a genuine 40k motor is well worth the effort. Love the V6’s. They sound absolutely great, one of my fave engines. The twin spark had arguably better handling and certainly less toque steer which to be fair wasn’t as bad as the 164. Originally the V6’s were LHD only but a few of us got our heads together and came up with a half decent RHD conversion. It was quite involved but at least converting the headlights was easy enough as they had a small lever inside that you just flicked over. Steering rack were a real pain but removal of a couple of engine mounts and using a porta power got just enough clearance with the engine in situ. Black with tan Momo leather interior was my fave colour combo but red worked well too. Look forward to seeing this rebuilt so will be keeping an eye on the channel. Cheers
Really surprised the engine on the red one isn't buggered after that hard of a crash
thats what we will find out next week.
Brilliant video, looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
Loving the vids Neil!
Thank you Neill as usual for a great video.
Got lovely original restored Alfa Romeo 75 twin spark just restored started project in 2012 just finished car in January this year it's Alfa red and I got Alfa Romeo 33 in Alfa red
Another good save ! Like the green color
Looking forward to this build :D
RIP Melena, But She'll Live On In A New Shell :D
I really need to get working on my 916. It's high miles and had a hard life, but I think they're worth saving. Seems like it's quite easy to get parts for them in the UK, less easy in South Africa.
Great content as always
cheers.
Good project ahead!
Save all the Alfas! :) Looking forward to the journey!
Another great video!!
Thanks for watching,
Definitely a saver, perfect donor car and it solves the issue for the owner. Hopefully the owner wants to keep it in that colour too?
I'd like to see every stage of the work in my comfy quarantine
Definitely worth saving!
Can't wait to see the next one on the strip Down Neil, I think you could do with a bigger work shop to be fair, stay safe in these bad times we are all going through bud and keep the old Alfa's alive. 👍
filmed that one today. should be uploaded next week.
Would of really liked to see the red on the rebuild. Shame. Better colour than the green one. Should be a good rebuild series. Good luck with the swap and rebuild.
Now I’m further along in the build you wouldn’t. Lol
looking forward two it
According to DVLA that's been un-taxed since 2002! So been off the road for 18 years which is quite incredible given the good condition its in.
I've never even checked that. Got to be a record
@@ItaliaAutos It's definitely held up well 👍 Shame about the cracked head. 15 years of warm-freeze, repeat water obviously is a no no 😄😟
@@ItaliaAutos Perhaps it was a way of passing off a dud when it was worth ££££ in 2002, fabricating the immobizer fault to make the crack unnoticed etc etc
Save it pls ,and nice Gta 147 Red in the Back !😀😍💪👍
first person to spot it. thats next weeks video.
@@ItaliaAutos Yessss 😀👍👍👍👍
Actually, you can make an 155 V6 3,0 24v ;) Would be great :)
I know 2 156 v6 with 3.0. 155 Q4 with 3.2 from a gta would be great. Or perhaps a 2.0TB with a bigger turbo etc :)
I would save it only because it is a v6
Tyres are dated 34 week 09 so pretty old
Just subscribed I want to see you work 👍👍
definitely worth saving. interested in you exploring the immobiliser issue in more detail, common problem and occasionally leaves me having to keep turning the key before the car eventually starts, incredibly frustrating. would be good to know which relays you think cause this and why they don't seat too well
Loving the stick on fuel flap cover.....not...
Funny how fashions change.
Was the see through head a feature on these then ? Maybe to adjust the valves without taking the head off ?
A UK 100 car in a very rare colour. Only 100 Phase 1 3.0 were sold here as a market tester
Hey Italiaautos. My 166 has this problem that when I push my foglight (front) switch it, the lights turn on till I release the button. Encountered this yet?
My GTV v6 has failed a head gasket leak test, it’s not noticeable but as the cambelt is due this year, it needs to attended to. Expecting a £2.5k bill. Wasn’t sure if I should fix it or sell the car as ‘in need of repair’ as done 159k miles. Watching your video is making me feel bad for thinking that now. Wonder if v6 with my mileage will appreciate in value too... I’ve got a Giulietta too, decisions decisions
The red one looks like i has had a lot of money spent on it in the past. It is a real shame the blue one has the dents on the rear passenger quarter. Can you detail the relay that was the problem for the immobilizer please? I am looking forward to videos on this project. I bet all the muck under the back is grass cuttings from a verge it was parked next to.
GTV vs FIAT Coupe?
Anyone has experience with both?
I am not to much into Gtv‘s but this one is definitely one you should try to save, since it is nice equipped and has not too much rust. I saved my 240tkm 156 a couple of times to often, since it has mayor rust damage. It ist almost a new car now ;)
New head !
The red car behind is a 147 ?? It looks awesome !!!
155!
What about that lovely 155 in the back?
Wow never seen frost damage like that before 😮 learn something new everyday 👍 I want to get a cheap Alfa what do you suggest? Great videos keep up the good work 👍🇬🇧
GT diesels are super cheap at the moment but watch out for rusty floors.
@@ItaliaAutos thanks I will have a look around great videos 👍👏 keep up the great work. Regards Paul.
What’s the story with the red 155 sat in the corner?
What's the brand of your special beer fridge in the background please?
nope you lost me on that one.
Hi! My GTV 2.0 TS Phase 1 Hesitates on full throttle when cold, runs almost okay when warm. What could be wrong?
Join Patreon and I’ll answer all your technical questions on there. Thanks 😊
@@ItaliaAutos Why not answer here so everyone can see?
I would need a door mirror from the red one! Or did the tree destroy them, as they are not attached to the car.
all striped down by the owner. nothing left on the red one to sell on.
Don't like the colour, will you respray? Also will you do upgrades? Brakes, exhaust suspension Q2
Got to discuss all that with the customer. Red one had lots of upgrades already,
Great and hard project! Thanks for sharing it. Just a comment the steering wheel has been changed, it is from a phase 2 GTV whereas the car is a phase1 (1995-1998)
My gtv V6 ph1 has the same steering wheel, I think v6's were equipped with it from factory.
Hi mate. I was wondering if you do inspections on request? I’m looking at getting a Giulietta and was wondering if you would look at it. Is this something you do?
Hi yes I do inspections best to contact me directly in the week to arrange
Italia Autos Cool, I’ll do that once things get back to normal, if they ever do.
Have you done a video yet on that red Alfa 155 next to it
Nothing yet. I've had it 5 years nearly. One day I'll get time to finish it. Hoping its a nest egg
Italia Autos I once watched an episode of flipping bangers, they tried to do one they changed the cam belt had the wheels done, did some welding only to find more rust and they ended up SCRAPPING it. Without even selling some parts off it I think
@@Busandtrainluvr2k yeah that was well odd, do the cambelt and then scrapped it due to it needing too much welding. They were never going to make it pay from the get go.
Wots the history on the 155
Make 1 good 1.
Being so low miles.....I would've rebuilt the engine with a brand new head.
Alfa Romeo wears down those who don't.
POOR CAR.I HAD A 3.2 V6 2006 GTV.BRILLIANT CAR.
Fancy selling the 155?
Nope. All mine.
Never liked those wheels. Like the colour though.
Same. Alfa usually makes such gorgeous wheels but those I never liked. But worth saving if in good condition. Future value will only go up as people want to return original spec and good condition wheels are gonna be like needle in a haystack.
very little rust ;-)
Take that fake fuel cap off plz 🤮
what a shame its in such a bad shape tobegin with.
can u stop with skviking with your mouth i mean swolov some dont do that anoing. pozitve kritic man
My mates dad had an Alfa Romeo and it actually ran, for 3 weeks. Absolute trash.
