      Karen Derbes insurance does pay for this. I just had it done a while back. However they will not cover it without a hiatal hernia repair most of the time.

    • @TimoiiiYoutube
      @TimoiiiYoutube 4 года назад

      User USEr I use ppis for two reasons.
      1 .They cause acid rebound from quitting for up to 6 months. Which means you still “can reflux”.
      2. I have contact ulcers on my vocal cords from reflux. I was told to continue anti acids until they are healed.
      Ya even if I don’t get off the meds anytime soon, I’m still better off.
      Before I couldn’t control it even with meds.

    doctor left me on nexium and did not recognize adverse events...on it for years and now my life is ruined. ppis inhibit proton pumps EVERYWHERE in my body, not just the stomach. suffer from extreme exhaustion, passing out and insomnia, got off it after 3 years but effects continue. nexium is mitochondrial poison.

    I know I have to get the TIF I'm glad it's not like the other two because I suffered from blotted stomach also and gas and I also vomit when I get really sick so that's the perfect procedure I believe, living with GERD is awful I just got it for the last year now, I never ever had any problems before, this is truly a awful disease .
