Wow, you pointed out the cons of the old procedure doctors wont talk about, well armed now I can seek out the TIF procedure over the older procedures that cause new problems.

Did you have the TIF ? Did you also have a hiatal hernia?

Hi ,do you have the office doctor phon number please give it to me
Donetta Dawdy,
I had the Hiatal hernia repair and the Tiff procedure done on August 24, 2021 and my acid reflux is worse then before the surgery. Did you have acid reflux after your surgery?
So well explained!
Youbare a great teacher and doctor
Why isn’t my Dr giving me this information????? Plain and simple.... he don’t wanna lose a patient.
Time to change Dr!

Ok if you can open someone up can you do the same as tif and not have to wrap the stomic all the way around?
Dr. Barnes, what do you think of the LINX device as a solution?
Dr. Barnes, could you post an update about the so-called TIF 2.0 procedure and how it's different from the original procedure?
Dr. Barnes I had a Hiatal Hernia repair and the Tiff procedure on August 24, 2021 and I have acid reflux really bad. Is this normal? I thought I should be better by now.
Where we can do Tif if we are not from Usa? Any place to go europe or usa? i need experienced hospital about Tif! can some one help...
I need this . Thx
Chelation caused me to have Gerd. I don’t know how. I took out too much vitamins and minerals. Do you know if I will heal ?
I don't think this operation is done in South Africa. Unfortunately I cannot afford going to USA to have it done. Crowdfunding?
What about south america countries like Peru, Chile, Brasil have this operation. The Clinics in Brasil are N°1 in south america.
informatcion doctor i need contact to you doctor thanks
how much for TIF procedure ? I have a hiatal hernia with reflux only real symptoms chronic cough the past 15 years . Lifestyle changes helped some ... i think the TIF is exactly what I need , but I worry about my coughing spasms damaging it .
Darren Gilbert if the tif is done correctly your coughing spasms should end unless you have untreated asthma
I have major couphing but I also have pulmonary fibrosis. How did the tif surgery go for you?? Thank you
I see my Surgeon on 11/4 for the presurgery meeting. having linx done 1 week later
how are u now
There is Stretta method . Less invasive and lower risk of complications. Why is this not as popular?
Because it's not good? It is no longer practiced.
Does most insurance pay for this procedure, and if not, how much does it cost? Is it an outpatient procedure or is a hospital stay required?
Karen Derbes insurance does pay for this. I just had it done a while back. However they will not cover it without a hiatal hernia repair most of the time.
@@TimoiiiRUclips
Did you have also a Hiatal Hernia ? i have a Hiatal Hernia with 2cm, is this surgery give a permanent cure for Hiatal Hernia and GERD ?
Please answer me bro, thank you
User USEr yes I had a hiatal hernia repair.
It seems to have fixed my gerd for the most part. I do still ppi’s tho.
@@TimoiiiRUclips
If this procedure fixed your HH and GERD why you still using PPI ?
Can you please tell me how much cost this procedure ?
Thank you and wish to you a Speedy Recovery .
User USEr I use ppis for two reasons.
1 .They cause acid rebound from quitting for up to 6 months. Which means you still “can reflux”.
2. I have contact ulcers on my vocal cords from reflux. I was told to continue anti acids until they are healed.
Ya even if I don’t get off the meds anytime soon, I’m still better off.
Before I couldn’t control it even with meds.
Can it be done after a Nissen Fundoplication is already present?
How did the Nissin fundoplication surgery go for you? Thank you

Sorry to hear that your Nissin fundoplication surgery was just awful. How are you doing now? Do you cough alot? Thank you
@@brodygoalie yes, because I have allergies. Not due to reflux. I don't have the same level of GERD I had before surgery.
@@mundoreal1536 hi dear
May I ask you a question about your symptoms with gerd please ? I’m suffering with gerd disease since last March with a lot different symptoms sore throat and pain and burning sensation in the chest and neck stiffness pressure in the head and pain in my arms and legs some time feel bloated. Do you the same symptoms as me please replying me I really need help thanks.
doctor left me on nexium and did not recognize adverse events...on it for years and now my life is ruined. ppis inhibit proton pumps EVERYWHERE in my body, not just the stomach. suffer from extreme exhaustion, passing out and insomnia, got off it after 3 years but effects continue. nexium is mitochondrial poison.
I know I have to get the TIF I'm glad it's not like the other two because I suffered from blotted stomach also and gas and I also vomit when I get really sick so that's the perfect procedure I believe, living with GERD is awful I just got it for the last year now, I never ever had any problems before, this is truly a awful disease .
Deven Lee have U done this procedure ?
