Dude same, it just sounds like it fits better than the English dub if you ask me. But both languages are beautiful.
As Someone from spain, have to say that im very happy to hear you guys, they pick up really good voice actors and also make the effort to make the dialogues in old castellano. You could say that its the old spanish from the 15 century. Search the name of the characters, many are spanish word, for example nacimiento its birth.

@@dumah8227 For someone who knows nothing but basic 7th grade spanish, it is so cool to know that they're using a "ye olde" dialect for the spanish as well as the english. These devs are so amazing.
@@Silburific yeah, it feel so good when they put this level of care, i remenber for example the dragons of FF14, that they speak in old english with the "thy", at first it was really hard for me to undestand but even so, i really love it
As a portuguese speaker, it's awesome to see the Romance languages and Iberian Aesthetics being recognized and admired in a game, instead of the traditional Medieval England/Germany aesthetics.

I have played an entire game with subtitles in Portuguese, simply because it occurred to me
Well, it´s more like Castilian/Spainsh and it represents Semana Santa in Sevilla, a very traditional religious festivity in Spain, the aesthetics is Andalusian and the culture is ancestral Spanish culture.
Been playing many games with spanish dubs lately to improve my spanish. And now I'll happily do it with a proper spanish game.
It's sad the majority of spanish dubs in triple A games are deficient. ubisoft games, activision games... all of them have a poor dubs. they make them without spending enough money because spain/latam isn't a priority in the market. So a game well dubbed like this case is very welcome

Comparto lo dicho, en todos los sentidos.
Muchas veces nos picamos mucho los españoles y los latinoamericanos con el doblaje, y al final, es lógico que cada uno prefiera el de su tierra. Yo soy de España y e aprendido a apreciar el doblaje de Latinoamérica también, los dos son buenos, cada uno en su estilo. Simplemente aveces cada uno tiene su momento de gloria, o se le pone mucho más cariño y esfuerzo que de normal
@@dumah8227 totalmente bro, yo de colombia, y creeme hay doblajes en castlleno que me encantan, hasta el punto de que gracias a netflix me he vuelto fan de ver peliculas españolas, y este doblaje a blasphemous le cae de perla, justo empece a jugarlo ayer por primera vez, en ingles esta bien pero ahora veo que le da mas identidad el doblaje, esperar a qie este, que si no estoy mal el 4 de agosto sale material nuevo para el juego y liberan el doblaje creo, saludos!
Yo también soy de Latinoamérica y concuerdo totalmente.
Estos sí son actores de doblaje de alto nivel, no como los que escogieron en su día para Dragon Ball y Dragon Ball Z.
Como latinoamericano y acostumbrado a escuchar el doblaje latino, debo decir que en este juego el doblaje castellano simplemente encaja y suena perfecto, excelente decisión y trabajo de parte de los desarrolladores.
Jugando la versión original en idioma inglés, con imágenes y temas claramente basados en arte y religión de España, lo único que podía pensar era que tenia que jugarlo con voces en Español de España, me alegra finalmente contar con la opción. Ayuda mucho que el juego es igualmente excelente.
Que buen trabajo la voz de Candelaria, soy de Sevilla y ese acento lo reconocería en cualquier sitio

Una maestra me decía que: Con el idioma alemán se hace la guerra, con el francés se hace el amor y con el español se habla con Dios; al juego le faltaba el doblaje en español castellano (en específico el castellano, súper resalto), y se oye muy bien.

eso de hecho es una frase de Diego de Velasquez me parece o algo asi, pero faltan otras lenguas, "el italiano es un lenguaje para hablar con las mujeres, el francés es un lenguaje para hablar con los hombres, pero el español, es un lenguaje para hablar con dios!"
@Alberto La frase originariamente se la atribuyen a veces de forma errónea a Felipe II, pero en realidad la dijo Carlos I, su padre, lo cuál tiene toda su lógica porque aunque Felipe II era muy culto, su dominio de los idiomas aparte del castellano era nefasto. La frase decía así: "A mi caballo le hablo en Alemán, a las mujeres en italiano, a los hombres en francés, y a Dios en español." ***Aunque hay varias versiones de la misma frase similares con pequeñas variaciones.

Lo mismo digo. Yo soy gamer en inglés, todos los videojuegos los juego en inglés (no soy muy fan de doblajes ni traducciones, aunque admiro muchísimo dichas profesiones) Pero este tipo de juegos, con un lore profundo, oscuro, eclesiástico (al menos en su habla), en inglés son increíbles, pero en español es otra onda. Jugaré esto en español cuando salga

Yes!! Playing this game with the spanish dub is the same as playing Sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima with the japanese dub! Now we have the perfect experience!
I love how jolly Candelaria sounds, her attitude would make you want to buy her wares. I was surprised with Escribar and how different it is compared to English. English Escribar' voice is a mix of arrogant, tired but somehow merciful, or a man of the cloth. Spanish Escribar is an intimidating old man, completely confident in his actions and punishment that he'd about to rain down upon you.

Well, the way she speaks and the insistent assuring that you won't get hustled by her makes it obvious that she's an Andaluz Gypsy. I loved every single interaction because she's a very nice addition for the folklore colours in the game.
@@dnor16just came back from a trip to Spain and had a brief brush with the “gypsies” in Granada. I can confirm they have this sass of a conman/woman and petty thief. Also Candelaria is a huge reflection of famous Spanish singer Lola Flores. I love all the big and small references to Spain and Spanish culture in this franchise
Fun fact! Escribar's voice actor is the same as kratos in the spanish dub of the nordic god of war

@@TheCreedEvolution Sí, bueno. Entiendo que lo hayan hecho en su día para que el juego sea más internacional y no tenía problemas con el doblaje en inglés. Pero esto no me lo esperaba y ha sido una noticia estupenda.
If you won’t let me pay for this DLC, which is wholly deserving of it, I’ll just buy Blasphemous on every platform, even if I don’t use them. This level of quality should be rewarded accordingly.

Puedo decir a vosotros, que como Francés, juego en castellano y es un gran placer de escuchar estas hermosas voces que tienen una profundidad muy especial y única. Según yo, la versión ibérica del mundo medieval es verdaderamente interesante

This game is meant to be played with the spanish language enabled, the atmosphere of this game is absolutely perfect for that.
I recently started playing in my Nintendo switch and i love every minute so far!
For me, it's Gémino's part. I can't get over how fitting his voice is: serene and weak, and that raspiness gives a touch of misery that seals his whole imagery. When he introduces himself you can hear how respectul he is towards PO, how calm he is despite the cold, hunger, wounds and days (possibly weeks) spent in that tortuous state, how factual he is when saying he's nothing more than a shell of his past self and how quietly he accepts his fate.
Not to say how great the art and animation is; his hands (and his whole body, hidden beneath that frozen iron) are shaking from so much cold, how his eye is struggling to remain open... everything makes an outstanding combination imo

As a Mexican gamer I used to hate Spanish Dubs on many games. But this.... As I said on a previous video.... Is gold. Their voices are BEAUTIFUL! They sound so much better than the English ones. The passion on their voices!!!! You guys are awesome!

Being familiar with Jordi Boixadera's work he is very much cast against type. He dubbed, among others, Leonidas in 300, Maximus in Gladiator and Daniel Craig in his James Bond movies.

This makes me so happy! As a spanish speaking player I loved the original English voices, but these new Spanish voices just feel so much more fitting for a game with Spanish culture inspirations. I loved the casting too! Esdras and Candelaria were my favourite.

Alfonso Vallés is the voice in Spanish for Solid Snake in MGS1, he did an amazing and incredible job back then and here looks like no exception. Can't wait to play it!

Just got the game on steam while waiting for my order to go through watching videos on it. I'm in love with this game and I'm totally gonna play with the Spanish audio. It seems more authentic to the spirit of this game to me.

If you're into point & click or Lovecraftian atmosphere, check out The Last Door. The pixel art is a lot coarser, but it's really well written and the music is chilling. I only found out Blasphemous was made by GameKitchen after I bought and started the game. Seeing the logo made me go from "seriously interested" to "already loving it."
