    I love watching a craftsman who has mastered his trade work. It's like being a witness to the creation of a work of art. Great video and a beautiful helmet but I gotta know if you could have done the helmet with real horns?

    • @NilsBeardfoot
      @NilsBeardfoot  Год назад

      Thank you very much :) yes real horn are possible too. Mostelikly for this I would have drilled hole on the horns and sewn it with leather strengthend on the helmet. Real horns make the helmet very heavy though and dangerous to wear on LARP combat.

    Would it be possible to make a drinking horn out of leather in the same style as yours? Of course the interior could require some kind of coat to keep dry

    • @NilsBeardfoot

      Could be possibly, bees wax would work as coat in the I side (got a video on drinking bottles), but I would recommend you sewing it with thread not leather straps like these horns
