I think sans glowy eye responds to one of the 7 human traits that he's feeling at the time. Light blue and yellow, those are the colours of his eye. Patience and Justice, he's delivering justice by killing you in the genocide route, and he's patient, willing to stay in a never ending loop of time as well as willing to do nothing at the end of the final battle, just standing there so you can never take your turn. I think the eye glows depending on the trait he feels. We know the determination is the strongest of the 7 traits, so it's harder for monsters to have it, but maybe the others, because they're weaker, could be used by monsters, like sans eye.
and undyne the undying has an eye that shoots a lazer it could probably be red signifying determination because she is a very determined person and as seen in the true lab monsters melt when exposed to determination like how undyne melts

Honestly my love of Sans is the main reason why I've never done the genocide run. I mean I've watched a few people play it just to watch them break down, but there's no way I would ever actually do it. It doesn't even have anything to do with how hard Sans' boss battle is. I just like Sans that much.

@@moltengears7483 no, it’s hinted that Papyrus can use gaster blasters. I don’t think a “special attack” is actually a thing in the game, it’s just that Papyrus wants to sound cool. Sans’ “special attack” (or so he says it is) is literally doing nothing and stalling until the player gives up.
(This is a theory of mine, I copy/pasted it from a "What are your headcanons" post that I replied to about 2 months ago) Unlike humans and their human food, monster food gets absorbed directly into the SOUL. When you hit Sans, his SOUL cracks as he nears death, and the remaining ketchup that didn't get completely absorbed gets released, splattering on the inside of his skull and torso. For this to happen, unlike every other monster you encounter, he probably was drinking ketchup moments before you entered the hallway. So there we go! An explanation for why Sans "bleeds"!
Undertale likes to trick people. After all, it tricks you into thinking that when they say "Name the fallen human", they mean the character you're playing as, rather than the first human. Especially with where the name shows up. How is this any different? It's supposed to LOOK like blood, but there is NO logical explanation as to how it could be blood. It would make absolutely no sense for it to be. Your personal opinions don't act as evidence. You can't just say "It IS blood because I say so" and expect it to stand as a valid point.
Graysongdl Actually, the human soul is red. The slash of "blood" is actually the attack's stain. Just like you die when a monster kills you. Frisk is red, yet monsters have white attacks that represent their soul.

Everyone thinks Sans can teleport, which is understandable but I have a better idea. Usually the player will want to continue foward and that is where the end of the room takes you, wherever you want to go. Sans may understand this and he can choose to travel anywhere at anytime just by going to the end of the room and wanting to appear somewhere else. That's how he gets everywhere and as long as he is off-screen, he can do this.

Guys... I have a theory It's called "Sans is a monster" theory: For his blue and yellow eye, I have a theory. We know monsters aren't supposed to have determination. But what about other traits? If I remember correctly: Blue:Patience Yellow:Justice Blue and yellow eye. For the blood: Skeletons don't bleed but we don't know if Monster Skeletons bleed. Maybe it's ketchup though. Gaster blasters were MAYBE recycled and kept their names KR: Monsters can have special abilities like changing your soul's color. Why is he strong, so fast but has only 1HP? Because nature is nice. If you have only 1hp, you'll be faster or stronger It's like flies. They are weak but they can fly. Well I know this is confusing and seems like bullshit but I can't really explain

This is kinda related, but it still always confused me: It was never stated that he had 1 hp. The reason why he dies so easily is because of a combination of the player’s high level and his 1 defense. If defense was supposed to signify HP, there would be a lot of contradictions, mainly being the other monsters.
It might not be stated he has 1 health but I feel like the idea of him having one health, especially if he’s aware of it, makes him fighting you feel more like a sacrifice than him getting caught off guard

Sure, he's pretty mysterious, but he's super open about how mysterious he is. Now Papyrus on the other hand... That dude's got issues. He needs some more focus. First off, I'd like to go ahead and say he's most likely the favorite character in the Under universe itself. Even the creator himself, Annoying Dog, loves Papyrus more then everyone else. The fandom loves Sans, but the in wold characters love Papyrus. I'd also like to add Flowey's connection to Papyrus. Clearly, Flowey spent the most time with Papyrus while experimenting with DT, to the point where he was the only one who knew what Papyrus' favorite food is. So of course, Flowey would know if he was dangerous or anything, right? And clearly Flowey's not scared of him so- Nope. Purs Pacifist boss fight, before Flowey takes the monster souls, he ties everyone up with two vines. Well, almost anyone. Papyrus gets tied up with 4. Why? Because Papyrus is a strong monster, stronger then Sans, stronger then any of them. I feel like this needs to be brought up in an UnderLab video, because there's a lot to talk about when it comes to canon Papyrus and his issues.
While there's a lot we don't know about Papyrus and he very well could have untapped potential, I find it difficult to believe he is more capable than Sans, let alone the rest of the main cast. I mean, he isn't even aware of the timeline stuff occurring. That, and he seems just too oblivious to most things to simply be acting the part.
Mighty Jetters Actually, Papyrus makes quite a few references to timeline things. While not as obvious as Sans, it's clear he knows that you've died and reset quite a few times.
Okay but, the steam sprite for the real knife, the weapon that you're supposed to use against sans, is not only colored in red bit also has a red outline and a red aura around it, is it possible that the red thing that comes out of sans has something to do with that?

Sans used to be my second favourite character. Then I had a deep think about him and realised how fucking awesome he was. Also, I feel sorry for Papyrus. He's developed, but not nearly as much development as sans. We also know Papyrus has potential badassery. *HE IMPLIES HE CAN USE FREAKING GASTER BLASTERS IN A GENOCIDE RUN UNTIL YOU SPARE HIM THEN DATE HIM*. The annoying dog steals it. I think this represents Toby not wanting Papyrus to be better than Sans, holding him back. If Toby admits Papyrus can indeed use gaster blasters then Sans and Papyrus will be tied as my favourite characters.
I would just like to say: Right after the scene where Sans stops time and talks to you about the flowers in Grillby's, if you talk to the plant monster (or was it the drunk rabbit?), he says something like this: "Ah Sans, always disappearing and reappearing whenever he wants, it's so annoying." I somehow completely dodged your first question as well. I'm being a real lazybones! It could be Frisk's blood, but it appears even if you take no hits during the fight... how would Frisk be bleeding?
Underlab Well, the first time they attack, they miss and the second time we see Sans ''bleeding.'' Maybe they accidentally stabbed themselves during the first hit and when they attack again, their blood splashes onto Sans (more precisely in his mouth, which would make sense (or rather, it would make Sans XD) as to why there's blood in his mouth but not on his neck bone) and the blood that's already on their knife (or any other weapon) stains Sans' hoodie. Why he's holding his wound is not because he's bleeding, just because he's hurt. And also, if the blood is splashed, then why is there no blood anywhere else on Sans? Well, just because it's really hard to pixelate splashed blood.
Underlab I'd even go so far as to say that's why Asgore looks so chocked when he sees Frisk, because they're on the edge of death. (I know, some people said that it doesn't make sense because Sans kills the player multiple times and that never happens, but the thing is, it's not a magic bone attack or a Gaster Blaster blast (?) it's a stab wound and stab wound don't kill instantly, though they do in the end.) And maybe that's also the reason we're able to see Chara in the first place. Cuz, remember, not everyone is dead. Sparing a few enemies doesn't matter, as long as enough monsters are killed in each area and all the bosses are dead too. But there's still Napstablook, who can't die. There's also Alphys and all the monsters that were evacuated. I think that we're able to see Chara because our determination, as a player, to see the end is enough to stay alive a few more moments. To me, Chara is the last thing we see before Frisk dies, which would kinda make sense since Chara is dead, and we're dying as we meet them. Anyways, that's my theory on this.
Wow. I know WAAAAAY more about Sans than you do. Geez, there's so much more information you could of included in your video. Like how Papyrus mentions that Sans is into science, and most likely has a scientific back ground, we can also look to Papyrus to know that skeletons can feel based on how Papyrus reacted to the shock of his puzzle and one of the phone calls to him in Hot Land were he explains a time he put limes on his eyes (Trying to mimic the cucumber eye masks he's seen on TV). There is also the way Sans doesn't exactly move his legs while dodging your attack in the genocide rout, and how slow his dodging is, yet you still miss him. And then how Sans's glowing eye only appears at the end and the start of the battle, and it glows yellow and cyan(Or aqua blue, it's my favorite color), justice and patience. Papyrus and Undyne also have a conversation about Sans "napping over 7 hours a night". According to some google results, 10 - 17 year olds need to sleep seven to nine hours, while 20 year olds need just 7 hours. I say this because we can sort of get an age range for Sans. But who knows, Sans just sleeping over seven hours could be a coincidence, so I'll just leave that theory there. Anyway, you are missing a lot of things on Sans. I didn't even scratch the surface on what I found on Sans, just saying next time you go to make a video about everything on a character to get all of the actual facts. And if there's not enough time to make a huge video like this then just say "some" instead of "everything". P.S If I am annoying you, just know that I just like things to be accurate. I've been studying Sans for a while and now my patience has been worn thin by those who aren't looking at all the facts that could easily explain curtain behaviors of Sans. People have so many questions on him, but they are too lazy to search the game thoroughly enough to get those answers and end up coming up with very sad and delusional theories. It's just like with Gaster, that sprite that people find in that weird room isn't Gaster, I know this because it has no implication it's Gaster. First off, the sprite is called spr_mysteryman, not anything says '"Gaster". Secondly, the "Redacted Sprite"(Which people are calling it) is more Gaster than anything because it actually speaks in wingdings. We know that there's such thing as Gaster because if you enter that name in the beginning of the game it starts the game over and says some things in wingdings(I'm not going to spell it out because we've all heard it enough times). It's so annoying all the damn Gaster art. Especially because people think spr_mysteryman is a damn skeleton just because of his hands (even though we haven't seen Sans's nor Papyrus's actual hands. There covered in gloves for Asgores sakes!). The head of the creature doesn't even resemble anything that is Sans and Papyrus! (Except for the eyes). I wouldn't be surprised if spr_mysteryman was a skeleton but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a skeleton either. Though I think spr_mysteryman is closer to the river man than anything else(yes the river man is indeed a 'man' according to it's sprite name spr_riverman). Who knows? Maybe when the River Man warns you of the man from another world, and the man that speaks in hands, he could be talking about himself! And I got all that from SPRITE NAMES. When are people going to analyze the information Toby gives us? Heck maybe we would have all these mysteries solve if people actually looked at the game as a whole, if they added all the little bits and pieces the game has we could put a full picture on whats going on. ...I'm sorry if I was having a bit of a rage there, it's just all that...I want to solve these mysteries of Undertale, starting with Sans, and I've found that I have to look into the whole game just to find information on him. On the way of discovering Sans's secrets, I have stumbled on a whole bunch of others. And it really annoys me that no one else has looked into what I have looked into, and it also sucks because I can't share what I have found out with all of RUclips, how what I have found could help us all figure out Undertale. @@moltengears7483 no, it’s hinted that Papyrus can use gaster blasters. I don’t think a “special attack” is actually a thing in the game, it’s just that Papyrus wants to sound cool. Sans’ “special attack” (or so he says it is) is literally doing nothing and stalling until the player gives up.

When you hit Sans, his SOUL cracks as he nears death, and the remaining ketchup that didn't get completely absorbed gets released, splattering on the inside of his skull and torso. For this to happen, unlike every other monster you encounter, he probably was drinking ketchup moments before you entered the hallway. So there we go! An explanation for why Sans "bleeds"!

Undertale likes to trick people. After all, it tricks you into thinking that when they say "Name the fallen human", they mean the character you're playing as, rather than the first human. Especially with where the name shows up.
How is this any different? It's supposed to LOOK like blood, but there is NO logical explanation as to how it could be blood. It would make absolutely no sense for it to be. Your personal opinions don't act as evidence. You can't just say "It IS blood because I say so" and expect it to stand as a valid point.
Graysongdl Actually, the human soul is red. The slash of "blood" is actually the attack's stain. Just like you die when a monster kills you. Frisk is red, yet monsters have white attacks that represent their soul.

Everyone thinks Sans can teleport, which is understandable but I have a better idea. Usually the player will want to continue foward and that is where the end of the room takes you, wherever you want to go. Sans may understand this and he can choose to travel anywhere at anytime just by going to the end of the room and wanting to appear somewhere else. That's how he gets everywhere and as long as he is off-screen, he can do this.

This is kinda related, but it still always confused me: It was never stated that he had 1 hp.
The reason why he dies so easily is because of a combination of the player’s high level and his 1 defense. If defense was supposed to signify HP, there would be a lot of contradictions, mainly being the other monsters.
It might not be stated he has 1 health but I feel like the idea of him having one health, especially if he’s aware of it, makes him fighting you feel more like a sacrifice than him getting caught off guard

Sans (in a way) kinda is the easiest enemy, he only has 1 HP and can only deal 1 DAMAGE, you just don't have the 'temporary invincibility' after you get hit by one of his attacks.

I'd also like to add Flowey's connection to Papyrus. Clearly, Flowey spent the most time with Papyrus while experimenting with DT, to the point where he was the only one who knew what Papyrus' favorite food is. So of course, Flowey would know if he was dangerous or anything, right? And clearly Flowey's not scared of him so- Nope. Purs Pacifist boss fight, before Flowey takes the monster souls, he ties everyone up with two vines. Well, almost anyone. Papyrus gets tied up with 4. Why? Because Papyrus is a strong monster, stronger then Sans, stronger then any of them.
I feel like this needs to be brought up in an UnderLab video, because there's a lot to talk about when it comes to canon Papyrus and his issues.

While there's a lot we don't know about Papyrus and he very well could have untapped potential, I find it difficult to believe he is more capable than Sans, let alone the rest of the main cast. I mean, he isn't even aware of the timeline stuff occurring. That, and he seems just too oblivious to most things to simply be acting the part.

Then I had a deep think about him and realised how fucking awesome he was.
Also, I feel sorry for Papyrus. He's developed, but not nearly as much development as sans. We also know Papyrus has potential badassery. *HE IMPLIES HE CAN USE FREAKING GASTER BLASTERS IN A GENOCIDE RUN UNTIL YOU SPARE HIM THEN DATE HIM*. The annoying dog steals it. I think this represents Toby not wanting Papyrus to be better than Sans, holding him back. If Toby admits Papyrus can indeed use gaster blasters then Sans and Papyrus will be tied as my favourite characters.

I somehow completely dodged your first question as well. I'm being a real lazybones! It could be Frisk's blood, but it appears even if you take no hits during the fight... how would Frisk be bleeding?
Underlab Well, the first time they attack, they miss and the second time we see Sans ''bleeding.'' Maybe they accidentally stabbed themselves during the first hit and when they attack again, their blood splashes onto Sans (more precisely in his mouth, which would make sense (or rather, it would make Sans XD) as to why there's blood in his mouth but not on his neck bone) and the blood that's already on their knife (or any other weapon) stains Sans' hoodie. Why he's holding his wound is not because he's bleeding, just because he's hurt. And also, if the blood is splashed, then why is there no blood anywhere else on Sans? Well, just because it's really hard to pixelate splashed blood.
Underlab I'd even go so far as to say that's why Asgore looks so chocked when he sees Frisk, because they're on the edge of death. (I know, some people said that it doesn't make sense because Sans kills the player multiple times and that never happens, but the thing is, it's not a magic bone attack or a Gaster Blaster blast (?) it's a stab wound and stab wound don't kill instantly, though they do in the end.) And maybe that's also the reason we're able to see Chara in the first place. Cuz, remember, not everyone is dead. Sparing a few enemies doesn't matter, as long as enough monsters are killed in each area and all the bosses are dead too. But there's still Napstablook, who can't die. There's also Alphys and all the monsters that were evacuated. I think that we're able to see Chara because our determination, as a player, to see the end is enough to stay alive a few more moments. To me, Chara is the last thing we see before Frisk dies, which would kinda make sense since Chara is dead, and we're dying as we meet them. Anyways, that's my theory on this.

Wow. I know WAAAAAY more about Sans than you do. Geez, there's so much more information you could of included in your video. Like how Papyrus mentions that Sans is into science, and most likely has a scientific back ground, we can also look to Papyrus to know that skeletons can feel based on how Papyrus reacted to the shock of his puzzle and one of the phone calls to him in Hot Land were he explains a time he put limes on his eyes (Trying to mimic the cucumber eye masks he's seen on TV). There is also the way Sans doesn't exactly move his legs while dodging your attack in the genocide rout, and how slow his dodging is, yet you still miss him. And then how Sans's glowing eye only appears at the end and the start of the battle, and it glows yellow and cyan(Or aqua blue, it's my favorite color), justice and patience. Papyrus and Undyne also have a conversation about Sans "napping over 7 hours a night". According to some google results, 10 - 17 year olds need to sleep seven to nine hours, while 20 year olds need just 7 hours. I say this because we can sort of get an age range for Sans. But who knows, Sans just sleeping over seven hours could be a coincidence, so I'll just leave that theory there. Anyway, you are missing a lot of things on Sans. I didn't even scratch the surface on what I found on Sans, just saying next time you go to make a video about everything on a character to get all of the actual facts. And if there's not enough time to make a huge video like this then just say "some" instead of "everything".

I've been studying Sans for a while and now my patience has been worn thin by those who aren't looking at all the facts that could easily explain curtain behaviors of Sans. People have so many questions on him, but they are too lazy to search the game thoroughly enough to get those answers and end up coming up with very sad and delusional theories. It's just like with Gaster, that sprite that people find in that weird room isn't Gaster, I know this because it has no implication it's Gaster. First off, the sprite is called spr_mysteryman, not anything says '"Gaster". Secondly, the "Redacted Sprite"(Which people are calling it) is more Gaster than anything because it actually speaks in wingdings. We know that there's such thing as Gaster because if you enter that name in the beginning of the game it starts the game over and says some things in wingdings(I'm not going to spell it out because we've all heard it enough times). It's so annoying all the damn Gaster art. Especially because people think spr_mysteryman is a damn skeleton just because of his hands (even though we haven't seen Sans's nor Papyrus's actual hands. There covered in gloves for Asgores sakes!). The head of the creature doesn't even resemble anything that is Sans and Papyrus! (Except for the eyes). I wouldn't be surprised if spr_mysteryman was a skeleton but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a skeleton either. Though I think spr_mysteryman is closer to the river man than anything else(yes the river man is indeed a 'man' according to it's sprite name spr_riverman). Who knows? Maybe when the River Man warns you of the man from another world, and the man that speaks in hands, he could be talking about himself! And I got all that from SPRITE NAMES. When are people going to analyze the information Toby gives us? Heck maybe we would have all these mysteries solve if people actually looked at the game as a whole, if they added all the little bits and pieces the game has we could put a full picture on whats going on. ...I'm sorry if I was having a bit of a rage there, it's just all that...I want to solve these mysteries of Undertale, starting with Sans, and I've found that I have to look into the whole game just to find information on him. On the way of discovering Sans's secrets, I have stumbled on a whole bunch of others. And it really annoys me that no one else has looked into what I have looked into, and it also sucks because I can't share what I have found out with all of RUclips, how what I have found could help us all figure out Undertale. Of course, like Alphys, when I get into something I don't just swim in it I dive as deep as I can. I want to now everything, but not every bodies like that. Welp anyway, I hope I have enlightened you and your not to mad at me for being a huge jerk and raging on how people annoy me when I'm obviously most probably annoying you...
Yeah I could of left out how I think I'm annoying people and stuff. But since these videos are apparently hard to make for Underlab I shouldn't be complaining in the first place. Videos are hard to make, I should of remembered that from my own experiences. But thanks for listening! It still counts as something. There is so mush information in the game!
