I have never seen something like this.... Congratulations on your great work. I will try to do something similar in the future. thanks for the inspiration 🤟🏻
Thanks so much for this, I'm running Redbrand Hideout and originally intended to do it with a big poster style mat until I watched your video. I've spent all day today cutting tiles and bricks, constructing them all and mod podging them. Looking forward to assembling it tomorrow for a first look before painting. Put $5 in to your drive thru rpg plans as well, well worth the money. If my set turns out even half as good as yours I'll be very happy. I hope you channel grows, your work is excellent!
I love this episode Garman! I'm fixing to move on to the next one! This is where our group is currently playing so I'm trying to get the tiles made in time to use them!
Awesome! I’m glad the video could help! Hope it goes well! Best advice I can give for churning out a boat ton in a short time is to assembly line it, hopefully you’ve got someone who can help, it makes it so much more bearable!
Hold Up! We need to recognize this guys amazing taste in Music “SNARKY PUPPY IS THE FREAKING BOMB MY DUDE” Instantly subscribed because 1) D&D Terrain and 2) Snarky Puppy. Hell ya! 😎
I use the same concept. I'm on the 3rd rendition of method, I've made a bunch of walls separate and started including 1/4&1/2 round tiles for classic castle look.
Just found the channel, I know this is an old video but I gotta ask, where do you find your foam? The only thing I can find is the pink 1 inch thick sheets. I'd kill for some the nice thick green stuff to sculpt things a bit easier
Doing great man! I like the lower wall scheme. Definitely easier on all players for points of view but also so much easier to store!! That’s a point I feel like you didn’t stress enough but is SO important to us crafters but also our wives 😂😂 since we already have so much to store anyways lol
I know i'm a little late to the party, but first of all, great video, and secondly, do you not use magnets tp hold your tiles together? Do you not find them moving constantly as players move around the map?
Quite a few…. I don’t have the numbers anymore, BUT I will say, if you make too many it’s not like you can’t get future use out of them! I also took some artistic liberties with the layout when I ran it for my players, so I don’t think the tiles match PERFECTLY to the adventure, but it gets the general point across.
So annoying that I can't get ½'' insulation foam here in Québec (I guess it's too cold, nobody uses less than 1'' or more). 1'' is too thick for making such tiles and I don't have a Proxxon to cut it to ½ inch. With an xacto knife you really can't cut straight enough to make it ½'' thick.
I really like these lower profile walls, I can't believe I never thought of it before seeing this! Thank you! 😀
No, Thank you!
0:12 .......ok thats cool................I need to make one of these!
You absolutely should! And thank you!
Sooooo Awesome looking!! You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your video. Enjoyed it very much.👍👍
2.5d just like DM Scotty! Very useful.

Thank you! I hope I could help out and let me know how your project goes!

You sir are crazy. Mad respect. You have some lucky players.
Haha thank you!
Another great episode! Can't wait to see these tiles in action!
Another great comment! thanks for the continued support!
Awesome job and I love your work but I gotta ask, why not separate the walls from the floor tiles and then just use magnets?
Awesome amazing thank you so much

Mind telling me where you got that awesome transparent ruler? It looks so handy!

That’s a great idea!
Thanks Garmin.

Thank you so much! Storing is always an issue at this point, but it's awesome to find something that works!
This is why I printed Wyloch's tiles so that you get a short wall and can use it to clip on things like doors and such.
Yeah, I definitely want to invest in a 3D printer!
The Ready Board is specifically for us crafters. The paper is just for protection during shipment. The foam takes texture rollers pretty good too.
Yes, exactly!
Wow
👍
Nice work!
Thank you!
Good video
Thank you!

How many of each style tile? I want to make this for my redbrand hideout.

texture cheap foam sheet before cutting strips will save time with tin foil ball or a sheet of tin foil over a rolling pin
SO distracted by the pb M&Ms!!!!

Are the Drivethru RPG plans no longer free?
I believe that the plans should be listed on there as pay what you want, but I'll have to double check if it's not working for you
They are listed as pay what you want, but for some reason you can’t checkout when you set it to $0.00. It’s not a big deal, just weird.
@@GeneBrodeJr That is a little weird, but I'll check it out and see what changes I can make. Thanks for the heads up about it!
Or you could just buy Epoch Tiles. They're modular, two-sided, and amazing for building whatever dungeon or terrain you need
You absolutely could! However that’s a wee bit out of my price range.
My players burnt down the red brand hideout instead of going through the dungeon
