You are my new favorite crafting channel!
Thank you so much!!
Many moons ago before I found out about XPS foam, I made this hideout out of cardboard. I have been meaning to revisit this adventure with some new friends, so I may be doing these same crafts of this series. Plus, it doesn't hurt to just have these tiles as modular pieces for any adventure! Great stuff!
Thank you! This is always a great one to come back to! Let me know how the foam works out for you over the cardboard!
I really like the texture you achieved with the dirt. It really sells that they're cave tiles, rather than just brown dungeon tiles. Thanks for sharing.
I hope it was helpful! A few little details go a long way
Fantastic episode!
Thanks so much!
Nice work
Thank you so much!
Lovely series! I prefer putting a tupperware down for applying sand and flock. Apply the glue, place a few tiles depending on the size of your container inside and then dump the sand over them. It makes collecting the access sand a little easier for me but that is all preference of course.
Thank you! And I’ll have to try that!
Subscribed my man! Love watching crafting videos for d&d and wargaming... and I know how hard it is to grow a youtube channel as I am attempting it myself.
Awesome, thank you so much for the support! Everyone that enjoys the channel is a huge help. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see in particular, I'm always open to suggestions for new content!
@@StorycraftSociety If you have any projects coming up that you can use some water effects in that would be cool.
I think something like that could definitely happen! A fountain or basin of some sort could fit really well into a lot of settings, I'll keep that in mind!
really enjoying these vids they are a great help thanks, keep em coming
I'm glad you're getting something from them! There are plenty more coming your way!
I put my sand mix in an old spice container / shaker. Makes it heaps easier to apply.
Awesome.
Thanks!
👈 new subscriber , loving the content.
Thank you!
great shirt! 😋 (Edit: the soccer shirt that is)
Thank you!
Great stuff...I’m preparing to take my group into the Redbrand Hideout and looking for tile ideas.
Awesome! I hope it helped out! Let me know how it goes
Why use the aluminum foil ball to texture the tile if you're just going to glue dirt on it anyway?
So you could probably not do it, that’s just how I’ve seen it done and therefore done it myself forever. There’s a complicated explanation about layering and how even beneath the dirt layer having the texture translates through the dirt. But the main reason I do it is, sometimes the dirt doesn’t take, but more likely in time, with use, the dirt will begin to wear off, so I want something textured underneath because I’m lazy and I don’t wanna have to go back and glue dirt on them again.
