Congress tart was first mentioned by Karl when he was on XFM radio with Ricky and Steve. He said that he couldn't find them in london and that he loves them.
I dont think hes lazy per-say (he sure does a crap load of tiling) but activities have to have a point. Ex lacing shoes, he uses velcro to save the bother.
I have read Karl's 7 wonders book, and i can say with whole hearted honesty it was the most enjoyable read ever... and i really dont like reading. In the prologue they talk about the sausage incident and im glad it was on this video because i so wanted it to be true xD
Women can choose whatever they want. If they don't cook then they have to get their little booties out there and mow the lawn, install dishwasher, fix the pipes, clean the gutters, etc. Of course they can do it but physically demanding jobs are usually easier for men. It's just a way to divide up the housework. To be honest I don't really care how people divide it up it's just a suggestion from my experience which certainly doesn't apply to everyone. Or you can just pay someone to do it :P
Job was meant as chore, I used the wrong word and it's apparently been taken out of context. Yes, I believe it's a womens responsibility with exceptions of course.
I put some plates on the electric stove to heat them up once. I must have done it wrong because they broke. I hardly ever had to cook again. Sorry Erica. The sausage idea is good though.
I'm a women and I think it's a women's job to get good at cooking but a man should be able to cook basic food when shes not home. She made the food and he couldn't even heat it up lol. I know actual men like this it's amazing how lazy they are. If my husband left me instructions for something to do that was handy man related I would just do it. Most men nowadays can cook though, probably because a lot of ladies aren't stepping up to the plate :P
I thought I made myself pretty clear that I was being sarcastic, but apparently not clear enough. I do NOT think that men and women should be divided in their opportunities in life. Did you just read my comment without looking at what I replied at or something?
university of toronto in canada. I wanted to go to uni in the UK but it's just too expensive. I might check it out if I go back to school for a masters though. Did you grad in EE or something?
i always wondered what sort of woman would it take to put up with a guy like Karl with his peculiar ways. But now i know from that email she knows exactly how to handle life with him lol
Ricky's wheeze when Karl says he didn't heat up the quiche gets me every time
Lol same xD
I swear he coughed up a lung
Suzanne must be a saint.
I love the way Steve interrupts himself to say "that's not cooking, Karl"
Wouldn't it be funny if we ever heard Suzanne's side of the stories Karl tells them about. That would be hilarious.
They'd probably make more sense
*suzanne
ULOIRAR Who do you work for? The spelling police 👮♂️?
Who’s Susan?
@@johnisntmyrealname81 Karl's girlfriend
Sausages in toaster, I almost died laughing 😂
Congress tart was first mentioned by Karl when he was on XFM radio with Ricky and Steve. He said that he couldn't find them in london and that he loves them.
Nice of Suzanne to write out so many instructions; that's sweet. :)
Turn it off!! Panickin’ an’ that
😂😂😂
Ricky laughing at 3:20 is the best thing
I dont think hes lazy per-say (he sure does a crap load of tiling) but activities have to have a point. Ex lacing shoes, he uses velcro to save the bother.
Karl is REALLY lucky to have Suzanne.
This segment geuinely has more laughs than any TV show or film, it builds and builds until "Sausages in the toaster". How can someone be this funny!
i'm absolutely pissin myself this it quality
"I love how she has to tell him where the dressing is! You know, just in case he's reaching for bleach!"
I can see Karl's logic. I tried to make cheese on toast in a toaster by lying the toaster on its side. It got stuck and set the smoke alarm off.
you must be as daft as him then
11 years on, let's hope you've learned a little bit more
Sausages in the toaster?! what?! jaysus...
they put their fingers in hahahaa
I had a terrible cramp while watching this and I laughed so much It fucking hurt, but the more it hurt the more I laughed xD
Brilliant, never heard this one, laughed my arse off!
I might have heated the quiche, but I'm not fucking around with salad.
I had to pause the video at "ever since i put sausages in the toaster" 🤣
I love all 3 of them, together they are great, but without Karl pretty much all of the best moments of the show wouldn't exist
I know I'm over 4000x the average lifespan of a mayfly late but yeah, I agree.
However...
Square tins. Should be interesting for meatballs
"Turn it off!", panickin' an' that...
Sausages in the toaster. :')
Lol ain't heard this in years. Thanks!
Awwww.....it's so nice how much she cares about him tho, especially when Ricky and Steve are so horrible :P
I have read Karl's 7 wonders book, and i can say with whole hearted honesty it was the most enjoyable read ever... and i really dont like reading. In the prologue they talk about the sausage incident and im glad it was on this video because i so wanted it to be true xD
The noise at 2:29
O_O
hahahha I love this, he just keeps adding to it
Susanne comes home to a smoky kitchen. Karl is standing next to a toaster with sausages sticking out it.
This is amazing 😄😄😄
That would be the kind of cooking book I would totally buy. Susan should write it asap.
Awesome username!
in tears
To be fair, without Ricky's hilarious laugh and reactions to what Karl says, it wouldn't be as funny either.
“Eat.”
Sausages in the toaster xD xD xD

I do Engineering at a UK uni, but not electrical.
How did you find it?
they put their fingers in 😂
i think the reason karl is the way he is is because he loves suzanne alot
i think it started in like 2001.
I've seen pictures of that, you just need one with bigger spaces haha.
This show depends on all 3 of em :D They are all funny imo. :P
Haha, I'd go for the pay someone to do it option! :P
That salad sounds delicious
Where did you graduate from? (please say a UK uni)
Poor Suzanne
cant believe there are 11 other congresstarts out there
HAHAHAHA!!! "in case he's reaching for bleach"

Karl is 100% correct, cooking/preparing food is very boring and labour intensive.
Is that you, Mel?
sausages in the toaster?
BUUUUURRRRRRN
I hate absolutely cooked sausages/hotdogs in the toaster.
