  • Today is a bit different, I need motivation to edit this upcoming repair video, and I might as well answer some questions while I do it. Jump on in and chat with me about repairs, electronics, and whatever else is on your mind.

I was so surprised to see my name in the title. Thanks so much for analyzing my video it helps me see some stuff to work on as I’m not as experienced as you. Yea I’m usually careful with the screens bec I broke one in the past😅. As for not disconnecting the battery the screen cables are ether in the way or I’m lazy and forget lol. Also I liked watching you edit. I always put in the clips and then write the scrip and then after that I edit the video around my words. If you have time I would love if you could do this again for my video in the future. I was cringing a little from my self but that’s always to be expected lol. As for my camera I use my iPhone 11. I used to edit on my pc but it was having issues. So I edited on my iPad for the first time but idk why adobe rush doesn’t want to export when it was 4k footage. Also I don’t like wearing gloves bec it restricts my hand movement but I do wear gloves when I’m dealing with broken glass. All in all thanks so much.

I hope I was clear, you did absolutely everything correctly! And I honestly love the close up shots, it's way closer than I can (currently) get with my bigger camera. It sounds like we edit in really similar ways too, my script always ends up closer to a quarter of the actual video length. Disconnecting the battery is pretty important, but only sometimes. I honestly do most iPhone XR and 11 with the battery still connected, as long as I'm confident the device is off and I don't touch the wrong spots it's perfectly safe. I think you're a great technician and I'm happy I could feature you in some way on my channel! Keep it up buddy!
