While filming with Simon during Vlogmas, we snuck in this little bonus video where I got to ride his incredible horse, Splash. This isn’t just any horse-Splash has competed at 5*, jumps 1.40m classes, and takes on the iconic Hickstead Derby! Naturally, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a little sit on him.
Simon, being the amazing coach he is, gave me a flatwork lesson to show me some fancy moves. Splash is known for being quite "hot" on the flat, it took me a while to figure out his buttons, but once I did, I had the most incredible ride.

What a superb video -- Splashy is the BOMB -- what a fantastic horse and Simon is beyond adorable. I cannot get enough of him doing the voice for Splashy -- I could listen to that all day long!! Well ridden Ms Elphick -- your flying changes were very impressive. As just a little aside, Splashy looks a lot like Wilma :) Riding these amazing horses is such good experience for you and clearly a great deal of fun :)
