Thank you for another magnificent & gorgeous video story! Suzhou is so beautiful and I can see how you became a representative product of that community, artistry, tradition, and charm. You carry the best of Suzhou with you wherever you go.
Incredible video. How did you guys learn to make these videos? I just think they're so creative and make me feel like I'm watching a professional documentary. Keep up the great work!! I can relate to those fireworks(whatever they are) early in the morning. When I first moved to Shenyang they went off every weekend and so early. It was annoying. My whole community must have gotten married that year there were so many.
Charles, Paul here. Thanks for the passionate feedback. Your documentary compliment is the very best I could receive - it's always been my dream. Mostly self taught though I did study photography in school. Honestly the ultimate reason Jing convinced me to start this channel with her was the realization that RUclips could be an outlet for that passion... rather than waiting around like "notice me Nat Geo!" we can be putting meaningful content out into the world right now, and even just 300~ views feels so rewarding, especially when I hear stories like yours. So thank you. Do you live in Shenyang now, btw? And where from? Very curious about what it's like as a foreigner living full time in Mainland.
@@PaulChelmisFilms Keep doing what you are doing, it's only a matter of time before you will have thousands of views. I just think they are excellent. I am still in Shenyang. My wife is from here. I am in my fifth year here. It was a huge adjustment coming from Rhode Island in America. I think we have 1 million people in my state. There are 8-10 million people in Shenyang. It's ok here. It's grown on me. It is so safe, the cost of living is low, public transit is so convenient and I'm a teacher here so the pay is pretty good too. My son has been here since he was 3. He likes it here. It might be difficult to move back now, I don't know. I hope you guys stick around awhile longer in China, I'm enjoying every video!
@@charlescunningham2097 WOW yes that’s a huge change from RI! Good for you, it’s not easy to completely flip your life upside down like that. I have similar goals.. Are you teaching thru a program like TEFL by chance?
@@PaulChelmisFilms Yes, I had to get a TEFL certification and have a bachelor's degree before I could teach here. It's been quite an experience. I wish you guys continued success with the channel! I'm excited to see every video! How long are you guys in China for? I forgot if you mentioned it. If by any chance you head north to Shenyang, let me know!! I'll be here.
Hey Nikola, Paul here, thank you! Your guesses are all correct - this was mostly on an A7rV, and yep, shot in slog3. I just peeked your page too, and wow, super rich colors, and exceptionally smooth handheld shots! Your drone quality is strong too, which one do you have? Also curious, do you just travel to a place like Serbia and make a mini doc as a personal project, or are you commissioned?
These keep getting better and better. So beautiful!
Thank you! 😇

@@charlescunningham2097 absolutely will. We’re already back in the US, but no doubt will be back soon. The north has yet to be explored!
It’s soooo beautiful! I can’t wait to visit one day with you ❤
I also can't wait for that day!!
Great cinematic video, great color grading 👏. May I guess about equipment? Do you have Sony camera? Did you film in sLog?

what do the pork moon cakes taste like? they looked incredible
It’s got that special sweetness in the stuffing, and the wrap is just so flaky and full of aroma…
