In today's video I show you simple breakfast recipe - puttu and kadala.
Oil - 3 tbs
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies- 2 nos
Curry Leaves
Rice flour
Coconut
oil - 3 tbs
Big onion- 2 nos
green chilli - 1 nos
ginger & Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 3 tbs
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbs
Coconut - 1/2 Cup
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Kadala - 6 Cups
Salt( according to taste )
TOMATO - 2nos
Coconut milk - 2 Cups
Oil - 1 tbs
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2 nos
Curry Leaves
Small onion- 4 - 5 nos

In that steamer you can easily make puttu, take a small cup or pudding bowl, add coconut and the puttupodi press it and invert to the steamer thattu ( like manappam, how kids do it) in a steamer thattu you can make 5-6 puttu at a time . All of the same size

In Trissur side, we call it uthirputtu. We don’t need to put the mixture in a container. It can be put directly into the steamer. We always make it like that without a kutti.

So mam use cheyyunna pole oru steamer il putt fillings oru steel cup il vach ath demold cheyth aa shape le putt aanu Njan undakkar ullath. At a time aavasyam ulla athrem quantity um kittum same time interesting um aanu. Just have a try on it. U will really like it.
