@@TimSpangler-rd6vs Of course it happens. Catholics often talk about protestantism in private conversations or in videos - if they are Catholic apologists. But I've never heard a priest do an entire homily on protestantism. That is not why we go to Mass. We go to receive Christ, and if a priest - instead of discussing the scripture readings for the day and how we can apply lessons from it to our lives - spent his time trash talking and misrepresenting protestantism, the parishioners would certainly let him know afterward that this is not what we came for.

The misunderstanding of the sabbath you have learned from Ellen white. God set the sabbath aside for rest, NOT for worship. Worship was at the temple and sacrifices were offered everyday. Even during Jesus’ ministry, and beyond the destruction of the temple in 70AD, what happened in synagogue was not worship. For the Jews, sacrifice constituted worship.

The ceremonial ordinances contain commandments for the observance of various holy days-the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles (Lev. 23). In verse 17, 'which are a shadow', this phrase is key in understanding verse 16. Compare the use of the word “shadow” in Heb. 8:5 and 10:1. The Jewish ceremonies were shadows cast by heavenly realities. Christ’s life, ministry, and kingdom are the reality. The portrayal of this in the ceremonial law was only the shadow. And all rules regarding the ceremonial days where a shadow of a reality to come and in contrast with the shadow, Jesus is the fullness of reality. It is to Him that every type points, and in Him that every symbol reaches its fullness. In finding Him, Christians turn their backs upon the typical, shadowy outlines, walking now in the fullness of the divine Presence. The lack of intellectual honesty evident in his (pastor) preaching... He try to mislead common people… Did Luther bring the Bible to the common people? It is widely believed that, to facilitate the lay reading of Scripture, Luther was first to translate the Bible into German. He was not (Contrary to popular belief, Luther’s German translation was not the first in that language, as there were thirty-six previous translations). The first Bible in the German vernacular was produced in the eight century at the monastery of Monse. (Luther’s German Bible: A Historical Presentation Together with a Collection of Sources by Johann Michael Reu ) By the fifteenth century, there were 36,000 German manuscript bibles in circulation, and a complete printed Bible in the German vernacular appeared in 1529-five years before Luther’s translation was published. (The Gutenberg Bible is an edition of the Latin Vulgate printed in the 1450s by Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz, in present-day Germany.) In short, the Catholic Church made Scripture accessible to laymen long before Luther and the Reformation did. The Catholic Church has always supported the translation of Scripture into the vernacular, because it is charged by Christ to spread the Gospel throughout the world. It has opposed only faulty vernacular translations by heretics who used them to spread their errors. there was a Gothic translation of the Bible in the fourth century. See James Hitchcock, History of the Catholic Church (San Francisco: Ignatius Press, 2012) The first effort to publish a vernacular version of the Scriptures was commissioned by Pope St. Damasus I (AD 366-383), who employed his brilliant yet irascible secretary St. Jerome (AD 342-420) to accomplish the task. Jerome learned Greek and Hebrew to properly translate the word of God into the vernacular Latin (vulgate - the official Bible of the Catholic church) seventh-century Whitby monk Caedmon and St. Bede in the eighth century produced English translations of the Bible. (Where We Got the Bible, 104, by Graham)
Some of your numbers are inflated, but more true than most. There were 13 bible editions in German; 9 in high German and 4 in low German. The other German publications are probably psalters or gospels.

Christ, the head of the body, rules the church (Colossians 1:18). God has entrusted revelation to the saints (Jude 3). God alone is infallible (Numbers 23:19; Acts 17:11). Scripture alone is the Word of God (John 10:35; 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21; Mark 7:1-13). Christ alone is the Redeemer, for He alone suffered and died for sin (1 Peter 1:18,19). Christ Jesus is the one mediator to whom we can entrust all our cares and petitions (1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:13,14; 1 Peter 5:7). Justification is by faith alone (Romans 3:28). God justifies ungodly sinners who believe (Romans 4:5). Good works are the result of salvation, not the cause (Ephesians 2:8-10). Grace is a free gift (Romans 11:6). Salvation is attained by grace through faith apart from works (Ephesians 2:10). The believer can know that he or she has eternal life by the Word of God and the testimony of the Holy Spirit who indwells believers(1 John 5:13; Romans 8:16). There is salvation in no one but the Lord Jesus Christ, “for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Jordan Peterson had a great explanation for Protestants when he compares confession to therapy and confessing to a therapist and how the healing that takes place from that is real and measurable. I think it’s also important to point out that when this practice began, it was the first therapy of its kind at a time when we didn’t have psychologists. I also think it’s very telling how efficacious it is for spiritual warfare.

Luther removed the OT Deutero-Canonical books due to the fact that he was unable to refute a couple of them. Since it would make no sense to only remove a couple, as that would be obvious cherry picking, he decided to remove them all. Some of the NT Deutero-Canonical books he wanted to remove as well, but he was unable to. What's interesting, if you read Luther's dairy, he explained that he would have fights with the devil on the privy, and that the devil would tell him that a Church was not needed, the Papacy was not needed, the Liturgy needed to be changed, etc. He claimed that he would argue against every point the devil made; though admitted that he felt embarrassed and ashamed, as he was not able to properly defend against the devil and was always outsmarted. He felt his colleagues would make fun of him and would not have such issue. Interestingly enough, every point the devil made to him, he pushed forward and began to preach and teach. That alone should tell one about Luther's doctrines and their origins. He also hated the Mass, as during the consecration of the Holy Eucharist, he would have convulsions. This is what led to the Papal Bull Quo Primum in order to safeguard the Latin Liturgy. ---Segment taken from Traditio (below)--- 1. Luther rejected the sacramental nature of Matrimony. "There is no difference between the married state and whoredom." (Denifle, page 290) 2. He sanctioned adultery, expressed his approval of divorce, polygamy, concubinage. 3. His "sola fides" (Faith alone) and "sola scriptura" (Scripture alone) was the basis for him to deny guilt for sin. His aim was to establish a "guilt-free" philosophy. (The New Jersey Catholic News, No. 40, Summer 1999, p. 2) A curious letter from Martin Luther to his mother has been preserved among the many and valuable manuscripts in the library belonging to the Dominican Convent of Santa Maria sopra Minerva at Rome. This lady wrote and asked him whether she ought to change her religion and adopt his new persuasion. He replied: "No, remain a Catholic, for I will neither deceive nor betray my mother." What better refutation of Luther's doctrine could there be than such a reply, which conscience wrung from his filial affection?

"3 things our protestant friends will not have without the catholic church" 1: The sacred scripture 2: The doctrine of trinity 3: The doctrine of Hypostatic union short canon history The Bible is a Catholic book. The Magisterium of the Church has the authority to determine the Bible canon. In AD -382 Pope Damasus-I At the First Council of Rome, the first complete canon was promulgated ... All 73 books (46 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament) are included in today's Bible. Pope Damasus declared that not a book should be added to this canon, nor should a book be taken away from it. Council of Hippo (AD - 393) Reaffirmed (state again strongly) 73 books in the Bible. Council of Carthage - Reaffimed the declarations of the Council of Rome in AD - 382 and the Council of Hippo in AD -393. In AD - 419 the 4th Council of Carthage confirmed all the decisions of the 3rd Council of Carthage. The Council of Florence (AD - 1442) reaffirmed the canon. Council of Trent AD-1546 Reaffirmed the canon. St. Jerome's Bible (Latin Vulgate) is officially announced once again. The Purpose of the Council was to counter the false doctrines caused by Protestant heresies. *British Bible society* and Robert Haldane (not Calvin or Zwingli or Luther) was responsible for removing 7 books from the Protestant Bible. Under Haldane's leadership, in 1821, a movement began against the British Bible Society demanding that funds not be given to Bible societies that were printing the Deutero Canon. The resolution was passed in 1822, which means that it has been only 200 years since Protestant churches started using the 66-book Bible. In the Heidelberg Disputation (AD1518) and Theses - 17 and 35, Luther quotes from the book of wisdom, Sirach ( Deutero Canon) for his arguments. Martin Luther debated with Catholic theologian Johann Eck in AD-1519 about the doctrine of purgatory... Luther's Arguments are Debunked... With that moment Luther took a stand the book of Maccabees was not part of the Canon ... (Jewish Canon was Right) Luther who rejected the canon of Septuagint rejected classified Epistle to the Hebrews(as it teaches about the priesthood -Hebrew 13:17), James( as it teaches that there is a reward for man's good works, James 2:24) , Jude, 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, and the Revelation of John as disputed( The Book of Revelation It is not useful to understand Christ, it does not have the work of the Holy Spirit). The question is But why are these books still included in Protestant Bibles? Some Protestants argue that the Catholic Church established the canon at the Council of Trent. !!! So how did the Deuterocanon appear in Martin Luther's and other Protestant Bibles? Doesn't it sound strange...!!! Huldrch Zwingli published the Bible in German in 1531, Martin Luther in 1534(German), and John Calvin in 1560 (English)All these included 73 books. In AD -1611 the king James version of the Bible was released ... and it had 73 books. The 7 books of the Old Testament were included under the name Deuterocanon....Interestingly, many references were used from these for the New Testament. After AD-1885 the Deutero Canon books were removed from king James Bible... We don’t reply because it’s a dumb statement. Even the pastor in the video said that Luther had many faults. One of the good things he has done is rediscover and explain to common people that you are saved by grace through faith and not by works. He translated the bible to German, although he wasn’t the only one to give scripture to common people.

The pastor mentions church history but ignores the Patristic Fathers (1st-8th centuries). The people in the audience should study the Church Fathers to discover the truths of Catholicism.

I'm a convert. I've never heard any priest or deacons claim that Protestants are going to Hell but Protestants will scream that Catholics are going to Hell. My family isn't Catholic. I respect and love them but my cousin will argue about these false arguments and claim that we follow them. I finally told him that "When you go and study with RCIA for a year then come and tell me which study is false then I'll listen but if you are looking at false stories and trying to twist things to suit your religion I'll refuse to listen" he and I started talking over Facebook last month. It's been two years since that argument. Pray for us. 🙏
Ben, I was thinking the same thing throughout his entire sermon...it's not like he can't find the official teachings in a very inexpensive copy of the catechism. The down side is that it would force him to speak about something else- like, oh, I don't know...maybe the Resurrection on Easter??? Maybe? I read through the comments and think there was only one other person who mentioned the catechism. Angela, one of the many things I love about Catholicism is that they do not canonize people to hell- only heaven as saints. The Catholic teaching on who is going to hell is that only God knows, because only God knows what is in their heart the final moments of their life on earth.
@@paulmarkowski9794 Yes and we would not want a pastor talking about the Resurrection at Easter.... Worth pointing out that the Church is careful to make sure a Saint is a Saint before they say they are.
There is not actually any evidence at all that Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the door. I believe even Luther said he didn't remember what he did with it other than sending it to a couple of friends.
“The devil will attack the true religion which is Catholicism more than he would attack other counterfeits” VERY nicely said and SO very true ! I have never seen any other church get as attacked as the Catholic Church does which is why I know (apart from many other things) that this is the ONE TRUE church . Satan wouldn’t go for counterfeits as he’s the one who created them , he would obviously attack what’s true to God the most
Hmmmn I disagree. satan is out to destroy any belief in God and any believer in God. So all church bodies whether roman Catholic or denominational are under attack by satan .

@Maria_Camila0221 Both are dying for the faith in Southwestern Asia, the Middle East, and all over Africa. And both are fooled into being divisive in the West, with many leaders falling to moral failure in both. So the attacks are internal and external, are across the globe, and applicable to the whole of the Body of Christ - defined as ALL who believe, repent, and follow Jesus in His full divinity as a Person of the Trinity.
Time stamp 1.38, spot on Brother; but it sounds good and fits this man's agenda. He is speaking falsehood. Most Protestants only hear a caricature of what The One Holy and Apostolic Church teaches and believes, from ill-informed preachers like this. I ask protestants that I debate with to get themselves a Catechism of the Catholic Church or read it on-line ( Free of charge) then we can start with facts and progress from there.
Jesus also said that what so ever we do to the least of my people so you do into me! And those that care for those people will be those that are welcome into heaven and those that don’t will not! This are works aren’t they? Of course we also know that we absolutely need God’s grace. But this works are a proper response on our part to his grace and love, because it is how w he asks us to show our love to him. November 1st is a Holy Day of Obligation because of the sacredness of these feast. The tripartite feast is following A) Celebrate the fight against Evil (why Catholic Churches have gargoyles? A- to scare away demons.) B) Celebrate the Victors, the Saints. C) Celebrate everyone else, lost loved ones who died since the last November 2nd. It is very beautiful, people swear these are demonic practices, but are us celebrating spiritual warfare. Remember Day of the Dead should be on the 2nd, but the larger Holiday is the 1st. People getting Catholic Holidays wrong is not a Church problem, it is a them problem. Sincerely in Xto (Christo) Mike B. B. From Philly, P.A. U.S.A.

The tradition, beauty, quietness, and reverence of Catholicism feels sincere and right. Plus, if you want to make judgements and cast stones and call Catholic practices weird, protestants should look at some of their own practices. Having electric guitars and rock bands as part of their worship is just bizarre in my mind. Plus I'm not so sure on their teachings about the rapture and speaking in tongues. Im pretty sure that speaking in many tongues interpretation was a little off. I believe it meant people who speak different languages can pray together. The ceremonial law was completed at the cross, and as for the moral law, it is eternal and perfect (Rom. 14:1; Eph. 2:15).

Did Luther bring the Bible to the common people?
It is widely believed that, to facilitate the lay reading of Scripture, Luther was first to translate the Bible into German. He was not (Contrary to popular belief, Luther’s German translation was not the first in that language, as there were thirty-six previous translations).
The first Bible in the German vernacular was produced in the eight century at the monastery of Monse. (Luther’s German Bible: A Historical Presentation Together with a Collection of Sources by Johann Michael Reu )
By the fifteenth century, there were 36,000 German manuscript bibles in circulation, and a complete printed Bible in the German vernacular appeared in 1529-five years before Luther’s translation was published.
(The Gutenberg Bible is an edition of the Latin Vulgate printed in the 1450s by Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz, in present-day Germany.)
In short, the Catholic Church made Scripture accessible to laymen long before Luther and the Reformation did.
See James Hitchcock, History of the Catholic Church (San Francisco: Ignatius Press, 2012)
The first effort to publish a vernacular version of the Scriptures was commissioned by Pope St. Damasus I (AD 366-383), who employed his brilliant yet irascible secretary St. Jerome (AD 342-420) to accomplish the task. Jerome learned Greek and Hebrew to properly translate the word of God into the vernacular Latin (vulgate - the official Bible of the Catholic church)
seventh-century Whitby monk Caedmon and St.

It's the fault of protestants that I am a Catholic. When I started to see holes and problems within the protestant church I asked questions and no one had any answers, all they could say was well God is a mystery and we can't know God's way. This works for some things but not all things. The problem with authority is one that no one could settle for me until I became a Catholic. Jesus left 12 men to run the Church. Those 12 men led others to do the same thing they were taught. Obedience to Jesus Christ should be the most important thing Christians do and as a protestant, you can just leave and go start another church if you disagree with something in the bible or your church. Jesus wanted us to all be one. Jesus also promised us that the church HE started, the gates of hell would never prevail against it and to this day the Catholic Church is still here even though satan has thrown everything at it to try to destroy the Church. There is no other church that can claim that.
Amen.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
First of all, you can't blame Protestants for your decisions, because you would be doing the same thing of Adan blaming Eva. Secondly, Do you pretend to ignore the shameful problems of the Roman Catholic Church in all it history? for example, what do you think of Roman Catholic Church of germany? Third, Catholic is a adjective, that means Universality, for that reason is not only about Rome, if not all Christendom, so Orthodox, Protestants and Romans are Catholic. Fourth, you need to understand that the only important is to follow Apostolic doctrine, and about this, Rome has been fallen.

Obviously you have NO idea of what verse Catholics quote to "prove it means "universal"!!
Acts 9:31-- The words "throughout all".
Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
31* The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace. It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and with the consolation of the holy Spirit it grew in numbers. Peter Heals Aeneas at Lydda. 32As Peter was passing through every region, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda.
READ THAT AGAIN!!! Let's take out the words " throughout all" and install the name "Catholic".

Does that makes sense?? If it meant "universal, why is there ONLY three countries mentioned??? NO mentions of Egypt, Spain, Italy, Rome, etc!!
What does that first sentence say? The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace.

Imagine if you will, a man walks into a bakery and speaks to the head baker about the bread he makes. The man tells the baker that he has been using the wrong ingredients for the past 1500 years to make his bread. The man then tells the baker that he has the correct ingredients after reading the recipe that the baker created. 2000+ years of church history and still has some errors that the common believer in the roman Catholic church can not say anything against!
@@brucewmclaughlin9072when Christ told Peter the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church He meant it. The warnings of false shepherds warned against those who would take believers away from the Church. However, trusting the Lord to preserve His bride is not something catholics have issues with. The church is the pillar and bulwark of truth.
You are therefore burdened with the task of showing proof that Christ lied to Peter and how exactly hell prevailed. There were no Protestant churches prior to the Catholic Church. St Ignatius of Antioch gave the Church the name of Catholic to distinguish her from the heresies of his day claiming to be Christian. He was a disciple of St. Polycarp who was a disciple of John who wrote Revelations and the gospel of John. Martin Luther affirmed in his theses the doctrine of indulgences. 1. Jesus did not lie to anyone .
2. your interpretation of Peter being more than what scripture tells us is tempered by the concept that the roman Catholic church has placed upon Peter
There were no Protestant churches prior to the Catholic Church.
No there were not protestant churches however there were factions with in the church that caused divisions.
St Ignatius of Antioch gave the Church the name of Catholic to distinguish her from the heresies of his day claiming to be Christian.
I have no problem with the word Catholic as long as it is not tied to roman / orthodox/denomination in which all three have differences of belief.
Martin Luther affirmed in his theses the doctrine of indulgences.
Oh well that must make it true? I can not find anywhere in contextual scripture where this lie is found.
His issue was selling them. Martin Luther carried many away from the fold and created one of his own.
A believer in Christ is a believer in Christ and to say someone founded another church ( impossible as there is only one church ) is wrong.

By the authority of God's written word not by a church that claims to be the one true church.
By their fruits they shall be known.
Yes .

Believers in Christ rebel against lies and that happens in any church body on this planet. "We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you" (Col. 1:3 NKJ). If you want your prayers answered, you should pray to God, the Father, using the name of Jesus (His good standing).

20 And God spoke all these words, saying,
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a graven image, (NO IMAGES!!)
or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth;
5 you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Spouting scripture and understanding scripture are very different things. Perhaps, someday, you will be able to do both. @@mitchellosmer1293
Luther did not take the books out, he separated and put them in the back, but the London or British Bible Society, in the 1800s took them out because the people were becoming Catholic after reading them.
Edit: Jesus handed the keys to Peter as Jewish kings would pass down authority to their second in command. This is why Peter and those who followed him are the head of the church militant, the earthly church. And NO the pope isn’t the highest authority lmao, the pope is a man. Christ is the Head of the church both in heaven and earth. And WTH is he talking about when he says the pope can overwrite scripture 🤦🏻♀️ what a liar
Actually Luther didn’t nail anything to a door. He did write a letter but there was no dramatic nailing of demands.
Luther agreed with the Eucharist and Mary and the full bible 🤷🏻♀️
Amen brother. I seriously have to wonder if these people say these things out of ignorance, arrogance, or malice. It takes only a little bit of research to get these things right
There is so much lies in the protestant preacher, for he is making a lot of false statements. Satan is the father of lier and now we hear in this pastor's talk. Very sad to hear how someone who confuse the truth with lies
They always give the argument of "vain repetition." However their arguments have to be considered vain repetition in some way since they're all horrible!
Protestants trying to explain the reformation/church history, is like benedict arnold explaining his reasons for treason....😂
Liar, false teacher and poor historian. May God bless him .
Remember on Easter when Catholics talk about other denominations at mass? Oh yeah never. Of all times he picks Easter to do this speech
Ah I got confirmed this past easter aswell!! confirmation siblingssss
And then they clappe. Smh
---Segment taken from Traditio (below)---
1. Luther rejected the sacramental nature of Matrimony. "There is no difference between the married state and whoredom." (Denifle, page 290)
A curious letter from Martin Luther to his mother has been preserved among the many and valuable manuscripts in the library belonging to the Dominican Convent of Santa Maria sopra Minerva at Rome. This lady wrote and asked him whether she ought to change her religion and adopt his new persuasion. He replied: "No, remain a Catholic, for I will neither deceive nor betray my mother." What better refutation of Luther's doctrine could there be than such a reply, which conscience wrung from his filial affection?
Everything he is saying is for one reason; to scare his congregation into doubling down to give him more money.
Yup…..that is his bu$ine$$

Correct. Two lungs of Christianity
Awesome video man! God bless you. Love to see your work getting great traction!
Ah yes, after 2000+ years only HIS Protestant sect has the bible right. If that's not the epitome of arrogance and pride I don't know what is.
"3 things our protestant friends will not have without the catholic church"
1: The sacred scripture
2: The doctrine of trinity
3: The doctrine of Hypostatic union
short canon history
The Bible is a Catholic book.
*British Bible society* and
Robert Haldane (not Calvin or Zwingli or Luther) was responsible for removing 7 books from the Protestant Bible.
Under Haldane's leadership, in 1821, a movement began against the British Bible Society demanding that funds not be given to Bible societies that were printing the Deutero Canon. The resolution was passed in 1822,
which means that it has been only 200 years since Protestant churches started using the 66-book Bible.
(Jewish Canon was Right)
Luther who rejected the canon of Septuagint rejected classified Epistle to the Hebrews(as it teaches about the priesthood -Hebrew 13:17), James( as it teaches that there is a reward for man's good works, James 2:24) , Jude, 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, and the Revelation of John as disputed( The Book of Revelation It is not useful to understand Christ, it does not have the work of the Holy Spirit).

“Form scripture to their beliefs” is a great analogy!
Why all the Religions like Mormon , Baptist ,Born Again, JEJOVAS WITNESS, SEVENTH DAY ADVINTIST AND Many more ,,,, they are critisized / attacking our Catholic Church ????? They have been critisized our Catholic Faith many , many. Many years didnt know that The Catholic Churh was established JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.... Im proud to be a CATHOLIC FOREVER AMEN !!
The church existed for 400 years before the Bible as we know it was put together by Holy Mother Church. The Bible came out of the church, the church did not come out of the Bible. He profaned our Blessed Mother - 😡
He has a timeline of the Catholic Church!! Shouldn’t that be enough for Protestants to question where their religion came from? Can’t they see they made Martin Luther their lord and savior.
Not anymore than some Catholics make Peter who never was alive at the time the RCC started! Papacy began in 400 and he died in First century! There were no popes in first 400 years!
They literally have no response to this.
People should NEVER be dumped into one basket because they have non-catholic beliefs.
There is only one church. The church of Jesus. Anyone that is not born again by the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ is Not his.
Romans 8:9
Why do u guys treat the pope like Jesus ??
We don’t reply because it’s a dumb statement. Even the pastor in the video said that Luther had many faults. One of the good things he has done is rediscover and explain to common people that you are saved by grace through faith and not by works. He translated the bible to German, although he wasn’t the only one to give scripture to common people.
I am more listening than watching and this pastor sounds like a South Park character
Few things:
- Welcome home!
- Your responses are excellent, especially for a new Catholic.
- The timeline he did up is a better rebuke of Protestantism than anything I can think of.
- Why do you look like you're played by Casey Affleck wearing Ben Affleck's Argo beard?
The pastor mentions church history but ignores the Patristic Fathers (1st-8th centuries). The people in the audience should study the Church Fathers to discover the truths of Catholicism.
Here are some truths:
FACTS:
Christ NEVER taught that Peter is a pope.
Christ NEVER taught that Mary will go to heaven.
Christ NEVER taught that Mary is a mediator/intecessor.
Christ NEVER taught that Mary never sinned.
Christ NEVER taught that Mary remained virgin.

Saw your channel on my thread… ✨God bless you brother🙏
I'm a convert. I've never heard any priest or deacons claim that Protestants are going to Hell but Protestants will scream that Catholics are going to Hell. My family isn't Catholic. I respect and love them but my cousin will argue about these false arguments and claim that we follow them. I finally told him that "When you go and study with RCIA for a year then come and tell me which study is false then I'll listen but if you are looking at false stories and trying to twist things to suit your religion I'll refuse to listen" he and I started talking over Facebook last month. It's been two years since that argument. Pray for us. 🙏
Just get him a copy of the Catechism and ask him which paragraphs he disagrees with. Then ask him if he has read the notes on that paragraph.
@@BensWorkshop thanks I'll do that. A copy of the Catechism. Can't argue with that.☺️
@@angelalong6740 There can be no argument that the teaching is Catholic if it is in the Catechism.

Dork!
Unfortunately, the enemy is attacking Protestants and Catholics alike, and he’s even convinced us all to fight each other instead of fighting him. I love my Catholic brothers and sisters who confess Jesus Christ, God the Son, as Lord and Savior.
@@humblewatchman1673 unfortunately he’s attacking Catholics A LOT more , and there’s a reason for that
@Maria_Camila0221 Both are dying for the faith in Southwestern Asia, the Middle East, and all over Africa.
Continue what you are doing, brother. 🙏🏼

All Souls Day 11/2, to pray for the souls in purgatory. 11/1 All Saints Day we honor All the Saints in heaven.

Day of the Dead is just a regional expression of the Catholic Feast of #Allhallowstide: Halloween, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day.
November 1st is a Holy Day of Obligation because of the sacredness of these feast.
The tripartite feast is following
A) Celebrate the fight against Evil (why Catholic Churches have gargoyles? A- to scare away demons.)
B) Celebrate the Victors, the Saints.

Still amazed at how many Pastors boldly claim these anti-Catholic messages without doing research from Catholicism. Are they not scared on the warnings in scripture regarding teachers?
