This is the first game I’ve ever gone to in person and we came out with a W in OT to earn us a playoff birth. Could not have asked for a better game to go to

What this win meant for the 49ers cannot be overstated. This win, how they refused to lighten up AT ALL despite being 17 points down, the sheer relentlessness of every 49er on the field, is what DEFINED this 2021 49er team and propelled them deep into the playoffs with a special confidence that nothing would stop them. What a great season. An historic one for the 49ers. (And of course, for the Rams, too.)

Seahawks fan here. Happy for the niners they definitely earned a spot in the playoffs. All teams in NFC West showed once again why it’s the toughest division in the NFL. Jaguars and Lions had great upsets, today was just a great day for football fans the playoff race was so great this year even though my Seahawks weren’t apart of it. Good luck to the teams that made the playoffs 🍻🍻🤝
The Seahawks actually were a part of it. By upsetting the cards you stopped them from winning the division and shaking up the playoff picture.

Crazy fact: this is the first time under McVay that the Rams have lost after leading at halftime. That just makes this win even more special for the 49ers. With no help from the Falcons, they just went out there and got it done on their own with a crazy comeback victory.

Jennings is making a name for himself, finally a great trio of young receivers. He’s doing what Lynch expected Jalen Hurd to do

And Deebo’s doing what Kyle expected Hurd to do. It was Jalen that was meant to play that WR-RB hybrid role considering that he excelled at RB but his size was more of a curse than a gift. 1.) Because RBs his size are used specifically as a power back… and 2.) Because it’s already tough on the body to constantly run into D Linemen and LBs all day… but included is the fact that guys his size rarely if ever go down with the initial contact, so that doubles or triples the amount of hits every play. WRs get hit much less and by much smaller defenders.
I was actually just thinking about if there’s any chance they’d ever give him a shot again. Remember, Jimmie Ward’s career started out the same way.

If you don't remember the "Catch" game , I do. Joe Montana threw 3 INTs in that game. Neither Montana nor Young were always great, but they were when they had to be. I have seen that from Jimmy this season.
49ers won because Kupp is a garbage reciever who needs to be released Kupp can't make plays when it matters.

The more research I do on this Jennings guy the more I realize this is kind of the norm for him in his life, on and off the field. A couple of amazing examples I learned about him....6 years ago his family was in debt to a loan shark and the day the debt was due he killed the loan shark. Also, the next year he was faced with the choice of marrying Megan Rapinoe or not. He chose not to. This guy comes up big when it matters moist

If the 49ers win the NFC Championship vs the Rams and win the Super Bowl, this game will be the most important game of all the 2021-2022 season.

I agree with that. To beat Rams again, they need to run the ball at least 30 times to eat up the clock and keep Rams high power offense on the sideline as much as possible

In my mind Debo is the MVP of the League. He was almost with Kupp in terms of receiving for the first half of the season. Then we needed him at HB... which he did at a high level. He has literally carried the offense on his back.

That Wk 14 Saints-49ers game was the best game of the NFL in 2019. Even better than this game. One of the ALL TIME historic 49er games. Kudos to the Saints for playing their hearts out and providing an historic challenge. What a game that was. Never to be forgotten.

This game will go down in history as one of the best Niners games ever! My heart was beating in the 4th quarter lol. Down 17-0 and I thought my Niners were going to lose but then they come back and won it in overtime. What a game for sure. Ambry Thomas deserves Mvp of this game with that interception in overtime. Great game niners. Next sunday we face the cowboys. Go Niners.
I've been loving Ambry's development the last few weeks but I'd give MVP to Samuel. Mitchell and Jennings were big time in spots as well. Thomas just capped off a great game full of moxy delivered by Jimmy G w that broken thumb. Made me nervous and amazed the whole game. Nervous in the first half; amazed in the second and OT.

As Ambry Thomas did get the game ending interception, gotta thank who got us there. jauan Jennings, Deebo samuels, Brandon Ayuik, and Elijah Mitchell def stepped up to the plate and swung home runs that second half. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy when Thomas got drafted because we def needed a new young corner to fill in and he will def be that guy.

I still remember the game when Terrell Owens cought the game winning td in the endzone while getting sandwiched by 2 guys and i couldne believe he held onto it kuz he was dropping balls all game that day. The older I get the more I reflect. I’m so appreciative to have had that moment with my friends, yelling and carrying on like we were little kids. There’s so many negative things in the world today, it was so fun for 3 hours to enjoy great food, great drinks, great friends, and a great win!

They’ll lose first round
Earl Mitchell 100% took the souls of the Rams defense in the 3rd quarter. That allowed everything to open up a little bit which gave Jimmy just enough space in his windows to hit some very clutch throws later on in the game.
Went from 6-10 to in the playoffs, we showed up this season. Go niners! ❤️💛

Loyalty has time to build up with the culture! In Lost Angeles that's what happened with a teams absence in the city for 3 decades and yesterday was the result of those circumstances! As 49ers fan this game was a great showing of resilience shoutout Jajuan Jennings. I went to the niners game vs rams on Monday night in November and I live and from DC but one of the best experiences of my life.

As a Raven who watched my team give up cause it was too cold outside and because we can’t get in FG range for one of the best kickers of all time.
