I really want to hear this piece in person again. My high school played it many years ago and I loved this song so much. I played percussion in HS so I just sat on the sidelines when they played and enjoyed listening to it. The feeling of this piece live is amazing, you will definitely get chills. And that was just from listening to a not so great HS band. I can’t imagine hearing it from a band like this.
I attended Pinecrest H.S. Band concert last evening, in Moore County, NC. They played this. Absolute Perfection. I have never heard a more beautiful piece of music played by a H.S. band. ~Cynthia~
I think this is now my all time most favorite piece of music. I have played it so many times since I heard it played by a nearby high school band recently. The beauty of the combination of notes, the changing of chords is perfection ~Cynthia~

Back in 04 I played Eric's October in district band. It brought people in the audience to tears.
