I really enjoyed watching this video, nice information for a diesel freshie guy like myself. Hopefully Chevy panel truck getting a mean power with your magic touch. Cheers Luke
A couple of things; the woman on the camera is very good. When you are obsessed by a fantastic end result the path you need to take will produce lots of enemies but don't bother about them because they are only jealous. If Toto Wolf sees these videos he will be asking you to build the engines for his F1 cars, you have the correct qualities well done just hope you can get your head out the door after reading this message!! I'm in Scotland but I might call in next time I'm in your area for a look.
Damn. The 7,7 EDC looks like a great deal! Sadly engine swaps are not legal for street cars in most EU states including mine. Would have to have it registered in poland or something. Id love to have a diesel swapped 140 coupe…
Thank you. I absolutely hate when people say "merc". Funny enough i have 30+ vintage Mercedes and a mercury mountaineer. I still dont call that a merc.
awesome video mate, looking forward to buying one of your bad boy edc pumps off you soon, by the way is there an option to have a billet edc pump made up as I want to stick with my edc set up for now thanks
I just love your videos !! i have a patrol y61 with a td42 engine ! and i am going to by a y60 short version to play around, and i am searching here in my country for a OM606 turbo for the engine with a td42 gearbox
My 190D NA 2.5 OM602 90ps had the bonanza effect. But when i replaced the clutch. It was gone. Gosh i miss that car so bad. I sold it to a guy that wanted to transport it to Nigeria. I wanted always a turbo version but with manual. But they don't exist. Unless you swap the gearbox
Nice Video on mercedes/bosch pumps. I have a problem on my mercedes C250 TD OM605. I have air bubbles in the fuel system. I don't have any leaks and I don't understand where this could be coming from. Thanks for your help
Nice! Love the attention to detail right down to the nice laminated instruction sheet! I need to get one of these someday, maybe for Christmas this year!? I wouldn't mind getting a crate om606 kit too for Christmas 🎄🎁❤️👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔧🔩
Would i have trouble keeping a 8.5 pump from breaking drive line parts towing with a manual? I want in the 300-350 range in a w126. I know the bigger element is beneficial for egt control but is there any problems with keeping it help back that low fuel volume wise? Also can it be held back externally so in the future i can easily turn it up when the rest has been fortified to handle more power or is that a send back and recalibrate situation?
Where do i get new prechembers for the 603 turbo. Merch dont sell them anymore. i have to go to mercedes classic but they dont reply to my emails and they dont even have them in stock!! help me out curse i want my 124 to run smooth and i notis that under the chamber edge there was a thin washer.. dont know if its for setting the hight of the chamber? no forum says enything about it that i could find. Hellow from Denmark
I am also very interested in using an 8.5mm edc pump in conjunction with a dsl1 ecu. You get all the benefits of the mechanical injection as well as the benefits of a modern engine control strategy (ie. Datalogging, CAN communication, cruise control, watermeth injection, etc). It would make it easier to integrate the om606 with modern tcu's to allow the use of transmissions such as the 6r80 or the 8hp transmissions. I would love to see this as an offering.
Can someone link tthe video when he talks about fuel input pressure gage? I am wondring how i can check what power I make by tuning tthe Alda before and after boost pressure.

Does it fit on the M-pump for the OM617?

Is 8.5mm the largest element you can have? Hypothetically speaking could a 9 or 10mm element be fitted 🫣. Purely hypothetically speaking ofcourse
well you certainly seem more human now you've made videos with your wife and shop guard dog LOL
Why 7.7 pump is not good for a manual gearbox
