Pat, I LOVE the idea of using that quilt behind you for the March a Day block. I think it will be so much fun. It is amazing to see the effects that are created by various fabric choices. LET'S DO IT.
Block a Day in March: red polka dots & red strips with your fabulous collections of novelty fabrics. Your ability to use these combinations would be amazing 🎉
That polka dot quilt would be GREAT for the March block a day! Re-doing a 10 yr old quilt for the 10th anniversary year...Fabulous idea, Plus I love that quilt!
I love that you have quilts to remind you of your friend. You can see how talented she was. That’s a beautiful quilt and look forward to the sew along. On point does make it a tad more challenging but we need to push ourselves to get outside our comfort zone
The polka dot 9-patch quilt would be a fun Block-a-Day project. The blocks are simple, and it would be a fun way to show off larger prints or favorite fabrics.
First, most important, Happy Birthday to your mother!!! What a blessing. Second, the quilt you displayed and suggested for a block a day, is beautiful and would be a great choice. It looks more complicated than it actually is. Lastly, your ‘smalls’ are gorgeous. I can’t imagine how painful it must be to delete some of them. Like picking between children. You’re a brave woman to do that.
Happy Birthday to you Mom! YES on remaking your beautiful 2014 Toffee Bars quilt for March-A-Day (I think that's the name of your quilt). Cindy did a lovely job with her quilting. I've never made a quilt with a polka dot highlight so this will be a new experience for me, and an added bonus with it being on-point. The sewing cabinet table is absolutely awesome! Love it, what a treasure! Your 'Horse' quilt blocks are so cute. I'm so glad that your Ambassadors decided to do this QAL with the Perfect 10 book! Their blocks are all nice and it's really highlighting patterns in the book.
