Good grief, I swear the police are getting more and more thick by the day. Get violently burgled, none of them turn up and get told to report it online. Our neighbours got done, police said they were too busy - same morning 3 of them down the road issuing tickets in a new 20mph zone. They are a pathetic waste of space. It's no wonder the Met and other police forces are under Special Measures as they are not fit for purpose. Takes members of the public to educate them on laws (not just drone laws). Cops approached all aggressive, that didn’t work so they became polite. They say they are being filmed and tested all the time, so why act so poorly?

It's a pretty sad state of affairs we are in when the public have to school the Police on the law AND how to behave when interacting with the public. Where is the training for these cops?

Those officers will approach someone with that attitude hopefully soon and they'll not be as calm as you and will teach them a lesson. The police are supposed to be taught to de-escalate any situation, so I presume that these aren't real police officers then as they can't have done any training.
