What a great video. It reminded me of my first experience of flying a PA Warrior from Blackpool to Barton way back in 1990's on the last leg of my PPL Navigation Exam.
However, on my way to Blackpool (from Halfpenny Green via the Low Level Corridor) I needed to negotiate Warton's MATZ and its Tornado traffic. Calling them up a lovely lady said, "Oh sorry love, they've all just gone home, so I suppose it'll be OK". It was 5.30pm.
Landing at Blackpool then proved perfectly easy with no crabbing until when about to touch down the left wing and tail suddenly lifted and the propellor was almost scraping the tarmac. Apologising profusely to the tower staff for my worst landing ever they said "It's not your fault, the wind suddenly veered - it's been doing that all day, and we've changed the active runway as a result."
The wind over the cliffs had become so strong that on then leaving for Barton the plane to my surprise took off on it's own within just 10% of the runway!

Jodel Flyer Many Thanks. GoPro has stopped supporting GoPro studio so have a new editing app now. Some gods angles to come!

Excellent stuff Andy. I liked the time ramped under wing footage on the way home. Great landing too. 👍

Rory On Air Thanks pal. GoPro no longer supports studio!!! I’m having a fiddle with a new one for the next two i release. Has some cool features, but you get used to the one you had. Having to learn all over again!

Andy Torkington it’s always very frustrating when things stop working. I’m running an old OS on my Mac so lots of things don’t work properly. Adobe Premiere works well for my editing though. Quite a lot to learn...

Rory On Air I’ve switched to Wondershare Filmora. Certainly a lot more stable, but struggling with an annoying pause between film clips. We shall see!

Andy Torkington I’ve never had any dealings with that one. The good thing with Premiere is that there are tutorials for everything online.

I've just editted the Weslhpool to Barton leg and seems all okay. Some cool multi angle scenes to come, but cameras had run out of battery before we got back to BArton due to the BBMF flypast!
