I love my '90 RamCharger.....was sitting DEAD for 12yrs when I bought it for $500......dropped the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump & rubber fuel hose sections & fuel filter.....replaced the cap & rotor and threw some fresh wires @ it.....rolled/chugged right on out of where I had been working on it for a month and a half.....love my 318c.i.

My first car was a 77 Ramcharger SE. 360 4bbl/727. Two tone White over Mustard. Originally the highest trim line I guess. Came to me with IIRC about 180K; I put another 70K on it. I bought it at 14yo and spent the next year and a half on and engine rebuild (with dads help) and sorting a bunch of other issues. For what it was it wasn't too rusty as a former CA truck.
During my tenure I converted it from the 727 to a NP 445. The manual conversion was a good idea but I should have used the more common 435. Never had to do anything to the axles or transfer case. Went through a lot of U joints. Eventually found a much-less-rusty top to replace the original that was rotted along the tops of all the window seals.
Eventually sold it after about 10 years of ownership when I bought a series land rover, an even older, more cranky truck than the dodge was, if that was even possible. Still got the series truck, and still have some good memories of the old dodge.
These early ramchargers have gotten super rare, even when I was still driving it I almost never saw another early ramcharger and 90% of the ones I did see looked more like the one in this video (no offence :D )
