In hole 4, I actually got an albatross with 2 perfect power shots using Sonny from an actual game console. I was trying to unlock Wario at the time. Good memories.
@@chadbrick67 RUclips was not there during that time. If I remember correctly, the wind was strong and difficult for me to get a birdie. I just got crazy lucky to get albatross.
It's TAS - tool assisted speedrun/superplay. What this means is that everything you're watching was input-coded to perfection. There's no actual hands on a controller here. Rather, TAS gameplay requires you to go in, and map out inputs to pixel-perfect perfection to near impossibility for humans, and in some cases, actual impossibility. Down to the pixel and down to the millisecond in games where timing is important. It still takes some know how to do of course, but it's a coding thing, not a gameplay thing. Any time you see "TAS" in a video game video title, keep this in mind :)
+Penguin-Games Wow, so every single shot was performed individually by yourself. That's really impressive since there are people out there doing things like this with tool-assistance. I couldn't even tell the difference between you playing and a tool-assisted run. Keep up the good work! :)
+Crazy Hands Don't get me wrong, I did this with an emulator via PC. This gives me the option to save and reload at any time. Some holes take some time anyway.
If you have the time and motivation can you try to do one course again, this time manipulating the RNG so you can hole in one all Par 4s which are in reach with the correct wind conditions?
it's three under par on a par five - or a hole-in-one on a par four... sometimes it's known as a double eagle, but we don't talk about that. ...and please don't tell me you're asking what the bird is.
I take it if you had holed in one on holes 3 and 14 the game would've crashed or softlocked due to the animation of the words Hole In One were not programmed for that course?
@@mariogolf6473 After watching other videos no it won't softlock I've seen a video where someone holed in one on hole 3 so guess it's all a matter of the right golfer and wind direction to say it's duable.
The result animations are one-size-fits-all, always coming from the same place on the cartridge (and everything above eagle just uses the eagle character animation anyway, making it that much simpler).
Very rare to hear “ooo nice albatross”

WorthyX no proof or video means you didn't do it
@TeamUSASportsFan I've done this on Hole 4 too with Baby Mario!
@TeamUSASportsFan The proof is on my channel if you wanna check & see. Oh, and can you subscribe to my channel?

6:50 It's unexpected to see that in a TAS. Is the hole in one impossible ?
2:31 Wow! It's breaking the 4th wall!
Even Elin Nordegren would be jealous of this boi
Wegriss and Weg Ave had 0:21 😅
I wonder if it's possible to get a hole in one on hole 3... You certainly got close! In the right wind conditions it could be done...
I've done it once with Bowser and had no clue what happened for a second. The wind is the key.
2 months ago i did get the Hole in One with Mario i got Lucky with 17m wind
I aced the 3rd with Bowser too with the right wind. Why TAS not showing it is beyond me.
I'd love to see the score card at the end of a tournament mode for plays like this. ❤
Darbian be like: challenge accepted
some improvements can be made but a good tas none the less
Tiger Woods style!
Tiger Woods who?
Oh this amount of gaming skill makes me sick, how is it possible

Wait how come on the scorecard at the end it showed a birdie for the first hole instead of an eagle?
Why The Hole In One Animation Has The Birdie Music?
A perfect round is impossible, even with TAS. There is only one unequivocal definition of perfect round: all hole in ones.
Toadstool assisted Stars
why does the score card show a score of 3 on hole one. Also, couldnt you technically have hit the hole in one on 14 with that wind?
Different versions of Metal Mario, which indicates different runs.
Damn this nigga TAS nice af I be seeing him goin crazy in all da games smh
40 under par.
Nice video but why didn't you go for the Hole-In-One at Hole #14? I'd like to see videos of you doing this with all 6 tournaments of the game!

What’s an albatross ?
Albatross is also known as a double eagle. It's where you make it on your second shot on a par 5.

Sinking the ball in two shots on a par 5. It's basically get a hole-in-one off the second shot.
