Awesome vid and phenomenal car!! I had a 94 in 97 that I unfortunately lost in an accident in 2004. I always loved that car and it hurt to see it go! I’m glad there’s people out there that still love them
Great job on phase 1. Been doing a very similar refurbishment on mine. Love watching the content. I respect the attention for detail and 100% agree on your comments around “worth” with this car.
The 91-92 Sentra SE-R's will always have a special place in my heart. I originally Red '92 SE-R, Blue '02 SE-R Spec V, and '91 SE-R. I still have the 91 SE-R
Absolutely beautiful Juan!!! Totally fired me up to get me off my butt! I really love the attention to detail with all the rubber seals and gaskets and door strikers. I want to do the same. I’ve got my stash of new old stock parts as well! Remember some names like Nis-Knacks and Motivational Engineering??? Yup- got’em! 😉
You have to find Mexican reproductions. I was lucky enough to buy them in a group buy. Yes they come complete as complete. The outer layer is more of a trim not a gasket.
Been watching your videos for a while and you influenced my decision on recently buying me a 91 ser Sentra. I have a few questions if you have time to answer bro. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
@@blipshiftapex9047 So I'm wanting to identify the weak points or known flaws with this engine. From what I understand , the valvetrain is a known issue. Any recommendations on upgrades? Also do you know where I could find a baffled oil pan. I hit up Z1 and Enjuku and they have no guidance.
@@abstracts2004 drive train is not an issue. Sr20de is a fine engine for it's time. No one makes a baffled oil pain and you don't need it. Oiling or oil starvation isn't an issue with the SR20DE.
@@blipshiftapex9047 that's good to know about it not having oiling issues. Now I just have to go through the front suspension and check on my bushings and ball joints and it will be on the road.
As stated in the video all seals and gaskets were replaced with new OEM or aftermarket ones except the ones that go around the door. Those in 90% of cars always seem to be good.
Love the car and the videos! I still have my 93 that I bought new in high school. It runs well but needs 5th gear pop out fixed. I keep considering selling it but it's hard to part with!
I want to put wider tires on my 1995 Sentra GXE ...mainly the rear of that is possible?. How can I accomplish this ? . Do I need to change stock rims ? Any suggestions or advise would be appreciated... Thank you
how much did it cost to get the sentra painted? I have a 1994 sentra, and it has some scuffs on the doors. I was thinking of bringing it to mexico to get it done pretty cheap.
Beautiful b13. I hope I could find one myself in the future. Will you be procuring the badges for the rear? I'm one of those people that prefer all oem badges intact and on the car in order for it to be absolutely complete.
Thank you. Please check out our more updated videos on the vehicle. The badges are in place. OEM badges done exist anymore although i do have brand new OEM sets in my stash.
Love the attention to detail. You are totally right that the majority of B13 owners spend the money on the engine while the rest is ratted out. Love the approach and the thing now looks clean. Is that paint cost including prep work or did you do the prep yourself?
If that’s the case, I think that price is very reasonable. You’ve given me new inspiration to have my b13 painted. I just don’t have the time to prep it for paint. Love these videos. I can’t wait for the next one to see where this project goes. Any updates on the red car?

I’m gonna miss my Sentra but I’m glad to so there still clean models out there for me in future
Catch them while you can.

Nis-knacks clear tail lights, motivational engineering suspension parts. Oh I remember those haha.
@@blipshiftapex9047 yes sir! 🤙🏼
Would be awesome to see this thing in Long Beach in October for the JCCS! Its looking good and i know youre just getting started.
I would to. But unfortunately I just may not have time. My red Sentra has been to JCCS previously.
Very nice man where can I get the rear quarter glass and do they come with the seals attached ?
You have to find Mexican reproductions. I was lucky enough to buy them in a group buy. Yes they come complete as complete. The outer layer is more of a trim not a gasket.
You are making me want a B13 again
Only come back if you plan on doing the car right. Lol.

Glad we could help making that decision. You are always welcome to ask. What's up?

Nothing like a new, rock chip free windshield.
Planning on restoring mine with maybe a Tsuru headlight conversion. Did you need to replace your door weather stripping ?

Fix and keep it
We keep them because of the memories and sentimental value. Monetary value is not part of Sentra ownership HA!
Any idea where I can get the clear side markers would like to buy 4
As I mentioned I ran a group buy. It's closed. You can contact Klearz to see if if they would sell you a set.
@@blipshiftapex9047 yea I figure I wouldn’t be able to obtain them without another group buy but I will contact them thank you very much
How is the dash faring? I have a pretty mint black one ive been saving for the last decade that should go to the right home
The dash is completely wrecked. It looks like a bomb exploded on it! 😂
Ok last one... how you get the rubber bumpers for the trunk lid in all the way? I swear it requires voodoo and sacrificing a goat.

Going to Mexico will reduce your cost greatly. It can run you $2500-6000 depends on what you want and the quality you want.
