    I greatly appreciate the pace and clarity of the video. Best I have seen on the subject. It was easy to see what was going in. And it was paced in such a way, that it was easy to follow. And only have to watch once.
    Thank You.

    Is there a size chart for these anywhere?
    The sizes seem to make no sense. I've seen "14mm"; "Size 20"; "T8" and two or three other systems. I have no idea how a "size" number related to a "T" number, or to mm or inches. Very confusing.

    • @dshe8637
      @dshe8637 5 лет назад

      T5 is size 20, the most common size.(It's 12.4mm.)
      T3 is size 16 (10.7mm).
      T8 is size 22/24 (14.1/14.7mm).

    This is the best video on how to put these snaps on your masks. I saw a different video but she never explained that there was a male & a female and they went a certain way. I got a kit of these snaps and they looked the same (I picked up a few & they were all the same) and messed up a mask because of that. No biggy but this video rocks!

    Hi. Will this work on 2mm thick felt fabric??

    • @dshe8637
      @dshe8637 5 лет назад

      You can get special snaps with longer prongs for thicker fabric. Felt fabric might be a problem because it stretches and loosens under repeated pressure as you open and close the snaps over time.

    • @Charmedbyashley

      It's not hard to squeeze but u need to give it some good force, I will push it into the table to help give me more leverage as my grip isnt strong enough to do it with one hand

    Hey gf, is it possible that I'm mashing mine too hard? Lol I got the whole male female end thing, they go on no problem, but then they don't snap for beans. I even used the pliers in a frustrated moment to snap them. Uh that didn't help either... Imagine that. I'm using a fairly thin T shirt material, that I design interchangeable items that can be snapped on to it. So I'm placing all the female end where I want them and then snapping on the male end to them. But a lot of them don't snap together. Okay I've tried lessening my smash and I'm still having trouble getting them to snap. got any ideas? I got these snaps on Amazon I think straight from retailer is it possible that some of the snaps or faulty or I'm the faulty? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Ginger

      I'm having the same trouble Ms. Ginger is. I saw your reply that
      she needs longer snap posts. Where can i get them and how do
      I know they're the right ones. Fishing through the Dritz.com site
      was very confusing. Thanks! Pat

    • @dshe8637
      @dshe8637 5 лет назад +2

      If the parts fit on the fabric, but then the snaps don't snap together, you need shorter stems. You could try trimming a tiny bit off the stem with nail cutters to adapt them, or you can buy shorter stem snaps from Kam (Google for your country's own supplier).
      The reason they aren't joining, is because the stem smooshed part in the receiving part is making a big lump that stops the other half from joining enough to click.
