Is there a theory about Dumbledore using a Time Turner? Getting back in time so many times that he knows exactly what he needs to do with Harry and allow Harry to destroy Voldemort for greater good? Like Dr Stange and the time stone.

I wonder if among his schemes and machinations if Dumbledore had somehow manipulated Dobby into protecting Harry? Because when you think about it why did Dobby feel compelled to help a complete stranger who his master had bad intentions with? Also I imagine he tried to keep Harry out of school that year in order to keep him out of danger as his mother's protective charm would only keep him safe as long as Harry is with the Dursleys. I'm sure once Dumbledore sorts out what malevolent plot Lucius was cooking up, he would find someway to get Harry back to Hogwarts in the following year.

Dumbledore knew as soon as Harry told him that Voldemort used Harry's blood and had a glimpse of triumph on his face Harry thought. Dumbledore knew that Voldemort could not kill Harry which is why he told Snape that it must be Voldemort who kills Harry. He said so in King's Cross that Lily's blood tethered Harry to life while Voldemort lived.
The theory about Professor Snape's first words to Harry regarding Lilly Potter (Lilly Evans) being, "On Lilly's grave, I promise to protect you," fit so well with Professor Snape's path throughout the 8 movies. Meaning every time we thought Harry's life was 100% in danger (we being the audience) Professor Snape would in one way or another protect Harry or at the very least give advice on the best cause of action to Harry whether Harry picked up on the helpful advice from Professor Snape or not. With regards to the theory on Harry being the master of death and that's why he came back and not just because the killing curse only hit Voldemort's soul. So it wasn't just the killing curse hitting Voldemort's soul only in Harry, it was the fact Voldemort took Harry's blood to resurrect himself in GOF. Because Voldemort did this, he unwittingly took the protection from Lily into him which would mean that Harry couldn't die while his blood with Lily's charm flows through another body. As SCB says, it was kinda like a love crux that tethered Harry to life and prevented his death. So that's why Harry himself survived the killing curse (like he did in the first place as a baby) and why only Voldemort's mangled soul piece got destroyed, as it didn't have the same protection because that soul piece came from Voldemort before he took in Harry's blood. So theoretically speaking if a death eater after Voldemort died hit Harry with the killing curse, he likely would've died then because the blood protection would no longer be in play.
I think the similarities between Ron & Hermione and James & Lily are minor. James was far more self-confident and more talented + rich, and Lily had more fiery temper and less study-driven ambition.

I have a theory that Lily's Sacrificial Love charm actually didn't exist and was a lie told by Dumbledore so he could have total control over Harry's life, and I believe I can, point by point prove it. I even wrote the full theory out on my Facebook page with the evidence to support it over Halloween last year as part of a project I was doing.
It's a very long theory as it covers several points but I will hit the highlights. First off, Dumbledore is a powerful enough wizard he could customize his own version of the Fidelius that wouldn't require a secret keeper and wouldn't end until Harry was 17 even if Dumbledore, the caster was already dead. Second, everyone claims Voldemort can't touch him because of the love charm. Voldy himself claims this charm was old magic, but then why is it no pureblood ever used it before? The Bones Family, the McKinnon's, all wiped out instead. Surely a pureblood family would know about it. Why didn't the Blacks or Malfoys warn him about it? And, well, no one ever tried touching Harry. So, no one has proof Vildemort couldn't. Voldemort cast the killing curse at baby Harry from a distance. And he didn't touch Harry in the graveyard until after he took Harry's blood and believed he could. At the Battle of Hogwarts when Harry says he now can protect the others because he died for them, again it's not tested. The battle involving everyone ending in Death Eaters like Bellatrix doesn't happen till after Voldemort dies. But the what about Quirrel right? Harry burned him alive. But, at the time, Harry was holding the philosopher's stone. We are told it creates immortality and turns metals into gold...and OTHER powers. But the stone is destroyed and we're never told it's other powers. I believe it protects the person holding it. We never see Harry being touched by Voldemort when Harry's not holding the stone. He doesn't touch Harry in the graveyard until he already believes he can. Well then, why did his killing curse backfire when Harry was a baby if the sacrificial love didn't have exist? Because of Snape. Voldemort promised Snape he'd try to spare Lily. Yes, he gave her two chances to move and she refused. But, she was unarmed and the most powerful dark wizard ever. He could have just bound her or knocked her out. Yet, he lost his temper and killed her, thus breaking his promise to Snape and causing the curse to backfire.
@@katholmes7112 I think you mistake evidence for indicators. I don't think voldemort promised it to snape by giving an unbreakable vow. We don't know that. Why would a pureblood family know about protective love as a spell? If it's ancient chances are quite low and maybe wizards think it's some sort of tale to soften the minds about love. I don't understand how the stone refers to voldemort not touching harry
He really turned the comments off on his "is Hermione black or white" video cuz I said it was beyond sad that it was even a question and that he would make a video about it 😆
Loll nah I think he turned it off cuz he knows people like yourself are going to get triggered. That being said, J.K Rowling could put this to rest real easy. Just ask her.
Neville longbottom being the chosen boy. Voldemort had to make a decision as to which child was the chosen one. Both born at the same time to parents from similar lineage, Harrys story could have been Nevilles story but voldie was more scared of the potters than he was of the longbottoms.
Didnt it get explained that voldemort looks more snake like when he resurrected due to 2 facts. 1 being for many years voldemort lived within Nagini until wormtail found them. And 2 the potion that wormtail and Nagini made to give him a frail body before the resurrection potion was made. While in the frail body he kills the care taker of his dads property and uses that kill to turn Nagini into a horicrux further binding him to Nagini in spirit, body and soul now.
Grew up the same age as harry and just finally watched the last one a couple weeks ago, I stopped after umbridge. Can’t believe what I missed out on it’s a masterpiece lol and your channel is perfect for filling in on everything I missed!
The dementors showing more of an interest in Harry theory isn't even a theory, its an obvious fact. All you have to do is watch the movies and its clear that that is the case and why. Seriously, how can anyone not have picked up on this fact when its so obvious that they can sense Voldemort within Harry.
There is a theory that his loved intrest has meladictus curse and turned her permanently into goats, the charms were kind of experimental nature to turn her back. That's why his patronus was also a goat
Good theories for sure. My question about the master of death though. He didn't have possession of the elder wand until after voldimort. Yeah he might have been the true owner at that point but a wand is required to channel that power. So technically wouldn't that matter in that context? Not only that the stone was left in the woods before he took the curse. So realistically wasn't he in possession of the cloak only when he got killed?
I have a theory that Snape was trying to convey a cryptic message to Harry that "Jesus died for your sins" since Jesus is the Lily of the valley and asphodel was a "protective offering" to gods which just so happens to be Jesus's literal role in the new testament. This theory makes perfect sense.
When I first read DH I thought exactly that, he returned cus he was master of death and that he only needed to die because it would take voldemorts piece with him. that always made more sense to me but no it’s cus the dude has Harry’s blood or something
Man, I really did NOT need to know that about Aberforth's charms. How did he manage to pull his attention away from goats long enough to father Aurelius?
I would love a video about metamorphmagus’ or a video about the American version of Quidditch if you can. Thanks for all your videos. They really are very amazing! I listen/watch them as soon as they come out.
Everybody always forgets that Harry was able to return to the land of the living because Voldemort had Harry's blood, from the ritual in Goblet of Fire.
Video idea for you to do: What additional effects do spells have that are not seen in the movies? For instance, what else can the patronus charm do besides ward off dementors?
Anyone can be the master of death. It's a literary technique Rowling uses a lot in the books. We often read about Harry "mastering his pain" or "mastering his impatience". In this context, mastering something is having complete emotional control. Being the master of death just means you aren't afraid to die.
I’ve always been curious about why Hagrid gets his wand broken and wasn’t able to perform magic anymore. Was it because he was expelled? (Ex-spelled. Lol). sent to Azkaban? ….or because he didn’t finish school?
Hot Take: Harry made the right move by destroying the Elder Wand. If Voldemort could already break into Dumbledore's grave to steal the wand, why would it be so crazy to think that it could happen one more time in the future?
Had a similar thought. He could see that the wand brought more issues than solved. If it was left in tact it could be a big issue down the line so break it, stop the cycle.
Personally I think the best move would have been to snap the wand in two destroying its power then repairing it for sake of appearance and then returning it it both shows respect for Dumbledore and ensures that the wand can never again be misused
Fair point any dark wizard who saw or heard about the final battle between Harry and Voldemort would have known where the elder wand may be after Voldemorts defeat, snapping the wand cuts off all loose ends.
In my opinion, Destroying elder wand was evil act. Basically on idea, this was unique legendary thing and now world is much poorer about it. It is like humans destroy wild animals couse they are nuisance for them. Or some other fantacy series other spiecis are wiped out just so Humans could live in peace and build super civilizations. Detroying something Unique is no good deed. Even burrying it some unknown place would be ebtter, maybe centurys later someone finds it and whole benefiting sciental breaktrought will be based on it. Knowledge will never come without sacrofice but often it is worth it.
I beg to differ about how no Hogwarts students died while Dumbledore was headmaster: Cedric Diggery died in the Tri-Wizard tournament, and Dumbledore was very much the headmaster at that time.
Nice ending quote. Eating noodles so you can save to retire only means you painfully missed the experience of eating a delicious piece of steak 😂. Silly, I know
I always thought that Snape’s opening line was cannon, at least the part about his grief for Lily. As to weather it was a vow to protect Harry or not, I will leave up to debate.
Big question? With the release of Hogwarts legacy soon should we take the information we learn in game as cannon?? Really looking forward to seeing how they expand the universe but if the info isn't cannon what's the point.
I still don't agree that James Potter should have been a Gryffindor. It's easy to be loyal and brave to your friends. He was just a stereotypical bully. And so were the rest of the Marauders, apparently...
Oh please, bullying isn't a trait of any of the four houses. Bullies can be in all houses (although it is pretty hard for a bully to be in Hufflepuff).
My one problem with the Theory vid is that the 2 Dementor Theories were flat out stated in the books. When they were talking about older prime ministers in i believe Goblet of fire, they spoke about Azkaban and how they kept it going to contain the Dementors. And multiple people said that they go after Harry more, so its not like its a shock. love your videos, its just more a weird thing to call something thats stated a theory.
Great video, the last theory was something that if you read between the lines, it's possible, after all he was the descendent of the owner of the invisibility cloak, the 'smart' brother
Actually, the reason Harry survived was explained it was because Voldemort took Harry's blood in him so that kept Lily's sacrifice protection alive which kept Harry alive in turn. SCB called it a "love crux" which makes sense as that tethered Harry to life like the horcruxes tethered Voldemort to life. Theoretically, he could've been killed after Voldemort died if a death eater really tried. But I think the death eaters probably thought he was immortal since he survived 2 assassination attempts by the "greatest" dark wizard of all time.
If the dementor’s could feed off both souls in Harry, then, that would likely mean that a dementor could feed off of a horcrux, I suppose. And for the last one: or was the “master of death that holds the three items” more of a prophecy. Harry was destined to hold those three items and he was the master of death simply because he was a horcrux.
Yes. Hermione restored her parent's identities after the battle. In the movie, she erased their memories of her so it was like they never had a child. In the books, Hermione modified their memories and identities so they were completely different people. Hermione changed their identies because Deatheaters could not look for people they don't know exists. Wendell and Monica Wilkins were unknown muggles among millions of other unknown muggles. That Hermione was able to do this - as a teenager no less - shows just how powerful of a witch she was.
@@Swearengen1980 Same here. Deatheaters controlled the Ministry of Magic and had access to information on all students and their parents via the Department of Magical Education. That's how they made Hogwarts attendance compulsory.
It may have been done already but if not could you do a Theory on Dean Thomas and the story he was supposed to have before he was minimized in the story. I know Rowling has touched on it but I don’t know all the details.
I have a question. Could Voldemort’s soul (being as fractured and split as it was) be able to conceal a secret for the Fidaleis charm? (I definitely spelt that wrong) In other words, could Voldemort be a secret-keeper? Or would his fractured souls not be able to hold the secret?
Harry shouldn't have been able to snap the Elder Wand with his hands???? You know it was made of wood, right? Furthermore, what's the difference between snapping a wand in half and casting the One Ring into the fires of Mount Doom? Both are very simple physical actions. It's the temptation of power that causes people to not want to destroy both items. For Harry to snap the wand in half without a moment's hesitation proves that Harry is one of the greateat heroes ever depicted. He did the most heroic thing anyone can do, he rejected power! And the act was much more symbolic and made much more logical sense than putting the wand back in Dumbledore's tomb, where anyone could steal it again and gain its power simply by physically overpowering Harry.
Harry was the master of death because in the limbo scene of deathly hallows Dumbledore tells him that and Harry survived the killing curse because voldemort had his blood and that anchored him to life. Harry snapping the wand was a stupid decision by the director because the scene in the book was a lot better but by then they really weren't using the books for reference any more.
Harry WAS the Master of Death. Harry was also protected by Lily's sacrifice. And Harry was the master of the Elder Wand. Voldemort couldn't kill him by the Black Wand nor by any other. But the piece of Riddle's soul inside Harry wasn't protected by those charms. That's why Voldemort destroyed his own, unintentional Horcrux.
Cedric diggery died while he was headmaster Dumbledore but I guess you could count the fact that because Cedric was off Hogwarts grounds, the spell to protect the children while he is headmaster I guess when to take a affect
Cedric didn't die on hogwarts grounds. Also he was technically of age as well. I will say I doubt that theory only because if that was there they wouldn't of need the age restriction on the goblet of fire.
Hey quick question, or I'm not sure if this is a theory but maybe someone here can answer it for me? We know about Isolt Sayre, who was a Gaunt on her mother's side, and Tom/Voldemort was a Gaunt on his mother's side too, and since Isolt came to America in the 1600s and had a family of her own would it be plausible at all that Tom has a secret and hidden distant cousin/relation living in America? It just dawned on me.
I think there is possibility that Albus Dumbledore have requested Professor Snape to wait until the snake kept under protective magic, and then tell Harry that he himself is a Horcrux. Didn't he did this on purpose for many reason including the reason to reveal the truth about Snape, how and why protected Harry and why did Snape killed Dumbledore. What you think? There would have been other options to let Harry know about the truth, why only Snape should be the one to tell this Do you think Dumbledore would have been relied on single person who was in continuous contact with Voldemort and has lot of chances to die, to reveal this much important information to harry
Can you explain how Voldemort can ally with dementors? He can’t produce a patronous so he can’t counter them. Why would they follow him and not just kill him and reap havoc on the rest of the people.
My own theory is that the fragment of Voldemort's soul inside Harry was the last of V's humanity and it was trying to protect Harry from the monster that it came from
My head cannon/theory is still that Harry Potter survived the Killing Curse because of him being the heir of Ignotus Peverall and owner of The Invisibility Cloak. James passed possession of it to his son and also the reason James Potter didn't have his wand when Voldemort came to Godrics Hallow was part of the magic of the Hallows... James had to greet Death as a friend, etc...
Not quite. He didn't die because of the love magic. However the tale of the 3 brothers is often presumed to be a parallel of dumbledore, Harry and snape (some reckon Voldemort tho)
@@liamhemsworth5721 interesting, but like I said my theory is built upon Harry being Ignotus' heir and owner/possessor of The Invisibility Cloak which James passed on to Harry upon his birth knowing its true identity and powers from the knowledge passed down through the Potter's history, it makes more sense than Lilly's self sacrifice protecting Harry, b/c many parents had to of done the exact same thing for their children/loved ones, etc... And during The Deathly Hallows, Harry sacrificing himself after he gained possession of the 2 remaining Hallows extended it's protection/bolstered its power to cover everyone Harry wanted to protect from Voldemort personally when he chose to return to life. The Wand provided the power and The 🪨 allowed Harry to enter The in-between/KCS. This also taps into the theory that the Dumbledore Harry saw/spoke to in King's Cross Station/In-between was actually Death, Harry choosing to return to life was him not ready to greet Death as a friend, so was allowed to return to life, etc... I do like the Peverall brothers parallel between Dumbledore(Wand), Snape(🪨), and Harry(Cloak) though
Isn't there a theory out there that voldemort could only hit his horcrux with the killing spell because Harry was the elder wands master, and wands cannot kill their owners?
they say he might have had sexual relations with them bc of “casting inappropriate charms on them” but rowling back in 2007 said his obsession was completely innocent so idk if she changed her mind on it or what

I absolutely love these theories actually makes a lot of sense!!!
9:33 “Who knows what else he was missing?”
Bellatrix knows
I think Why Voldemorts only looked half human is more of a question than a theory
Grew up the same age as harry and just finally watched the last one a couple weeks ago, I stopped after umbridge. Can’t believe what I missed out on it’s a masterpiece lol and your channel is perfect for filling in on everything I missed!
The Master of Death theory is brilliant.
Narrator: OnE oF tHe MoSt LoYaL pEoPlE hArRy HaD mEt.
Ron abandoned Harry on multiple occasions, who stayed by Harry? Oh that’s right, HERMIONE
4 - Wasn't Dumbledore newly head master at the time of moaning Myrtle's death?
#2 is very interesting since Voldemort looks like he's half-human. His appearance shows his nature as a "Mutant". Forgive me for bringing up X-Men.
I have a theory as well and that was that because of the piece of Voldemorts soul in Harry he
Was the co master of the elder wand
Everybody always forgets that Harry was able to return to the land of the living because Voldemort had Harry's blood, from the ritual in Goblet of Fire.
Video idea for you to do:
What additional effects do spells have that are not seen in the movies?
Exactly and Harry is likely to get disarmed as an auror which means the criminal is now the master of the elder wand
Silly, I know
4:45 I absolutely love this theory about snape. Damn near brought tears to my eyes!! He will always be my favorite character! Forever!
That last one is really good!!!
Wasn't Cedric a student when he got cooked in goblet of fire?
My one problem with the Theory vid is that the 2 Dementor Theories were flat out stated in the books. When they were talking about older prime ministers in i believe Goblet of fire, they spoke about Azkaban and how they kept it going to contain the Dementors. And multiple people said that they go after Harry more, so its not like its a shock.
love your videos, its just more a weird thing to call something thats stated a theory.
Didn't Cedric die while Dumbledore was headmaster? Did the spell only cover Hogwarts?
Dumbledore was using Harry as a feint to protect Neville.
Ignotus Peverell
If the dementor’s could feed off both souls in Harry, then, that would likely mean that a dementor could feed off of a horcrux, I suppose.
And for the last one: or was the “master of death that holds the three items” more of a prophecy. Harry was destined to hold those three items and he was the master of death simply because he was a horcrux.
7:51 moaning murtle died when dumbledore was headmaster
Did Hermione get her parents back?
@@WatchThatFirstStep That was a big flaw in the movie for me. Erasing their memories of her didn't protect them in any way from the Deatheaters.
For a solid sec I thought that was Gandalf on the clip art.
I don’t think it was from this year, but Crookshanks originally belonging to the Potters. I just reread the book and it’s too good to not be true!
I have a question. Could Voldemort’s soul (being as fractured and split as it was) be able to conceal a secret for the Fidaleis charm? (I definitely spelt that wrong) In other words, could Voldemort be a secret-keeper? Or would his fractured souls not be able to hold the secret?
Amazing video!
7:52 None of the students actually died while he was headmaster...
Cedric: Am I a joke to you?
I think he means on Hogwarts' grounds. Cedric died at that graveyard
I wouldn't be surprised if Dumbledore didn't planed for Harry to be the master of death.
Out of the three protagonist, Hermione has always been my favorite. Harry's just way too nice.
Was Cedric's death a planed intentional one or an accidental one ?
Abe and his thing for goats may be as simple that he admires whoever is the goat in Quidditch or other wizarding sports.
Cedric diggery died while he was headmaster Dumbledore but I guess you could count the fact that because Cedric was off Hogwarts grounds, the spell to protect the children while he is headmaster I guess when to take a affect
Theory #4, Cedric Diggory was killed while Albus was Headmaster. So he couldn’t have put a protective charm on the school.
Cedric didn't die on hogwarts grounds. Also he was technically of age as well.
I will say I doubt that theory only because if that was there they wouldn't of need the age restriction on the goblet of fire.
I have a question. How wizard police track down the use of Avada Kedav ra spell? the spell that leaves no evidence behind, does it?
Wait. Aberforth was actually f***ing the goats??! Cause that’s what went through my mind when I read it 😂
Hey quick question, or I'm not sure if this is a theory but maybe someone here can answer it for me?
There would have been other options to let Harry know about the truth, why only Snape should be the one to tell this
Do you think Dumbledore would have been relied on single person who was in continuous contact with Voldemort and has lot of chances to die, to reveal this much important information to harry
#1, I'm surprised this is even a theory. I thought it was directly what the book was telling us. What about it seemed uncertain?
Cedric diggory died. One will argue he wasnt on the castle grounds but he still died during Dumbledore's headmaster bam son.
Can you explain how Voldemort can ally with dementors? He can’t produce a patronous so he can’t counter them. Why would they follow him and not just kill him and reap havoc on the rest of the people.
I guess dementors are evil, so birds of a feather?
Why would snape express his grief to the look alike of the person he hated most and also who is representative of his failed relationship
My friend you said none of the students died while Dumbledore was headmaster… Cedric Diggory?
My own theory is that the fragment of Voldemort's soul inside Harry was the last of V's humanity and it was trying to protect Harry from the monster that it came from
"No students died while Dumbledore was Headmaster...."
Ummm excuse me CEDRIC COCK-A-DOODY DIGGORY SAYS HELLO.
7:52 bro forgot about Cedric
Wasn't dumbledore headmaster when Cedric diggory died during the tri wizard tournament?
The last theory... Well... Obviously..? 😆
Cedric Digory died with Dumbledore as headmaster.
But Harry DIDN'T hold the resurrection stone when Voldemort killed him, so he wasn't the master of Death at that point.
How did James die I know he was killed by Lord Voldemort but was there convo or did he just turn up and avdakedbra
7:49 Moaning myrtle died
But, Cedric dies when Dumbeldore is headmaster..he's is still a student..a visiting student ..but a student.
What is Aberforth's theory with goats?
they say he might have had sexual relations with them bc of “casting inappropriate charms on them” but rowling back in 2007 said his obsession was completely innocent so idk if she changed her mind on it or what
9:33 ayoooo 👀
