Finally, the only video I see for the new Jetta’s on RUclips explaining how to upgrade the speakers. Thanks a lot man, very helpful. I have a 22’ Jetta SE and you are right the factory speakers sound horrible
Thank you for this video. Going to be replacing all four speakers with some kickers hopefully get somewhat of a change. Will add an amp sometime in the future and definitely going to get a 12 inch subwoofer in the back.
Tbank you for an excellent video on swapping out the front speakers. I wonder if this radio is capable of rear speakers like the SEL models. I'll have to do a little more research and will check some of your other videos for sure.
@@kevincastillo1626 any idea what ohm load the speakers are & are seeing ? So I can get the rite ones. Shouldn’t it get louder if I get lower ohm speakers ?
Hey great video but I did notice that you do not have the Beats Audio which is the upgraded system. My Jetta GLI comes with that god-awful system I'm swapping out all my speakers for the exact same kind that you have in your car I run about 50 Watts RMS at each Channel which should work out because the speakers only a 60-watt I did put some alpines that were 81 RMS and they were drawing too much power from the amp and it sounded slightly distorted at higher volumes so it is best to stay with a RMS that is fairly close to what the factory stereo can put out
unfortunately brother you can’t.. i have a 2023 VW jetta sport, i’ve changed out all door speakers to apocalypse sylvester’s and have 2 10” kicker CVTs, sounds absolutely amazing and was about $700 total for everything.. its pricey but go slow, i also asked if im able to change the radio and they said its going to sound the exact same as you would if it were to be factory, only way to make your car louder is if you change all speakers or add to it

So just by upgrading the speakers , nothing else , the system will sound better ?? Louder ??
