1st time voters should have been informed how, not a single year went by during UPA days when there wasn’t a bomb-blast in Bombay(Mumbai). There was a phrase people used that the meaning of Bombay was, ‘city where Bombs went off’.
During the UPA days, the first thing we looked at when entering buses or trains was look for unattended luggage, thinking it to be a bomb!

Here's the thing about Bomb blasts...terrorism in India increases when Pakistan gets funds from abroad...2001-2011 was the worst decade for India in terms of terrorism because Pak was being given billions of dollars for Afghanistan war...all that changed after 08 financial crisis and more importantly Osama's killing...US became strict with Pakistan and momitored it's funding...India too made the NSA stronger after 26/11 which led to a gradual reduction in terror attacks after that and they are today at where they were...Also it isn't like Modi rule had no terror attacks at all...Pulwama was perhaps the biggest terrorist attack on Indian forces...but yes as Pak goes bankrupt situation normalizes in India...so Modi has little to do with it
voters don't give a damn about bomb blasts
1) J P Nadda distancing from RSS ground workers is the main reason,
2) less number of central govt vacancies in last 5 years (unemployment), Paper leaks, etc.
3) corruption in land grab in Ayodhya,
4) arrogance of top hierarchy of party
5) incompetency of IT Cell to address core misinformation by opposition,
6) not supporting BJP ground workers in WB,
7) taking corrupt politicians into BJP
8) deviation from core ideology of BJP 9) No clarification regarding removing Yogi from leadership (rumour). Many people were angry on Top leadership of BJP.

Let me try to enumerate what I think is the reason.
1) Anti incumbency - Never underestimate it. Specially hit hard in areas of double anti incumbency eg UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan.
2) Ram mandir didn't unify Hindus but consolidated the other side.
3) Congress took a back seat. Congress has a common (anti BJP) vote bank. Wherever it fights it erodes the opposing party. Was a very big reason BSP+SP alliance couldn't win as much as they thought in 2019.
BJP had about 38% votes in 2019. iNDI ensured in 2024 that the anti BJP and anti incumbency votes against BJP doesn't get divided. Congress fought on least number of seats to ensure it happens.
It hit BJP hard wherever it became a 2 party fight.

WB ( TMC as Congress was literally powerless in WB)
4) The 400 par made people relaxed and felt their votes wasnt needed and they did infact turned out in lower numbers.
5) Finally 10 years is a long time. People have short memory. The problems scams, bomb blasts, terrorist attacks etc that plagued us from 2004-2014 is slowly fading from people's memory. So the urgency to keep them out of power is not that high.

You forgot to add how Congress and INDI alliance were buying votes for cash. See the videos of the women lined up out side Congress headquarters to get paid their 8000 rupees per month for the year😮. Votes for cash corruption in the open, Rahul even mentioned it in one of his speeches and the EC has still not acted.
BJP's vote share in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections is 39% and in 2019 Elections, it was 37%. So, its share has actually increased and on its own it managed to win 240 seats despite all the problems, opposition, propagada on social media and incumbency...
BJP has ignored the core voters in favour of the peacefull community.... Peacefull community has ignored BJP..... Besides this BJP has made many mistakes like incapable candidates, bad communication etc.....That is why they have lost many seats.
Still.not a reason to vote against.. ppl have those issues with dmk parties still they vote again n again. That is the level of trust

40:30 - No but it's true RSS workers used to visit every home to promote them, do parchi distribution but this time no one came which definitely created a negative impact. I mean that would have made voters go to booth and vote but most had this "arre mere ek vote se kya hoga modi toh jeet hi rahe hain" impression which didn't make them go to booth.
I know someone who didn't even know in which list his and his family name was since they shifted house recently and they couldn't get to vote. If RSS workers had come they'd made sure everything is intact.

I was ready to accept that BJP lost in UP and in Ayodhya because of bad MPs and local issues like breaking of houses and shops, I would have accepted that mandate and respected the voters. But after watching some interviews from the ground and seeing a lot of caste communities flaunting that they have taught BJP a lesson I have no respect for them, just because some local MP made a wrong statement regarding your caste and later apologized too you decided to forget everything SP did in UP, forgot all their anti Hindu stances and voted for them just because your caste ego got hurt. And it's extremely sad because it shows for most of Hindus still it's not Hinduism or Hindutva that takes priority it's caste that takes priority still, the caste identity is way stronger than a Hindu identity; this was the exact reason why we were ruled by foreigners for so long, this was the exact thing Savarkar wanted to eradicate cause the biggest hurdle for Hindutva is caste, and it's disheartening to see that despite so much how little progress we have made, where Rajputs voted a SP muslim candidate who previously talked about putting Hindus in pieces just because they wanted to give BJP a 'lesson' yeah like keep doing for another 50 years and the next thing you'll know is jihadis with swords standing at your doors with convert or d!e demand. But looks like Hindus are the biggest enemies of themselves, if we didn't learn anything after 600 years of slavery, after destruction of our temples, after breaking up of our motherland into pieces, when will we ever learn then? If all that was not enough I don't know what will be enough, and as someone who will support Hindutva till my last breath it's disheartening, very disheartening

BJP needs to course correct, start grooming the next PM candidate, make sure that the public likes the next candidate and also make sure that the loopholes are covered well.

Stop blaming eachother guys, it's okay, BJP's vote percentage is higher than 2014 and is almost the same as 2019, if BJP had joined hands with BSP they would've gotten over 65 seats in UP. This is not the end guys, this just a small bump.
Also don't forget eastern India has been saffronized and southern India gave 12-24% vote share to BJP.

Kushal has a blindspot on Punjab due to his wife. Akali dal is an outright khalistani supporting party and the one with biggest influence in SGPC who spearheads the Indian branch of khalistani movement. BJP has gained in punjab only because of snapping ties with Akalis. Until they were in alliance they were collaborators in Hindus getting marginalised and discriminated.

Agniveer was a disaster which impacted ‘West UP, Rajasthan & Haryana’. everyone with generations of service in the army understood it but ‘bhajan mandli’ didn’t. Imagine giving a cheque to the agniveer’s ‘martyr’s mother’ while taking away the assurance of lifetime security from their family.
No one listened to major gen Bakshi, you know what most officers in my family regiment group were overjoyed that their arrogance was curbed.
It was a bureaucrat driven government who kept pensions, benefits & lavish Lutyens bungalows for themselves while disincentivizing every other group.

The most infuriating part was senior leadership in the army saying we will recruit & bring people in the army who ‘picked up arms’ in ‘Kashmir’ but won’t even allow those students who were involved in ‘protests’ of UP & Bihar.
When ‘Brahmins & Thakurs’ asked for the same benefits extended to other groups like ‘SC/ST/OBC’ then, the local leadership sidelined them because they took their votes as stagnant & in their fist. Guess what, the former group took all the benefits and didn’t vote for them on a single seat.

Please note as compared to American soldier with Indian army only 25% die due to more sophisticated attriers provided like guns/ bullet proof jackets/ head gears with lights etc. It cost nearly Rs 18 lakh when compared to mere 2- 3 lakh.

Agniveer was a not a very big factor as mentioned by some. If it was, then BJP wouldn't have been able to do a clean sweep in Himachal and Uttarakhand. These regions see large recruitments of soldiers in the army. In Haryana, major soldiers recruitment happens from Haryana's Bhiwani/Mehndargarh/Rewari region and BJP has won that seat. In Rajasthan, it happens in Shekhawati region of Jhunjhunu, Churu etc there BJP had significant losses but it was because Rajputs were not happy with some derogatory remarks against them from some BJP leaders. So that played into effect.

As a BJP supporter I especially think this is much needed for BJP. With the exception of Nitin Gadkari who mostly talk about his portfolio and development , all others talk nonsense.

Two things I will say about either coalition in this election:
Firstly, for the INDIA alliance people. There is absolutely zero crossover from one election to the next. What does that mean? closing the margin on the BJP and the NDA alliance is absolutely no guarantee that those gains will continue or be replicated in the next election. Sitting in opposition is a national duty. If taken lightly, if you dont show people that you are capable of governance, you will lose again and again and again. At the end of the day, the goal of an election is to GOVERN. If you are not able to do that, then you have failed. 50 years from now, history will forget who came in 2nd.
Secondly, for the NDA alliance and the BJP party. You still have a mandate, but ignore the trends of this election at your peril. A lot of analysts will provide a lot of analysis of various kinds about who to appease, what kind of cynical politicking will win you what seats etc. However, at the end of the day, when it comes to elections, people care about one thing: trust. At the voting booth, an undecided voter will ask him/herself one question: "Can I trust this person to better my lot in life". If you cannot communicate this to the voters, you will lose the next election. As the incumbent, the onus of power is on you. You must govern, and at a national level, your governance must be for ALL Indians, not just the ones who voted for you.
