That fabric is gorgeous! I need some blush pink in my life ❤❤❤. It’s so beautiful in the end though. All that hard work ❤️. I had no idea those sorts of waistbands were actually couture. I really love doing my waistbands that way. Just goes to show like you said that sewing hasn’t really changed as much as we maybe think it has. Lovely video and beautiful work ❤❤
Fabulous! Thanks so much for the recommendation of using horsehair cloth in the waistband. I was thinking about boning, but your idea sounds so much more irresistible. xx!
This week I made my first ever circle skirt (and documented it on my channel which will undoubtedly make you cringe lol), but I wish I'd have found your channel first! I've subscribed and will follow you to help hone my skills (because they clearly need honing lol!!). Thank you so much! x
I'm making a circle skirt from a round tablecloth, and I've started to herringbone stitch the bias tape up by hand. So glad I saw this before I got more than 15 or 20cm through. Definitely should understitch the hem first! So thanks 😊
I love this fabric. I love the way this skirt hangs. I love these little visits. They're so pleasant.
Well it's really lovely to have you here!
Oh Tara!!!
The drape and color of that piece are beautiful ❤️❤️❤️!
And I love seeing your new ghostly machine working away! Such a fun tutorial 🥰
Thank you my Lovely ~ I'm so glad you enjoyed!
I agree that the color and the drape are just magnificent 💞! You create such treasures in your cottage by the sea!
That's so lovely of you to say ~ thank you!
🦋 for the algorithm

Lovely fabric and garment, need to try the horsehair method ❤

What weight horse hair do you use? X
I use a medium weight horsehair ~ it's better to use a malleable one that you can build layers with x
