Fix Epson Ink Printer not printing colors

Run a Power Clening check to see if any of the print head nozzles are clogged. Then clean the print head.
Here are some common troubleshooting solutions that work on most Epson inkjet printer models.

I have been living without the color printing for over a year. I swear I tried the cleaning option before. I never did it through the printer settings on my actual computer though. I always used the control panel on the printer. I do not understand why there is a difference, but I followed this video and I now have clear color printing. Same thing with mine. This video helped so much. The stupid EPSON software doesn't even give you this option. You have to go into the actual printer setting

thanks! i've done the printerhead cleaning from the actual printer like 100 times it did not work, it cleans for 3 mins and no change, but going thru the computer settings to clean took about 12 mins and it worked!!!

On my Epson ET-2720, in Windows 10, I couldn't find any maintenance tab. Lots of settings are missing for some reason. I read on Epson's website that I can also do a power cleaning by turning it off and then before turning it on, hold the power button and the question mark button at the same time until the power cleaning option appears on screen. It took ~7 minutes, and then everything worked fine. Printing with all colors accurately now. Phew! Thanks for this!

I bought this printer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi

I'm on Windows 10 too. It's the same, just a different way of getting to it. I searched with Cortana "printer". That took me to "Printers & Scanners". From there, I clicked on my printer and it opened up some options. I clicked on "Manage" then clicked on "Printer Properties", and that took me to where he went, where, in the "General" tab, you can select "Preferences..." and go from there

It works!
But took me 8 tries of head cleaning to actualy had all the colors printed
it started with the color magenta not printing, and then all of the colours started to fade one by one and at last at the 8th try, it works!
