As an old school player, I'm curious if anyone else thinks pendulum cards are broke as hell
+Mr Bones I own a Pendulum Magician deck that I created with the Master of Pendulum structure deck and it can pull out some sick combos. I used it against Six Samurais and older decks. Those players kept laughing at me for running this deck and they got the last laugh and were pretty pissed off lol. I can say that Pendulum are OP as hell.

Well the dub of 5Ds has Yusei be more *"Energetic"*, snarkier, and overall more talkative than his Japanese counterpart.
that is because the dub was way too wrong .they made 5ds a light anime and the anime was one of the darkest animes overall .the japanese version was legendary serious but the us version made it like a joke

Why's everyone complaining about Yusei being so upbeat? Yusei was never downcast and gloomy. He always had a positive outlook, was surrounded by friends, always saw the best in people, wanting them to succeed, and wanted nothing more than to create a brighter future for his friends and his city. I think some people need to go and re-watch the anime. Maybe he started off that way, but certainly by the end of the show (at least in the sub), he was happier than ever

I actually thought Yuya was going to win, but I'm glad Yusei won. This was probably one of the most fun duels I've seen the Dub VAs put on. If Yusei would've summoned Quasar on Turn 5 than this would've been over a lot sooner. But still, fun duel.

He wasn’t dealt with the right cards in life but makes use of it effectively he’s a deep character. He broke out of the poor area and made it into neo city

In the sub but probably at the time like not for another year in the dub
For me, Yugioh stopped at 5D's, watched the first 3 episodes of Zexal and i quit. I'm an oldschool duelsit, with fusion and ritual, the synchro was a nice adition, still making the duel fun and yet not boring and one-sided. But when Xzys and Pendulums came along, it was waaaay to easy. This duel showed it perfectly, summoning 5 monsters AT ONCE with no effort at all. I may be an old timer, but OG yugioh, GX and 5D's is still more fun than the utter GARBAGE that has become of my favorite childhood cardgame. GX will still be my favorite becouse just like OG and 5D's you still had to think and make strategy, not like now.

Yusei using new cards both helped and hindered a pretty solid drawing startegy with tuningware and formula. Though Accel's effect makes up for it in spades. Also damn surprised Yuya got beat in the end.
