    For those who want keto low carb you can use almond flour in place of white flour. It is just as good as white flour without eating a grain (white flour). Looks delicious!

      True....but almond flour burns easily so keep an eye on the chicken.

    We clean a car dealer ship .Wed and Saturday.. Friday we clean a small local Cement plant...Glad we bo longer work 7 days a week i would never hold up.. jim had a Commercial janitorial business .. it ended in 2016.. we only now work 3 evenings a week. Plus we get social Security. .. love your Awesome Videos!! i love Buffalo chicken Salad i love other one too!!

      Susie....at my Walmart, it's with the bread crumbs and regular panko crumbs. Seems to be readily available if Walmart is carrying it.

    Yea so glad to see your using pork panko instead, I have some but haven’t made fried chicken yet but watching this, I may make fried chicken this week, I don’t use flour though. I just got home from church so I haven’t ate yet, so I will come back watch later, after I eat lol.

    I love buffalo chicken salad and eggs too. In fact I put eggs in salads a lot. You could even have a buffalo chicken wrap! Thanks for the panko idea. Your chicken looked 👌perfect.

    I’m a total sucker for a crispy chicken breast. I love it with white rice, black beans and a sweet plantain. It’s one of my favorite meals! Not exactly the most carb friendly but I’ve made peace with my muffin top. 😂
    I’m constantly learning from you so I might just try the pork panko.

      Seriously.....I had no idea myself!! I tried making my favorite chicken with almond flour, coconut flour, etc....and it was all not great. My mind was blown when I discovered pork panko!!! And the taste is just like regular bread crumbs too!!!

    I love chicken cooked this way on my keto diet! Sometimes I add parmesan cheese to the pork rinds and coat the chicken.

    I am so going to try this!!! I am going to use almond flour instead of regular to keep the carbs down even more. I know its minimal but...I have it on hand. I am so excited to try this and the recipes from your just released cookbook!

      You will like pork panko crumbs much better than almond flour…it cooks up crisp and golden brown. Almond flour doesn’t do that unfortunately

    I've been using panko for years and years but don't remember ever seeing pork panko. I wonder if they have it here in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for the recipe Renee. Looks delish.

    Oh, I really like the tip of taking the chicken out of the skillet and finishing in the oven. Question: Have you thought about making the chicken in the air fryer? I don't know if you could cook it all the way in there, or still do the skillet part.

    Hi Renee' and Randy!
    I thought one day, instead of using skin on chicken thighs, I would buy the skinless and brown them, a little, in butter and neutral oil, lightly! Then drain on paper towel. Pour out some of the oil/butter or leave it if there is not a lot. Put the chicken thighs or breasts into the fry pan and pour your favorite salsa over all. Cover and let cook on med low heat for approx 20-30 min depending on if you have thighs or breasts. Waala!!!
    Great with a salad or your favorite veg! Pork cutlets can be used as well. Fish fillets too!
    We love this and I made it up myself! Great with grated parmesan cheese or other grated cheese when serving!
    It's the quickest and best tasting meal with melt in your mouth chicken.

    Another great video!!! I have never used flour when making my crumbed chicken and I've never had problems with the egg sliding off, I don't put a lot of water and when I place my chicken into the egg and then into the bread crumbs I actually flatten the chicken right into it pressing firmly with my hand and that holds the breadcrumbs on my chicken, I have never liked using flour, as an Italian girl growing up in a traditional Italian family we never used flour but I'm not telling you or anyone else they shouldn't do so it's entirely up to you. May I also ask do you make your own croutons or are they bought store ones?. Thank you again so enjoying your channel. xx

    Oh my gosh...chicken parm! Add a little mozzarella cheese broiled for a few minutes until golden and bubbly, add some warm marinara sauce and YUUUUUM!!! Or throw it into a salad made with Asian cabbage, shredded carrots, radishes, pea pods or sugar snap peas and some sesame oil and soy sauce dressing...maybe a few sesame seeds for extra crunch!

    Gotta try this. My go to chicken is one Popeyes breast. Crunchy an delish. 3.13 cents total. I eat on it 2 days in salad or make lil chic salad. U get a biscuit also but can’t eat that. Thanks for the egg tip.

    Hey Renee, thanks for this recipe and posting the technique step-by-step step. Have you tried the 3-2-1 breading with grated (jar) parm, flax and almond flour? Works great too and I’ve cooked these and pork chops many times in the air fryer. Love your channel!

      Absolutely! Although I prefer spaghetti squash with sauces that aren't tomato based such as a wine or lemon sauce. Personal preference I think.

    Do you cook at ¨home¨ when you´re in Mexico? This would be so easy to make. At the tienda they will cut the chicken ¨a la milanesa¨ so you wouldn´t have to pound it and you can get chicharron /pork rinds at any tienda/oxxo, just like chips. Just fyi!

      We will eat lunch at home....but go out for dinner. But you are right....all of the ingredients are readily available in Mexico. A few years ago, we went on a food tour and watched them make pork rinds. Delish!

      They both burn very quickly. And for just 2 carbs in regular flour, it's worth it to me.

    Hi, Renee! Quick question... how do you reheat those leftover chicken breasts? I don't have an air fryer yet... doing my research, but it seems they would be soggy when reheated. Thanks! BTW, bought the Pork Panko yesterday and can't wait to try!

      Hi Tina! You can simply reheat them in a regular oven.....or I use the microwave on a half power setting until it's warm. Full power will "cook" the chicken more and make it tough.

      I don't like hot or spicy things....but that particular Buffalo Sauce from Franks is perfect for me. Just a little spicy flavor but not too much.

    Great idea! Looks delicious! But I don’t eat pork. At all. Not even bacon. Nothing religious about it. I just don’t eat anything from pigs. Maybe I’ll just make it without the coating. Unless someone has an idea besides pork??

      @@sherip3317 I’ve googled this. Not a lot of good options. Make bread crumbs from a stale loaf of keto bread seems to be the best option. I think the other option is to use almond flour. This other option sounds like it’d be heavy.

    Funny...I had NO idea what pork rinds/pork panko are!
    Its Pig SKIN! High in calories, salt, & fat. But probably ok in small amounts. I don't think I could get myself to eat it. Lol I haven't eaten pork in 15+years. It "looks" good, but, skin.... ew.

    I don't have a special chicken dish but I'm definitely going to use pork panko! The other 2 in my family like the spicy rinds so I'll use those and crush myself. I cook my eggs in the instant pot and they come out perfect just like yours do. Never boil on stove again! Think I'll make your chicken in a parmesan. It looked mouth watering!
