All of that with the help of our Lord and savior. When I came to Jesus I gave up drinking and cussing, but my Mom would rather I kept doing my past. finally she came to Jesus too Isaiah 53. Now I street preach to gangsta rappers in love and care to His glory. And as a prison guard helped over 3000 inmates to Jesus forgiveness and friendship too. We are either all in or all out. When offered a drink, I say I would rather drink poison because it will hurt me less and they never ask me again. amen
Jesus is the Truth! He completely healed me from sexual sin, depression, anxiety, weed and alcoholism! He is still working on me but I feel so much joy in my life. I never felt this way before Jesus. ❤

Drinking alcohol can be very insidious. Oddly, I quit drinking BEFORE I was born again because it was upsetting my stomach. I to this day believe removing alcohol from controlling me gave the Holy Spirit the opening He needed.
Same feeling with drinking too much soda. It's all bad sugar.
Of course it did- alcohol is a portal to the demonic. Hence they're called spirits

Been fighting the p@√n addiction now for a few years. Ill stop for a week or 2 slip back and its frustrating. It was really bad 10plus year's ago so i dont best myself over it but knowing the word and still even slipping into watching is vexation. You dont realize the issues spiritually behind allowing these demonic things to enter tou until it chips away from you. Its 1 habit i wish id never picked up and i pray for anyone still fighting it off now.

The problem is that our culture is swamped by sexual images, innuendo, and suggestions. Even my late widowed and saintly mother in her 80's before she died complained about all the sexuality on television and how it affected her spiritually. It's a lifelong battle against the flesh.....but then Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow Him. There's no easy road to heaven. Blessings.
Most powerful answer is John 17:17 sanctify them through thy truth. Thy word is truth. One of my friends listens to the Bible three or four hours a day, and it has radically transformed his life.

Grandmother suggest therapist -> therapist asks if you attend church -> you go to church -> sermon is directly speaking to you and convicting you -> you realize Jesus is what you've been missing. yeah, but I'm sure it's all coincidence... God is so good! 🙏

My sweet sweeeeeet MOM passed away from Cancer, bacterial meningitis, lungs infection, kidney failure, fits,strokes internal bleeding and finally heart failure. She was only 48 year old ,but I know she’s in Heaven!!! She wasn’t just my mom, but my best friend. Please pray for her.
God's Holy Word is truth, and we are never instructed one single time to pray for the Dead. The Holy Bible says.... for it is appointed once for a man to die and then the judgement. Jesus Christ said that He was the way and the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
If you are not born again, repent of your sins and call upon the Lord to save you from your sins and go and be baptized.
Read John 3:3, Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38.
I also encourage you to read the entire book of John, and then after you read John read the entire book of Romans.
Also if you want your faith to grow read God's Holy Word everyday, pray and ask God to help you read at least one chapter from His Holy Word everyday for the rest of your life.
The Holy Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
So if you want more faith, read God's Holy Word daily!!

If your mother was a believer in Jesus there is no need to pray for her, she's fine. We are warned not to have these kind of communications. But sweetie, you need to get saved yourself if you want to join your mother one day. It sounds as though you're from a Catholic background - I was also a Catholic until I saw the error of their teaching. Repent of your sins (admit you're a sinner) Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (that He was born of a virgin, suffered & died on the cross cross to save us from eternal punishment for our sins) and commit your life to Him. Pray & read the bible every day and look for a bible believing church to attend. I'm very sorry for your loss. God bless you 🙏❤

Your honesty and remorse encouraged my heart. My husband of 23yrs is the same as you were. He is also very deceptive on so many levels. I separated from him 1yr ago. Hoping he would get help for his temper, sex addiction or lust spirits BUT I knew he most likely wouldn't. He is living with another woman across the street. He has cut me, our children, grandchildren off completely like we never even existed. I am so hurt. I know he is demonized. I have seen it in my dreams. I also see it in his eyes and face. I pray for him and cry out to God for His mercy and rescue for my husband every day.

Don't doubt your salvation if you have put your full faith in Jesus Christ, you are saved the moment you believe/place your faith in Jesus and his death, burial and resurrection..this salvation is eternal and nothing or nobody can take this away from you, not even God since it is his promise that those who believe in his son will be saved, it is the new covenant..we are not saved by repenting of sins..in the bible it says to 'repent'..'repentance of sins' as a requirement for salvation is nowhere in the bible..the word repent comes from the greek word 'metanoia' which means a change of mind going from a state of unbelief to belief..believe and be saved..the problem is a lot of folks put half their faith in Jesus and the other half in their own works or performance, looking to the law when the truth js that we are no longer under the law and our works or law keeping/not sinning will not save us or keep us saved..Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins..we are completely forgiven, this includes past, present and future sins, all God asks is that we believe and put our faith in Jesus.

I really relate to her story very much, for I was saved in the middle of a Metallica concert as a late teen in the mid 90's! Satan has tried to take me down many times since then but praise God He's the God of second chances,and third chances and fourth chances and fifth chances...He never gave up on me and His longsuffering is beyond powerful! I'm 47 and finally have been in a truly mature place spiritually for over a year now. Thank you Lord.

We will forever be in a battle with our flesh, because God created us with sexual desires to reproduce, it's all God given natural and no one exists without it. All have fallen short of the glory of God, there's not one person in this world without sin, except for Jesus therefore no one is perfect. This is why Jesus paid the price, for YOUR SINS because you can't on your own overcome sin 100% completely. If you could, Jesus would of died in vain and everyone can save themselves!! Trust Jesus, not your fleshly carnal desires.

This was an amazingly raw/real testament of the power of Jesus! Sarah, YOU give me hope! Thank you! My wife and I became born again almost 20 years ago, but the enemy snuck in and influenced our two beautiful daughters. After years of praying and remaining faithful to the Lord, we are seeing signs, but our kids are still bound to the World. I was drinking a 12 to 24 pack a day then I made an oath to God that I wouldn't drink again after I drink the last beer, I quit cold turkey and I replaced beer with water, I drank more water during that time then I ever had in my entire life, if I craved beer I drank a water and kept doing it, the amazing part about it was I didn't have any withdraws, been alcohol free for years now, anyone trying to quit drinking, obviously pray and talk to God and go get yourself alot of water, it did the trick for me, I thought it would have been way harder but it wasn't in my experience, I know everyone's different

I pray for her husband too. There's a point of undeniable repeatativeness that shouldn't be ignored. She's correct and the Bible confirms some people are meant to be single and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Sacrificing one soul for another isn't necessarily the way. Time will tell because not much of it has passed. I pray she is on the straight and narrow, but critical thinking makes me hope he doesn't pay for things she's done by not being yoked equally. It happens all to often. May Jesus be with him of these things return.

Inspired by this ladies honesty. To lay out your sins for all to hear is very hard , at least it feels that way to me . We have secrets that we hide , and the devil abides there. To go all in , like she describes is really the only way to free yourself . Man , l admire this type of courage. I have learned a lesson here . We have all sinned and have come short of the glory of God.

There can be a difference between a professing Christian and a truly born-again Christian whom God has change and made their spirit alive. If a believer has received the Holy Spirit, we do have the ability to live a righteous life. This why Paul said to examine ourselves to make sure we are abiding in Christ.

I always get caught up in what I will say when evangelizing. This woman just said you do not need to have a ton of words. Sow the seed with a question and let the Holy Spirit do the work. POWERFUL.
YOOO you see what I mean? It’s so human to want to rely on our knowledge to lead someone to Christ but that’s not how it works. Yes, it is good to know some basic things like how prophecy proves the Bible, but people can go look all of that up on their own if they want - you have to say something to them that’s led by the Holy Spirit and keep it simple. And there’s nothing better than a question that gets them thinking such as how do you know where you will go when you die ?
I, began viewing, nudity magazines in my teens; then during mid high school, was introduced to a nudity women magazines, alert, by my brother. There was some degree of responsibility about Me, but only a small ammount. Instead of seeking God and help, to solve what apoeared to be a problem, I went in,to it, and liked how it made me feel, a, lot. And then kept returning, even rushing home from school as early as possible to be on my own, to indulge.
Maturity and strength to walk the good path is of such value in my view. I'm still seeking, though not well enough, the way to keepnto, the strength and what ever, to live true and well. It's only by God's love and constant rescue that I do as well as I do.

31:30 SIN! Sin has a decietful aspect to it! The Bible talks about this. Yes its amazing that God wants all to be saved but we have to understand that Jesus prophecied the opposite. In Luke 13 Jesus says MANY will TRY to enter and will not be able to. Who are these many? They are people who've HAD encounters with Jesus already! But they turned away. We must repent of our sins! We must take the words of Jesus seriously; it shouldnt be so surprising that someone turns away from the Lord!! What should be surprising is our own unwillingness to repent of sin in light of Christs abundant mercy.... I'm really not trying to be rude, but people need to take the scriptures more seriously. Jesus says that He came the first time with a sword (Matthew10:34). What that means is that the gospel divides!

Why is it that only Christians get attack for hypocrisy, people that are into yoga are hypocrites, people that are into crystals are hypocrites, people that are into sexual perversions are hypocrites, we all struggle with hypocrisy it's a growing process it's a growth process for a Christian to grow out of being a hypocrite, and for her to call others a hypocrite is a self-righteous attitude and viewpoint.

What do you mean? Study His word and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand anything that you read. You don’t need a man/woman to teach you, because the Holy Spirit is your teacher. However, you can supplement your personal study but don’t rely on others for your growth. Rely on God, he is faithful and will establish you Himself.
If you open your bible where Malachi ends, and Mathew begins you will probably find a page marked New Testament.
Malachi is the end of the old testament. Matthew is the beginning of the new. The old testament is important because it points to the coming of the new. The old is the story of early man and then of Abraham; the beginning of the Hebrew nation later called Israel; then Moses and the Law (That is called the OLD covenant.); then the history of their complete and utter failure to keep those laws leading up to Malachi where even the priesthood was in massive disobedience and faiure.

My goodness that statement couldn’t be more true and you know I really respect people who are able to keep it to a minimum. I know people like this, but I also know many people who turn into a different person when they drink so there must be something genetic or a predisposition because I am actually a very strong minded person, but I won’t go near drinking again
@@sarahspeaksup i honestly think its probably more spiritual now. At first i had a secular view on it, such as genetics and the like, but how can alcohol turn a otherwise calm man into a killer and an Introverted woman into a whore? Like i have a family member thats gets violent after a few drinks.
@@John155-hq3hb It does seem to have something spiritual to it. Many things must be taken into account but at the end of the day, I have seen the ugly side and I try to see it from the perspective of christians who can enjoy it in moderation.

I agree everything, except the last part of your testimony.
It is not God’s will for any woman to get remarried while the husband is still alive and viceversa.
Even in the old testament, in the eyes of God, people like Abraham and David had just one wife, and the bible names that wife.
We don’t have to ask God concerning this situations because we have the clear statments of the bible.
The fact that the bible alows separation when people cannot live in peace anymore , doesn’t mean they can remarry, it only means they can live separate lifes.

She went away from Jesus when her boyfriend challenged the Bible, probably the Old Testament. But did Jesus really existed? Someone must have created this massive civilizacional movement called Christianity. It didn't pop out of thin air. We can call that someone Jesus. But most people don't know how Jesus was. They just know he was a very good guy and that's all. We need to describe Jesus qualities. Here some l know:
1- Super kind.
2- Compassionate.
3- Humble.
4- No addictions.

Fun fact - Even though Eminem curses and seems like the biggest POS - he is in recovery, been sober over 15 years from all drugs + alcohol - and he is a born again - spirit filled Christian. I think you will be surpriced the folks you see in heaven - dont be so quick to judge. Its easy to see someone with bad language and just tough person and dismiss them - but dont be judgemental. Its minor thing to cuss and smoke and even drink. Its the hate, unforgiveness, rebellion, occult, and division and SLANDER that God hates WAY MORE.
Some folks have tough lives, and they are hardened by life - not everyone is soft as a bubble bath.
I hear what you are saying I think there are a lot of people who from the outside external don’t look like you’re typical Christian, but they end up being closer to Jesus then say someone who would fit the description for your standard American Christian. In the last 10 years, Amazing Grace, is a song that I could not hear. I lost my Dad & as his service was ending & he’s carried out, this is the song that was sang. It was so beyond, beyond painful for me…and this song would take me right back there. So I would change it immediately. But as I’ve grown my relationship with The Lord in the last few years, he has strengthened me. When I was able to listen to it again & actually listened to the lyrics of Amazing Grace, i was wowd bc I can relate 🥹
