I’ve owned a lot of Panasonics. I’m going to use this as a desktop RUclips camera. Green screen with a capture card. $150 used now. Overall good video. I need better than iPhone. Larger sensor. Maybe take it outside. Good job.
I have one of these cameras. This camera excels at micro photografe. For the money, it is a steal with a fantastic zoom and the ability to take 1080p video with a very decent 50fps and a microphone jack. I recommend that anyone on a budget looking for a high-quality camera buy one of these. The camera defies its age, and for most amateur photographers, it is all you will ever need. For photos, I use the FZ200 for 4k video; I use my Panasonic G80. The FZ200 is a fantastic quality camera for beginner and intermediate photographers alike. You can easily pick one of these cameras up for under £100 pounds
The biggest mistake with this camera is that it doesn't have a place to charge via cable. You must remove the battery to charge it in electricity. The camera cannot be charged using a power bank because it does not have a charger port
I purchased a used FZ200 in 2017 for $200. I love it and use it all the time. I usually bring it on trips, along with my Nikon D5500, as backup. I just got back from a trip and unfortunately the FZ200 now has a big spot on the sensor. Does anyone know of a way to fix this ? It's noticeable in about 50% of photos.
I don’t know the answer to your question. It will probably cost more to fix the camera than throw it out and buy another body. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
What do you want from a 10 years old? One way to get the tremendous zoom range is to use a small size sensor. This crop factor multiplies the effect of the stated focal length. I believe the sensor size is less than 1”. A benefit of this lens is the constant aperture through the zoom range of 2.8. This is relatively fast. Most zooms close down rapidly as you zoom in. That could be unfortunate. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
Found this video while searching for FZ200 after getting it from my father, amazing reviewed but its rare to find tutorials on how to use this camera

Good use of B roll in the video. Keep up the good work man :)
Thanks
Thanks for reviewing this great camera! What do you mean by 4k video, its a 1920x1080 video resolution, similar to the GH2 and GH3.
Sorry I’ll correct it in the description

I have this camera, my biggest problem, it gets heavy holding it one handed. Good review.
