This is an unboxing and overview of the Nikon P7700 camera. The P7700 is a top-tier point and shoot camera with many manual controls. The mix of portability, an articulating LCD and manual options make this camera a great choice for travelling, vlogging etc.
The P7700 will shoot 1080p video at 30fps with VR (vibration reduction).

lacks the manual controls ? you can customize up to 6 buttons on the back plus the 6th one can handle up to 7 functions which means you have access to aaaaaaall the settings that YOU want in one and only one click.
Could you show some sample pictures with the camera next time? So you can give us a general idea of the quality.

the amount of megapixels a camera has do not always affect the quality of its pictures, this camera i can guarantee will take much better photos than a gs4
I was using this camera for few months now. The only "downside" for now was that lens cap pops off VERY easily. So you might wanna get something to connect it to the camera so you wont loose it ;)

I would like to know what the video is like on this, could you do a demo? I think a lot of the main differences between these cameras and more professional ones are very noticeable in video mode. I think we have the still image capturing down, and sensors are amazing these days, even in products like this one. But can the video hold up?

Canon T3i. Relatively cheap now that the T4i and T5i are out. Full HD video, mic input jack, full manual controls (including audio) yet simple enough for a novice. Get that and some good glass and you've got a beginners dream.

Sony is an astonishing manufacturer but will never be as good as Nikon and Canon in cameras. My opinion.
My point and shoot of choice is the Sony RX100. Expensive, yes, but it's fantastic. Much better specs than this one and it's still super compact.

The sony has a larger sensor a larger aperture does 30p and 60p in full 1080 et the list is still long !
