Honestly so helpful giving the instructions about which part of the string to hold as you're pulling the needle through. That was the part I had the most trouble figuring out from other videos.
I'm really glad to hear that! It makes me so happy to know people are finding my videos useful! 🥰 Please make sure you give it a like and share with your stitching friends 💜
Thank you! I was doing french knots for a crochet project. I have never done embroidery before. I did a whole bunch of french knots perfectly, then all of a sudden I got just a regular stitch lol. I did it over and over for 15 minutes and couldn't figure out why I couldn't do it anymore until I watched your video! Thank you!
Thank you so much I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong until I found your video. It was how I was holding the needle while wrapping. Thanks so much
Awesome 👍 I’m glad you figured it out 🥰 Now let’s make a lot of cute french knots! Please tag me on your progress shots is your post anything on Instagram, I will be happy to see your beautiful results 😘 Which project are you working on right now?
I’m glad it was helpful for you 🩷 It motivates me to create more useful tutorials like that. Please share this video with your friends! It will help this video to be seen by more people 😉
Thank you so much! 😊 Thank you too for watching my video 💕 Please share it with your friends 💜 I'm relatively safe, I live in a semi-dangerous area - Western part, there is no safe place in Ukraine unfortunately. There’s a high risk of attack from Belarus side, we are not feeling safe right now. We are checking news every hour, it’s pretty stressful.
Great to hear! 💜 I'm so glad it was helpful. I had to watch tons of videos and research a lot for this topic. I was making french knots right from the first try so I didn't have problems with that at all. For me it was not weird when people were telling me that they hate french knots and I was wandering why. So I decided that my mission is to help. I hope you will love making french knots now 🥰
I have had SUCH a hard time before! I would get it 40% of the tie and couldn’t figure it out. Making the wraps with the left hand instead of the needle made ALL the difference! Thank you so much
The Best from the Best vídeo I ever seen about French knots Thank you so much for your patience e incredible explication. Hugs from Faial island 🏝️, Azores, Portugal

@@EmbroideryArtbyNatDefinitely, I'm going to do that although most of them are cross stitchers that do some embroidery stitches only occasionally if designs require that.
I've made all of those mistakes. And since I didn't really know what was wrong, even though I now probably have a success rate of 90 %, it is really frustrating to handle the ones that don't work. Thanks for a great tutorial! I just wish I had it a couple of years ago.
Thank you for an excellent tutorial! 😊👍It was also helpful how you identified all the possible mistakes because I quickly recognized what I kept doing wrong.
What a great video! I was one of the 'bad wrappers'...LOL One quick question (and this may be on another video, but I just found your channel) do you separate your floss strands before you start (so they are 'neater')? I am not sure if my question makes sense. I couldn't quite tell from the video. Off to check out how to get that sampler!
It’s so great that you figured out what was wrong with your french knots 👍 now you can make them better! Yes I separate my threads one by one even if I need 3 or 4 threads. So this way my satin stitch and other stitches are laying flat and looks neater. You can get those samplers on Patreon if you join Stitching Club 😉 link is here: www.patreon.com/embroideryartbynat
