Thanks for the Sunday sermon with Reverend Cardi K! 🤠 😂🙏🤘"Weird semi religious worship," is why most of us joined the church/cult of Billy the Kid! 🤣😂 The never ending quest for the holy grail (birth certificate, photo with provenance, verified offspring etc) is what makes us stay! That & the knitwear! 🤠 😂🤠 🤘
Good morning. Thanks, Cardi K. I'll keep that information close in hand. I'm open to anything about (BTK). As I'm learning. Like you said about his childhood, that rang a bell, I feel the same way. I find that it seems everyone tends to lie or tell story's back then. Why is it that when back in the day Noone wrote about his childhood. Me if I was was getting information on someone I would of ask all about there life. Especially if I was a writer and boarding at someone house. (BTK) sure does keep you on your toes. Don't it? Dang I wish I could go back in time!!!
Funny timing, but I had a delightful conversation with a knowledgeable local in Lincoln yesterday. She was leaning towards Indiana. I had my own reasons for wanting Billy to be born in New York, lol, but only because my great grandmother was born there in 1860. That's not trying to mold real history into my personal agenda, is it? Oh, wait...
@@sandracastro4092 I think she was basing it off the first record of Catherine there at Indianapolis. She also thought that the N.Y. birth story was based largely on Garrett and Upson. I couldn't recall details, but I had told her that I believed other support existed. A friendly discussion, just sharing our thoughts. James just schooled us on the other evidence for N.Y. Oh, and I have been having a grand time. Did find one other from the old channel, Ayla. Spent some time with her and her significant other. Like me, they kept to their plans despite BillyPalooza being scrapped.
Nice video, James! Cameron, in his role as postal inspector, sometimes made exaggerated reports, one of these can be deduced by his well-known interview (published in many newspapers in 1882) when he talks about Dave Rudabaugh. However, I think he was right about where Dave was born (Ohio) and also on Billy (New York). Actually, I believe that both the Antrim's (William and Joe) are more reliable sources. Massimo
Most say New York wear they say he was baptized and he was with his brother Mom and Dad. Bushy Bill Roberts says he was born in Texas but the one you said was his Mom Bushy Bill Roberts says that was his Aunt.
This a BZ episode, so when they were married in Santa Fe does anyone know the age of Billy at this time? Where was Antrim born? I've heard different ages of Billy is why I ask. Billy was the older brother I believe. Help a brother out. Lol. Thanks for the video.
Billy was between 12 and 13 years old when his mom married Antrim, I believe. He was older than Josie, yes. Antrim was born Dec. 1, 1842, in Huntsville, Madison Co., Indiana, and he died in Adelaida, San Luis Obispo Co., California, Dec. 10, 1922, at 80 years old, at his sister's.
Ive got another source and the best one ,,billy was born in nyc on allen street in 1859 i was born on allen street in 1959 billy was baptized in st peters church on greene st in 1859 i was baptized in st peters church on green street in 1959, when i made my confirmation at age 13 the priest told me billy was baptized there in 1859 and wen i was 10 my father showed me his building where he was born as his father showed him in 1935 wen he was 10 coincidence ?? I dont think so good to see u up and running since MAG quit !!!!
News Flash! No one knows for sure. Personally I don’t buy he was born in NYC. I don’t buy that he ever lived in NYC but maybe very briefly. An Irish immigrant living in the Irish slums of NYC. Yeah okay, you don’t move out west and just become good with a gun, cattle and horses as he was in just a short period of time. Keep to young guns 2! 👍🏻
My answer to the question was, indeed, “No one knows for sure.” But to be fair, he would have moved to Indiana at the age of about six or seven. Wichita at about age ten. By Santa Fe he would have been about age twelve. It’s not like anyone is claiming he just lived in New York and then moved out west and learned to shoot and ride in two months at age twenty. He had years to learn. If you’re maintaining a Texas birth for Billy, more specifically Buffalo Gap, *you* are probably the one keeping to Young Guns 2 😃
Awesome presentation, James. And your timing is perfect of course!

Awesome job brother
Thanks! Enjoying your shows!
Awesome, thank you!
So interesting! Thanks for laying all this out!
NYC, I agree💯🗽(and yes, I know Lady Liberty was not yet born in the time of Billy's birth, but I like her!) 😉
James, thank you for this wonderful presentation of Billy. Excellent, enjoyed learning more history on The Kid.
Thanks so much
Absolutely excellent! I’m so glad you decided to start a RUclips channel. Wish this was longer and looking forward to much more 😊
Thank you!!
Enjoying these videos Cardi K! Keep up the good work.👍👍
Thanks so much

Definitely the knitwear 😂😂😂
Well said, Misty!
Misty, you boiled it down to the most important element, as always. It's all about the knitwear.
I see our hardcore community chat here. Hello to you all. 🙏

@Rollin_L I've been waiting to hear from you. What did the lady have to say, may I ask? Did a lot of people show up? Did you enjoy yourself?

Geesh… I’m disappointed.. it is now common knowledge that Patrick McCarty died as a result of a broken heart!
