They should just be friends who met in college and started working on their own private project and decided that they should move in together to inspire one another. He did have a committed relationship but due to his girlfriend cheating he broke up with her the night he planned to propose. So he's not too fond of the idea of romance at the moment. And the other sim maybe never was too concerned about romance because she always wanted to succeed in achieving her dream. Plus she was always thought of as the nerdy girl. But that's just how i picture them.
I love that it's starting slow and chill! No need to make everything a race all the time so well done Deli! I'd just sell most of the paintings via inventory and save a few for the flea market. And put a few fan sims in to be their friends.

Just sell the paintings right now and wait till your skill gets up a little higher and then sell them in the market. I think that's the smart way to go. People will probably be more likely to buy masterpieces so just sell the smaller ones right away

I started playing fully vanilla a few days ago and it’s challenging!! My sim is almost an adult and she still doesn’t have a nicely decorated home lol. She’s a food critic, level 7 I think, and her boyfriend is barely level 1 in cuisine, aspiring to be a mixologist. They have a baby on the way and it’s just toughhhhh

I was thinking that Finn has feelings for hope, but secretly though. Hope has no feelings for finn, and when hope finds true love, finn is devastated. Because he loves her, but she doesn't love him. So he just watches her love someone else, but he loves her so much, he is awkward with hopes partner, and when hope has children, he treats them as his own. Maybe hope can love finn one day?? But just a thought. Btw I LOVE you deli💖

Tip: you should also always tend the garden (water, weed etc.) before you harvest because you will get more harvesables and they will be worth more money.

what if Hope made a club to meet people and Finn reluctantly (because he thought it was kind of forced) joined but then met his soulmate there? i feel like he would be such a good dad! ohhh and Hope should go through lots of b/gfs because she's looking for a fairytale romance like in books! love the lp so far :))

Also can Hope get a hamster that she loves like crazy but Finn is jealous that he doesn’t get any attention from her anymore (this can still be in a friend way) so the hamster and Finn hate each other!

Might do to have Finn roam the neighborhood on the weekend and pick up goodies? Fossils, gems, and he can hit the community garden the corner for more things to add to the garden - they have Potatoes and carrots! :D Plus, they could have a pet frog! :P No feeling costs!
I know I'm late to the party, but the best thing about the cheap lot there is that it's super close to lots of wildflower spots and the community garden. You can go harvest that stuff, sell it from your inventory, and make a nice income. Snapdragons bring in some serious cash for some reason. :)
I love this let's play deli! I was thinking maybe they could each have separate families the intertwine later on in life maybe but they could raise their kids together as close friends BUT NOT LOVERS (kind of like family friends)
btw i love this LP !!!!!!!!!!!!! i reckon that finns paintings will stop selling as much, he starts to get upset and goes on a night out to the pub, he meets a girl and they both end up to drunk and he gets her pregnant, after she has the baby she gives it to finn without him knowing that she doesn't want to keep the baby. so the baby grows up with him and without its mother. !!!!!!! love you

I think it'd be really cute if they both got partners and children but as they were such good friends, they decided that their two families would live in the same house. Or two houses on one lot, like you did in Twins (when Lori and Aria had their own townhouses on the same lot) Love you Deli!! 😄

You should definitely try and find blackberries to plant and sell, since they sell for a lot of money. Also, I love how the pop art painting Finn made literally matched the green and purple of the house!
Loving this so far. You mentioned you get tired of seeing the same old sims in the first part you should move Hope and Finn to the world created by littlesimie! So many new sims and refreshing background for families. Also everytime I hear Hope and Finn I think of Hope and Finn from "The Originals"!
To keep Vlad away use the garlic wreath on the outside of the house.

Deli you should do portraits of the family every time there’s a milestone and I think Finn and hope should slowly start to like each other or they should get married and have a kid then find out they aren’t meant for each other and get divorced.
If you get a little pot for the front porch next to the door and plant garlic in it, it will keep the vampires away.

Sometimes it takes awhile to sell things. I was selling stuff on a table with 300% markup and made lots of money. You could try sell paintings from your home lot and have a yard sale but close your door first because you don’t want random people coming into your house.
Deli! I LOVE the new lets play, with my sims I just love to play vanilla, oh and here’s my idea, I think Finn and Hope should eventually live on a ranch and if they don’t find love, they can always adopt!

I think they should stay as good friends who support each other, have other love interests and even be friends with each others bf/gf and give each other advise on relationships but stay lowkey jealous to finally realize they should be together and see what has been right there since the beginning. I kind of want this series to evolve like on the show FRIENDS.

I hope (no pun intended) you can put more our sims in the game to avoid meeting characters like Bella, Nancy and Katrina. Don't get me wrong, they're huge staples but I thought it be great to see Hope and Finn interact with fresh faces in your game.
This LP inspired me to do my own vanilla style no cheats and it’s SOOOOOOO refreshing and rewarding when the money comes in I’m so glad I did it this way! Thanks for the idea!
Finn is cuter than I thought he was. I found him a sweet-but-platonic, please dork in the first ep, but more compelling this round. Hope is still delicious in an earthy way. Liberty just had dinner with one of my sims the other night (they went to a trattoria I got from the gallery... great place!) I suspect your art sales had to do with booth placement. You put the thing down in a spawn zone, but the sims already were launching away. I think over by the food carts would be a better choice.
